I'm really sure that no one hated anyone in the good old days...please. If Import was here, i know there was at least a little hate. I used to visit all the time in those days, and a lot of those guys were my inspiration, i have tons of respect for them. But that time is over with, and talking about it every time someone makes a comment you don't like won't make them come back. Nothing will. We all know what happened to CEF, but why does it need to continually be talked about? If as you stated, he is breaking the rules, then do your job as an admin as you see fit. But when you respond to an attack with an attack, it does nothing for your reputation. We all have the right to hate someone if we want. I'm sure some people probably hate you, i know some people hate me, who gives a shit? It's a message board, chances are you'll never see half of these people in your life, and chances are even higher that the person that is portrayed here is probably nothing like the real person. Feuds and heat are what make wrestling great, we need some of this kind of stuff to make these competitions exciting. Gate may really feel this way, he may not. What's wrong with a little kayfabe? Nothing, that's what.

How do you know Gate is being serious.. i mean seriously? Are you inside his head like Being John Malkovich? One of his favorite wrestlers is Brian Pillman. Pillman was a loose cannon. I think he's playing all you guys like fiddles and he knows that.

With all this crap gate has been talking.. i have to ask why hasnt he been kicked out of the customs board or banned? If you make an exception for one person then you have to make an exception for another correct?

Well the way things seem now, maybe not... seeing as very few actually do have the gonads to be honest. You people take things WAY too seriously... Who cares if someone likes you or not... are you that insecure with yourself that you must have the approval and admiration of everyone here? I know damn well there are more than a handful of people that I dislike and probably even more that dislike me... There comes a point where you want to stop being the polite sweetheart and start being real. Gate's work is one of the only reasons I for one, come on here anymore.. banning him would do nothing but hurt the customs board in general. Simply put... if you dont like him or the way he operates, earn a title shot, beat him and shut him up. |

No one's getting banned. This place may have been able to exist before I came along, but now since you've had a taste of the GCS you can't go without me.
How about you guys stop discussing me and focus on your matches. You are aware that there will be two Heavyweight title matches, right? Well technically HR vs Beyondo won't be as much a match as it will be an execution, but at least FamousJ vs Beyondo will be good.
Tag champ vs tag champ to determine who will go on to face the winner of ROZZ/Guster and fight for a Heavyweight title match. That will be a nice series of matches. Will the 2 time Customania champion Oozing's tournament experience be the deciding factor, or will he be upset in the first round by the former Heavyweight champion? Will we see ROZZ/Beyondo 2? Will Guster be able to fire on all cylinder's since he has to make two customs back to back?
Also, Titan will defend his Cruiserweight championship against the big bad Biohazard. Will Bio's knowledge of popular 1950's television show theme songs be able to help him here? Let's just hope that at Heatwave Biohazard will have a "Happy Day(s)".
Don't forget, there's a IC title match too. Not sure who's in that one though, I hear the champion is a real tough cookie.

No Sandy, I wasn't referring to you. Not everything involves you cowboy. Good. Just checking. Because I have about 2 pounds of super sculpey just waiting to be used. To Titantrap. As far as older customizers talking about the "good ol' days"...why the hell not? A very small margin of us have been around doing this sh** since the days of hasbro and BCA. So it is a hard adjustment to see how much the world of customizing has changed. The top tier of customizers have changed. They are amazing but they keep customs as close as a JAKKS product as possible. Whereas back "in the day" customizers would put their own stamp on a custom so that when you saw it you knew exactly who did it. You could tell a Baity custom from a Tinyman custom. A CK custom from a Rich custom. etc. etc. Back then people weren't afraid to try new things like full torso, head, arms, or body sculpts. Nowadays an old school dude accustomed to trying those things would beat the majority of this board if the stipulation was a full body sculpt. How many of you have tried a full head sculpt? How many of you paint your own skintones? How many of you modify heads instead of constantly using real scan? It is just the small things that separate then from now. The only ones capable of doing that stuff now would be Beyondo, famousj, jsh(but he is kind of old school), and a couple of others. |

Yeah, I was gonna say, there are way too many good matches on this card to get caught up in this.
I didn't mean to stir trouble by saying I was going to ban Wrestlecrap, but we can't always skew in the direction of the champ, especially when the champ is already that damn good. Plus, Gate, just because the stip might not be wrestlecrap, doesn't mean that you can't creatively fit a wrestlecrapper into it.
I gotta modify this to respond to Sandman. I think a lot of the guys today are rockin' their own styles. Most everyone in the competitions does paint skintones (and I'm not even going to start the "is that better or not" argument), and have been increasingly modding torsos and the like. I think Gate is actually a really good example. His customs look Jakks-like, but if you look, you'll realize that there's actually quite a bit of sculpting. Maybe it's just me, but I can recognize a Gate, Import, Titan, Beyondo, Rome, FamousJ, Jay, Texacide, and Gore customs, along with guys who aren't in the competitions like enestaesquinaaa and txr.. There are a lot of guys who are still learning and developing their style. Don't write them off.
