I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket open for Barenaked ladies and I’m still not really sure who they are. Barenaked ladies were phenomenal , though. I love Toad the Wet Sprocket. They came through my city last year with Marcy Playground and I'm still mad that I didn't go. Dulcinea is a must have in any 90s collection. They sounded great live. Ive just never listened to them before.

Did you somehow get hold of a time machine? Minnesota is behind by a few decades. It might be a Black Hole...I went and saw 10,000 Maniacs a couple weeks back.

It might be a Black Hole...I went and saw 10,000 Maniacs a couple weeks back. With Natalie Merchant? Heh, no. I think I fielded that one at least 2x a week from the time I bought my ticket til the day of the show. Natalie left in 1993. They've recorded four albums since her departure (amid a series of breakups and reunions) with their current singer Mary Ramsay (who, incidentally, has recorded with the band since before Natalie left). The rest of the founding members are still there, with the exception of Rob Buck, who died in 2000. Mary is basically a Natalie soundalike. I regularly see their highest charting single (More Than This) since Natalie left attributed to her.

I love a nostalgia act! WASP was on my radar for a while when I went down the rabbit hole on the Station Nightclub Fire (it's about an hour and a half from me and I was a big club show goer for many years). Great White's manager, who shot off the pyro, had done the same for WASP in the same club when he was road managing them.
