I've given up on water and use a hair dryer now instead. Faster and less mess.

I microwave the water, does anyone else do this? Yup it's faster than boiling water in a kettle.

I microwave the water, does anyone else do this? I used to boil a pot of water, or put a kettle on, but honestly microwaving a large coffee mug is the easiest method for just swaps. For torso cracking I still use a kettle just because it gives a lot more water and I don't have to re microwave over and over again. (I also find it a more consistent and therefore predictable heat source than hair dryers...)

For headswaps, arms and legs etc I still like hair dryers better.
