help me clear my head a little bit for everything concerning wait time in the following cases: average time between RSC releasing new set [basics, elites, battlepack] until they show up at: 1. big ebay stores 2. amazon 3. retail and average time of getting a new shipment of the same set at: 1. big ebay stores 2. amazon 3. retail 4. ringside Thanks

Mattel releases the set at any time and then rsc has their shipment flown directly to them from China. The rest of the orders are on a boat which takes an undisclosed amount of time to arrive in California and then be unloaded and delivered to the various retail stores distribution centers. From there each individual store is sent shipments of product from the distribution centers based on inventory. Generally rsc has their orders 2-6 weeks ahead of when you might find the set at a local retailer (It can depend on what part of the country you live in). Online distributors can get you the product faster than retailers in many cases because they skip a step in the distribution process. There are a lot of variables that make it unpredictable from set to set how to know if it's worth it to wait for retail and how easy will it be to find certain figures in a set. As time goes by I am finding myself more and more willing to just preorder thru rsc

It's 1-2 months between Ringside and Retail
When ringside gets their back order shipment in, that's when retail gets their first shipment

But as for e37....I got it from rsc a week ago. Any e37 on eBay at this point would be people selling who got it from rsc. It's anyone's guess when the online sellers like Amazon will recieve their shipment off the boat and ready for distribution. I would guess e37 is available thru Amazon in limited supply by the end of August. But you gotta be quick.

how much time does it take until amazon and retail gets a set that was just released on ringside Oh okay. I would say a good month so you could say about 2 weeks until they'll have elite 37? can we count on amazon to sell them 19.99 each? what's the prices of of basics\elites\battlepacks in US retailers?

I guess it depends on where you are located. I am in the North East. (Rockland County NY) and RSC normally gets items about a month or so before my local retailers do. There have been a couple things that retail has gotten first or at the same time. But most times they are about a month before my local retailers. And then they usually get their second shipments at the same time my retailers get it for the first time.

I'd agree with it being about a month,
but when you miss the series, it can feel like an eternity for retailers to get another shipment.

I think I know what you're saying. It depends. I've seen Elite 24 available on Amazon at the same time they were released at RSC.
