I don't like the idea of inducting individual matches, zero interest in seeing that. I just hope they are smart and get some of these guys in while they are still around to accept it. Macho Man is a perfect example of wasting too much time.
Very curious to see who goes in this year. Taker, Freebirds, Demolition, Rick Rude...X-pac maybe since the whole kliq is going in.

I have a feeling that the Freebirds are never going in. The recent controversy with the Confederate flag led WWE to make a statement that in all footage on WWE Network that shows the Freebirds using the Confederate flag, they will edit the rainbow gay pride flag to replace it. I don't think the WWE is going to do anything to promote or draw attention to the Freebirds that will cause people (especially the media) to do any research and make a big deal over their former use of the Confederate flag and say WWE is promoting racism, hate, black lives don't matter, etc. Ignorant non-wrestling fans aren't going to understand the context in which the flag was used. They just see the flag and they see hate and try and relate something from 30 years ago to what's happening in the news today....totally different scenarios, but wrestling will never get the benefit of the doubt. Michael Hayes is allegedly a real life racist anyway, so it is what it is. I can only imagine the bad press WWE would get for this in 2015:

The problem with the Hall of Fame is how few real headliners are left. Rock, Cena, Undertaker, Sting, Bryan, Triple H (and/or DX), Orton, Batista, Jericho, Big Show, Goldberg, Kane, Mysterio, Punk. Maybe the Hart Foundation. There might be a few others, but that's about it. And a bunch of those guys are still active or were recently, so it's a bit "meh" for them to headline a class soon. Big Show or Kane primarily. See, but that's kind of my issue and by the sound of things, others issue as well. there are a lot more than that that could headline a Hall of Fame class. While I obviously agree that the majority of the people that you listed are indeed headliners, none of them are really from the year 1990 or before. (Yes I'm aware that Sting wrestled before that as well as 'Taker but their impacts weren't felt until later) I don't know, a ton of old timers and legends to me could easily be considered the "headliner" of any year. And of course the Hart Foundation could be an easy headliner! Same could be said for the Freebirds or Demolition. I also agree that it is way too soon for about 96.5% of your list, lol. There's no way the Freebirds or Demolution could headline a Hall of Fame class. Million Dollar Man was a much bigger star than they were, and the year he headlined was super weak. Nobody pre-WrestleMania should be considered as a headliner, and anyone from the 1985-1990 period who could headline it is in the hall already. Most of the potential headliners left are too close to their active careers. That's a problem WWE is going to have going forward.
