Not even Hogan did crap like that. He at least put his opponents over as far as promos and talking about them goes. It just does nothing for his opponent. Saying sh*t like you're title reign is a joke or Sunday will be easy, I just show up and do what I do? They wonder why the crowd is over Cena's crap. It's not that hard to figure out. Really, it does nothing for Cena either. I forget who talked about this, but probably a few older guys have. You never call your opponent a joke. If you win, so what? You beat a joke. If you lose, you were defeated by a joke. Who does either scenario help? |

Isn't it great how Cena will not only pin everybody but he also absolutely makes you seem worthless on the mic like you don't even matter. Promos weren't like that back in the day. Heels would do it before getting their comeuppance. But that's not the same thing, as they were always wrong when saying it. Plus, even they rarely went as far as he often does. I remember Jericho said in one of his books that you never want to brush off your opponent as a worthless piece of crap, because if you beat someone you've made look incredible then who is going to care. |

LOL is he F*CKING KIDDING? I understand it's WWE's duty to push/build up Summerslam, but Jesus don't insult our intelligence. This is probably one of the worst cards/buildups in Summerslam history.
