i know this isn't a wrestling custom, but last time i made a custom figure it was a spartan from halo, and my thread got re-directed here. Today i was bored, so i decided to start my custom slipknot figures i'd been wanting to work on lately. I started a Corey today. It's not finished yet, i need to get the slipknot logo on his back, and the number 8 on his arm. If anyone has pics of other custom slipknot figures they've made, i'd enjoy seeing them. Let me know what you think, i know it's nothing great, but i like it. s105.photobucket.com/albums/m215/JangoFett655/?action=view¤t=DSC00001-2.jpgi like this next pic the best. s105.photobucket.com/albums/m215/JangoFett655/?action=view¤t=DSC00002-1.jpgs105.photobucket.com/albums/m215/JangoFett655/?action=view¤t=DSC00003-1.jpgoh, before i forget, it's made from a rey mysterio body and head, the rey that comes with the heavyweight belt and booker t, RA john morrison arms, and honky tonk man's jumpsuit inside-out.

All i had here was like 3 different shades of blue yarn. I tried green yarn, but it didn't look so great.

good idea, but i dont like the look of it. the dreads are too bulky, you could have used brownish yarn instead. he needs long sleeves instead of short sleeves also.

The head is a good choice just need to re-do the face & have thinner dreads. The jumpsuit is good idea, just need to add a design like you said. Also I like how you accidentally mentioned a song by them.

He has long sleeves, i just rolled them up. They're a little too long, so i'm going to trim them later. I definately need to change the hair. Yes, i noticed i mentioned "before i forget". I was going to word that differently, but i decided to see if anyone would notice that.

Just need to fix the hair/mask and finish painting the jumpsuit and it will be awesome.

The dreads need to be less bulky and green, like they use to be. And paint around the eyes and mouth and make the mask look like it were made out of masking tape.

Thanks for the idea S.I., i may try it if the hair idea i already have doesn't come out that well.
Also, i tried the red around the black scar, and it didn't look that good, so i'm leaving it plain black.
Anyone have some good pictures of Corey's old mask? They would really be appreciated.

I dont like it.
It has very little resemblemence to Corey Taylor. The dreads are badly done, the mask lacks alot of detail, the outfit also looks very baggy and out of place.
Next time try a Corey Taylor from his Stone Sour era, Thats what I was picturing when I saw this thread, before I noticed "from SlipKnot".

I added new ones last night. By the way, here's a pic of the mask on the body, and hair has been added. I used the best green colored yarn i could find. I had shoe lace type material to use, but it was too thick. Also, the black paint and the yarn aren't that shony in person, it's just the flash of the camera. s105.photobucket.com/albums/m215/JangoFett655/?action=view¤t=DSC00001-5.jpg
