Afterburn #2
1. Dave Batista admits that he is not the greatest orator.
Public speaking is something in which Stephanie McMahon is proficient, not him, but he will persevere tonight in her absence.
He says what Kane did last week was unacceptable and worthy of a lengthy suspension.
At the very least, Kane has been barred from the building tonight.
While he awaits Ms. McMahon’s decision on the matter, Batista says he will proceed with the main event as planned.
Kurt Angle and John “Bradshaw” Layfield will compete in a Singles match with the winner moving on to next week’s show to face Undertaker for the vacant World Heavyweight Championship!
Results
2. Rene Dupree successfully defends his International Championship against “Macho Man” Randy Savage in a Singles match for his first title defense.
--
3. Raven defeats Gangrel and The Big Red Machine in a No Disqualifications Triple Threat match to determine the Number 1 Contender for the International Championship.
--
4. Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeats Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (of The Hart Foundation) in a “Classics” Singles match.
--
5. Simon Dean defeats Rikishi in a Singles match.
Dean scores the quick roll-up pin after tossing a handful of protein powder into Rikishi’s eyes.
--
6. In the main event, John “Bradshaw” Layfield defeats Kurt Angle in a Singles match with the assistance of Kane.{1}
Angle has JBL on the verge of tapping to his Ankle Lock submission hold before Kane bursts through the ring canvas, presumably from the bowels of the arena, with lead pipe in hand.
The distraction allows JBL to break free, regain his composure, and nail Angle from behind with a vicious “Clothesline From Hell” for the win.
JBL quickly flees the ring as soon as he realizes that Kane is not on anyone’s side but his own.
Meanwhile, Batista can only look on in horror at what Kane is about to do to an unconscious Kurt Angle.
Kane raises the rusted lead pipe above his head with the intent to due serious bodily harm, and the feed abruptly cuts out.
Notes:1. Here are the two figures that were used during the main event: John "Bradshaw" Layfield - Jakks WWE Adrenaline Series 9 (RA) Kurt Angle - Jakks WWE Ruthless Aggression Series 8 (RA)

Velocity #121. Vince McMahon says the Royal Rumble match is beginning to take shape and it couldn’t come at a better time. The big event is less than one week away, and the Velocity roster will be doing its part tonight to fill in a few more of the blanks. Since the roster is so condensed, there will only be three numbers given out again this week. In the meantime, he encourages everyone to check out the revamped WWE website for the up-to-date live event schedule leading up to the Rumble. He says “a good chunk” of the Rumble match entrants will be decided on this week’s house show circuit, so don’t miss out on live WWE action coming to a city near you! -- Results: 2. Rosey defeats Steven Richards in a Singles match. 3. X-Pac defeats The Associate in a Singles match. 4. In the main event, Christian defeats Road Warrior Hawk in a Singles match. -- Here are the numbers that were drawn at random after tonight’s matches: Number 7 Rosey Number 26 X-Pac Number 5 Christian

Impact! #121a. It has been a hectic week thus far for the traveling circus known as WWE and it’s not yet over. Coming off the heels of a successful first-half tour of the Southwestern United States, Vince McMahon confirms five new entrants for the Royal Rumble match just around the corner. Beginning in Glendale, Arizona, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho earned their way by defeating The New Age Outlaws in a Non-title Tag Team match. Rob Van Dam and Edge split a series of matches against one another mere days before their 2-out-of-3 Falls encounter live on pay-per-view. Despite their final match ending in a draw in El Paso, Texas, Mr. McMahon says he awarded the both of them spots in the Rumble because of their sensational work as of late. Finally, Eddie Guerrero received a warm hometown welcome with best friend and teammate Rey Mysterio at his side. They were to have competed in a Tag Team match against the new Money Inc. for the opportunity at a Rumble selection each, but Rey came up lame the night before with a sprained right ankle and was ruled out for the show. However, he is still slated for an appearance at the Royal Rumble in Eddie’s corner for the Intercontinental Championship match. Eddie reluctantly went about competing without his friend, but he emerged as the winner in a Singles match against Test (of the new Money Inc.) with what’s said to be “a very favorable draw” given the circumstances. Here are the numbers that were drawn at random during this past week’s house show circuit: Number 21 Chris Benoit Number 12 Chris Jericho Number 17 Rob Van Dam Number 11 Edge Number 25 Eddie Guerrero 1b. Mr. McMahon continues by saying tonight’s matches will be every bit as random and unpredictable as the events of this past week. His reasoning is that you never know who you might come to blows with in the Royal Rumble match, so if anything this will prepare a select number of WWE Superstars for the chaos that lies ahead. Results: 2. The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) defeat The Dudley Boyz in a Tag Team match to determine future Number 1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship. The former Tag champs now await the winners of the Tag Team Championship match scheduled for the opening of the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. 3. Intercontinental Champion Booker T defeats Matt Hardy in a Non-title Over The Top Rope Royal Rumble Qualifier match. The winner receives the better of the two randomly drawn numbers. Here are their numbers: Number 19 Booker T Number 10 Matt Hardy 4. Stone Cold Steve Austin defeats Sid Vicious in an Over The Top Rope match in near-record time. No additional numbers are at stake here since both have already qualified for the Royal Rumble match. 5. Backstage in Mr. McMahon’s office, Christian meets with the owner to discuss his involvement at the Royal Rumble. He says he doesn’t expect any preferential treatment; more than anything, he says he would like another chance at a return match with Edge for injuring him some time ago. Now that he’s been relegated to the Velocity roster, Christian says he doesn’t feel as if the opportunity will ever come his way again. Mr. McMahon assures him that anything is possible, and given that both men qualified for the Rumble match, it is “very likely” that he will get his second chance sooner rather than later. “There is a lot that can happen between now and then,” McMahon says before sending him on his way. 6. Ric Flair (of Evolution 2.0) defeats Cactus Jack in an Over The Top Rope Royal Rumble Qualifier match. The winner receives the better of the two randomly drawn numbers. Here are their numbers: Number 16 Ric Flair Number 3 Cactus Jack 7. In the main event, World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels, a.k.a. two-thirds of Evolution 2.0, defeat the team of Randy Orton and John Cena in a Non-title Tag Team match. The challengers are pummeled once again at the conclusion of the match, but a contingent of 20-some-odd WWE Superstars quickly fill the ring and run off the champs in anticipation of the Royal Rumble. It's a rare showing of solidarity this close to the Rumble match, but in the end everyone will be gunning for the next shot at either HHH or HBK’s championship.
Notes:There are now only seven spots remaining for the Royal Rumble match. Two have been set aside for surprise entrants, and the other five will be revealed soon. We'll know more in the coming days as WWE wraps up its tour of the Southwestern United States. Stay tuned!

Afterburn #3 – Dated December 31st, 2004
1. Stephanie McMahon is back for the New Year’s Eve taping, but she’s not in a festive mood.
She reminds the audience of Kane’s actions over the past two weeks; fortunately for Kurt Angle, he did not suffer any serious injuries at the hands of Kane.
Security personnel rushed the scene last week as soon as the show went off the air, and they were able to subdue Kane while removing the lead pipe from his grasp.
With her business partner/enforcer Dave Batista at her side, Ms. McMahon orders Kane to appear at the building tonight because he’s been scheduled to compete in a sanctioned match!
Earlier in the afternoon, Kurt Angle approached Ms. McMahon and requested a one-on-one match with Kane, and his request has been granted, albeit reluctantly.
Results:
2. “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan defeats Jake “The Snake” Roberts in a “Classics” Singles match.{1}
Hacksaw’s fear of snakes nearly got the better of him, but he had the presence of mind to use his trusty 2x4 to weigh down Jake’s napsack and render it useless.
3. American Phenom successfully defends his Cruiserweight Championship against Simon Dean in a Singles match for his first title defense.
Dean’s attempts to flee the ring in search of a painless count-out loss are thwarted by Rikishi, who cuts him off halfway up the entrance ramp and carries him back to the ring.
During the commotion, Raven approaches the ringside barrier to catch a closer glimpse of the action.
He seems pleased with the progress his pupil AP has made since joining the Afterburn roster, but he reminds him with a glance as if to say the night is not yet over. AP nods back in confirmation, and then he lays to waste Simon Dean for the 1-2-3.
4. The Hart Foundation (Bret “Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) successfully defend their Tag Team Championship against the team of Gangrel and The Big Red Machine, now known as The Brood, in a Tag Team match for their first title defense.
Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier (of La Resistance) look on at their competition from atop the entrance way with a pair of antique Mother of Pearl opera binoculars.
Jim Neidhart can barely restrain himself from knocking the smug looks off their faces, but Bret Hart reminds him to keep his head in the game.
After securing the win with a trademark Hart Attack finisher, Bret Hart says in an interview that the team is as strong as ever, but they can’t allow outside distractions to become a factor if they want to remain champions.
5. With the help of his loyal follower American Phenom, Raven defeats Rene Dupree in a Singles match to become the new International Champion!
Raven tells AP that with both championship victories under their belt, their plan is working to perfection.
Before revealing any of what’s to come, the champs exit through the crowd and out into the night.
6. A returning Kane defeats Kurt Angle in a Singles Challenge match.
Angle gives his best herculean effort but to no avail; Kane is an unstoppable force and plows through his competition.
He is becoming more like his brother Undertaker than anyone cares to mention, except ruthless in a way that ‘Taker never fully tapped into during his younger years.
Kane delivers a chokeslam to Angle on the exposed concrete floor, followed by a Tombstone Piledriver on the bottom half of the ring steps. The referee determines Angle has been knocked unconscious and calls the match in favor of Kane.
Backstage, Stephanie McMahon and Dave Batista are facing a great amount of backlash for allowing Kane to compete in a sanctioned match.
7. In the main event, Undertaker defeats John “Bradshaw” Layfield in a Singles match to become the new World Heavyweight Champion!
JBL wrestles the brand new championship belt away from the ringside timekeeper to gain an advantage, but Undertaker is able to dodge his strikes and locks in a triangle choke submission hold for the win.
The show closes with ‘Taker posing on one knee and basking in the spotlight as Afterburn’s inaugural World Heavyweight Champion!

In the latest bit of news from WWE’s tour of the Southwestern U.S., it is confirmed that all of the remaining spots in the Royal Rumble match have been filled. Jeff Hardy defeats Booker Washington (rookie, no relation to Booker T) in a Singles match to secure his spot in the Rumble match. The Big Show returns from a minor right knee injury to compete in a Mini Royal Rumble/Battle Royal exhibition in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is declared the winner, thus earning him a spot as well. He says he will be coming for revenge against Cactus Jack for putting him on the shelf three weeks ago. The Rock and Yokozuna (a.k.a. The Samoan Duo) defeat The Legion of Doom in a Tag Team match in Houston, Texas to ensure they won’t be missing out on the premier event of the new year. Finally, speculation is abound that a third special entrant was due to appear at the Rumble, but “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase squashes that rumor. Ted DiBiase announces his VIP entrance into the Rumble match on the last stop of WWE’s live event tour in San Antonio, Texas after making quick work of a hapless unidentified local competitor. Here are the final five numbers that were drawn at random during this past week’s house show circuit: Number 1 Jeff Hardy Number 14 The Big Show Number 20 The Rock Number 23 Yokozuna Number 8 Ted DiBiase Finally, here is a list of all 30 qualified entrants who are getting ready to compete in the 2005 Royal Rumble match: (In alphabetical order)Booker T Bubba Ray Dudley Cactus Jack Charlie Haas Chris Benoit Chris Jericho Christian D-Von Dudley Eddie Guerrero Edge Glen Jacobs (rookie, not Kane) Jeff Hardy John Cena Matt Hardy Perry Saturn Randy Orton Ric Flair Rob Van Dam Rosey Shelton Benjamin Sid Vicious Stone Cold Steve Austin Ted DiBiase The Big Show The Hurricane The Rock X-Pac Yokozuna [Surprise Entrant #1] [Surprise Entrant #2]

Royal Rumble (PPV #3) – Dated January 4-5th, 2005 [1]1. The Samoan Duo (The Rock and Yokozuna) defeat Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a Tag Team match to become the new Tag Team Champions! Rock lifts his knees to block Jericho’s Springboard Lionsault, then he sets him up in the corner for a devastating Samoan Drop and Yokozuna Banzai Drop combo for the win. 2. John Cena successfully defends his United States Championship against The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) in a Triple Threat match for his second title defense. Cena catches Jeff out of thin air and FU’s him on top of his brother Matt, then he covers both for the pinfall victory. 3. Rob Van Dam defeats Edge, 2-1, in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match with a little help from Christian and some “Extreme” ingenuity along the way. For more on this match, check out the November To Remember PPV event right here on the WF Text Figure Fed board! 4. Eddie Guerrero defeats Booker T in a Singles match to become the new Intercontinental Champion! Booker botches a Scissors kick and gets trapped in a modified school boy pin by Eddie for the surprise title change! Even more shocking, Eddie goes to hug his injured cornerman Rey Mysterio and instead receives a swift dropkick to the mouth! It appears Mysterio has been feigning an ankle injury all this time. He cracks Eddie over the top of the head with his crutch and draws blood. Mysterio grabs for a ringside microphone and screams down at Eddie: “You wouldn’t be nothin’ without me, amigo!” A chorus of boos reigns down upon him as he exits the ring. 5. Steven Richards and The Associate defeat Test and A-Train (of the new Money Inc.) in a bonus Tag Team match. Manager Ted DiBiase intends to humiliate his former Money Inc. representatives, but his plan backfires on him when he mistimes an Irish Whip into the ropes and cracks A-Train across the back with his briefcase. Richards and The Associate, perennial losers they may be, walk out as winners after tonight. 6. In the main event, it is every man for himself in the 30-Man Over The Top Rope Royal Rumble match! Randy Orton will now go on to face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship at No Way Out. As the runner-up, United States Champion John Cena will challenge Shawn Michaels for the Undisputed Championship on that same night. Immediately after the bell sounds, Evolution 2.0 (Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair) attack the ring in search of their next challengers. Triple H lifts an exhausted Orton up for the Pedigree, but Cena runs in and sends The Game flying with a shoulder tackle. Shawn Michaels attempts Sweet Chin Music on an unsuspecting Cena, but Orton picks himself off the canvas in time to perform a running clothesline on The Heartbreak Kid. Ric Flair lunges in the ring after them only to be picked up by Cena and thrown into an RKO for the wildest moment of the night. The crowd is ecstatic at seeing these two work together so well! The Rumble foes stand united against Evolution 2.0 in this moment, but their budding rivalry is far from over.

Velocity #13
1. Vince McMahon is quick to remind everyone that the Road to WrestleMania has now begun.
He says fans need look no further than one of Velocity’s own, Christian, who has been accepted to the main roster on the basis of his involvement at the Royal Rumble.
If he is able to take advantage of the opportunity, Mr. McMahon says Christian might very well contend for a spot at No Way Out or even WrestleMania.
Those same opportunities will be afforded to the rest of the Velocity brand roster beginning tonight with the kick-off of post-Rumble competition in the form of a 16-man single elimination tournament.
Mr. McMahon says the tournament final will be held at No Way Out and it will determine the first ever WWE Velocity Champion!
First round action starts now!
Results:
2. Perry Saturn defeats Bad Ass Billy Gunn in a Singles match to advance.
3. Glen Jacobs defeats A-Train in a Singles match to advance.
4. Justin Credible defeats Road Warrior Hawk in a Singles match to advance.

Impact! #13
1. Vince McMahon invites Evolution 2.0 to the ring to discuss the aftermath of the Royal Rumble match.
The group comprised of World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels, and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair eagerly make their arrival.
Mr. McMahon addresses Evolution 2.0's ambush attack on John Cena and Randy Orton and how it blew up in their faces at the end of the night.
Flair cuts off McMahon and tells him to get to the point or else he’ll find out exactly what it means to be blindsided.
Mr. McMahon cuts out the filler and informs both champions that they will be in Singles action next week on Impact!
Triple H will face United States Champion John Cena in a non-title match, and Shawn Michaels will be in the main event against Royal Rumble Winner Randy Orton!
In the meantime, McMahon says Flair will compete tonight in a match against one-half of the former Tag Team Champions!
“I would tell you who your exact opponent is going to be,” McMahon says to an increasingly-irate Flair, “but if anyone can appreciate a good blindsiding, I know it’s you.”
Results:
2. The Rock and Yokozuna (a.k.a. The Samoan Duo) successfully defend their newly-won Tag Team Championship against The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) in a Tag Team match for their first title defense.
3. Christian returns to the main roster and defeats Chris Jericho in a Singles match.
His post-match celebration is short-lived, however, when Edge appears from behind with a steel chair.
Edge cracks Christian with a sadistic chair shot to the back of the neck.
He follows it up with an Edgecution to Christian who lands head-first on the folded chair.
Edge then poses for the hard camera with one foot placed precisely on the injured neck of Christian.
4. Stone Cold Steve Austin defeats Cactus Jack in a Hardcore match.
“The Hardcore Legend” is unable to protect himself after the match when The Big Show exacts revenge on him for an accidental injury incurred one month ago.
Show reveals in an interview later that he believes the bone bruise he sustained at Impact! #9 in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Cactus Jack was caused by his opponent’s reckless nature.
He hammers on Cactus with lefts and rights before chokeslamming him all the way over the top rope and down to the floor below.
5. Chris Benoit defeats Ric Flair (of Evolution 2.0) in a Singles match.
"The dirtiest player in the game" fails to outwit Benoit in a spot involving an exposed turnbuckle.
Benoit reverses the Irish Whip into the corner and capitalizes on Flair's groggy state with a German Suplex pinning combination for the win.
6. In the main event, the makeshift team of Rey Mysterio and Booker T defeat new Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam in a Tag Team match.
All hell breaks loose afterwards as opponents and teammates alike begin fighting with one another.
Mr. McMahon puts an end to the quarreling by commissioning a Fatal Four Way match for the upcoming No Way Out pay-per-view.
Eddie’s Intercontinental title belt will be for the taking, but as for which one of these men will have their hand triumphantly raised on that night?
“Your guess is as good as mine,” McMahon says with a smirk.

Afterburn #4
1. “The Elite” Chris Masters defeats Rob Conway (of La Resistance) in a Singles match.{1}
Masters boasts an impressive physique, but his narcissistic tendencies nearly get in the way of his focus during the match.
Simon Dean appears midway through, standing in the aisleway and taking notes with his "Simon System"-branded clipboard and pen. 2. Stephanie McMahon says big things are coming to Afterburn, and no she’s not referring to the size of Chris Masters’ biceps.
She says Afterburn will host its first special event in four weeks titled “One Night Only.”
It will be the only show where every active wrestler on the roster competes on the same night.
As of right now, all championships will be defended at “One Night Only”, but the card is subject to change.
There won’t be anything else like it, or Ms. McMahon says each and every fan will get their money back!
3. Kane defeats The Brood (Gangrel and The Big Red Machine) in a Handicap match.
With the odds stacked against him, Kane delivers on a double chokeslam to The Brood which finishes them off for good.
Kane isn’t the least bit shy about his intentions; he performs a cut-throat gesture and motions for an invisible championship belt around his waist.
4. International Champion Raven and Cruiserweight Champion American Phenom defeat the current Tag Team Champions Bret “Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart (a.k.a. The Hart Foundation) in a Non-title Tag Team match.
The Hitman looks to make the hot tag in a moment of desperation, but his partner is nowhere to be found.
It seems Neidhart has been tripped up on the apron by American Phenom.
Back in the ring, Raven regains control of Bret and unleashes an Evenflow DDT for the win, but on this night titles do not change hands.
5. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper introduces a segment known far and wide as “The Pit” with first guest John “Bradshaw” Layfield!{2}
In an unusually cordial meeting, JBL discusses his failed attempt at becoming the first World Heavyweight Champion of Afterburn on last week’s show and where he goes from here.
He hopes to get back in the title hunt as soon as possible and says his confidence is at an all-time high despite losing to Undertaker.
JBL doesn’t take too well to Piper’s line of questioning, so he offers to showcase what he’s made of right here and now.
A longtime friend of Piper’s, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, enters the ring to try and de-escalate the situation, but instead he’s met by a patented JBL “Clothesline From Hell”!
6. In the main event, Undertaker successfully defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Rene Dupree in a Singles match for his first title defense.
The bell sounds to signify Undertaker’s victory, but it also signals a pyrotechnics explosion from the ring posts which can only mean one thing: Kane has arrived!
The two brothers stand face-to-face in the center of the ring, then Kane turns his attention to a bewildered Rene Dupree.
Kane proceeds to decimate Dupree in front of the watchful eye of his brother.
Through it all, he says nothing; Kane’s actions speak louder than his words ever could.
His actions tonight suggest a title opportunity could be on the horizon, but ultimately that won’t be for him to decide. Notes:1. I cannot for the life of me remember which figure I used for "The Elite" Chris Masters, but I'll be sure to update this post if it ever comes to mind. 2. "The Pit" is obviously a reference to Piper's Pit. Also, here is the figure that was used for Piper's debut segment: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper - Jakks WWE Classic Superstars Series 4 (RA)

Impact! #14
1. Vince McMahon announces the signing of several matches across the board for the upcoming No Way Out pay-per-view event.
The Velocity brand will crown its first champion in a tournament final, but as of now there are still eight competitors active in the field.
Their names include: Perry Saturn, The Hurricane, X-Pac, Justin Credible, Sid Vicious, Road Dogg Jesse James, Glen Jacobs and Road Warrior Animal.
Elsewhere, Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero will be forced to defend against Booker T, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam in a Fatal Four Way match after last week’s massive brawl.
Can Eddie persevere or are the odds too great for him to succeed?
The world lay in Edge’s hands prior to the Royal Rumble, then Christian took it all away from him.
He seeks retribution in a Falls Count Anywhere match at No Way Out, but will Edge’s former tag partner get the better of him once more?
Finally, World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels (of Evolution 2.0) are scheduled to defend their respective titles against Randy Orton and John Cena.
Orton has decided to invoke his right as Royal Rumble winner to challenge HHH for the World Heavyweight title at No Way Out instead of WrestleMania.
Meanwhile, Cena is still deliberating on whether or not he should put up his United States Championship against HBK in what would be WWE’s first ever Title Unification match.
Mr. McMahon says all of that and more can be expected for No Way Out in less than three weeks’ time.
Results:
2. Rob Van Dam versus Booker T in a Singles match ends in a double disqualification.
During the course of the match, Booker is cast out of the ring and he reaches for a steel chair at ringside.
RVD grabs a chair of his own from under the ring and the scene turns into a Sosa-McGwire slugfest.
The referee rules the bout a draw and per orders of Mr. McMahon, a rematch has been scheduled for next week’s show.
3. On the heels of their first successful title defense last week, The Samoan Duo (The Rock and Yokozuna) are granted the opportunity to host their very own Open Tag Team Title Challenge.
Stone Cold Steve Austin and a surprise partner, the ever-fashionably late Dude Love, arrive separately and accept the challenge.
In a shocking twist of fate, the tandem of Austin and Love defeat Rock and Yokozuna to become the new Tag Team Champions!
4. World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defeats United States Champion John Cena in a Non-title Singles match due to the interference of fellow Evolution 2.0 member Ric Flair.
5. William Regal defeats Edge in a Singles match after a bruised and battered Christian appears live via satellite on the Titan Tron for the timely distraction.
6. The trio of Rey Mysterio, Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas defeat Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a 6-Man Tag Team match.
7. In the main event, Randy Orton defeats Shawn Michaels in an Undisputed Championship match, however the title does not change hands since Orton wins via disqualification.
Orton nails HBK with an RKO to have seemingly won the match, except Triple H breaks up the count at two-and-a-half to bring about the DQ finish.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair attempts to join in the post-match fracas, but John Cena catches him and administers an FU on the outside of the ring.
With his back turned to the entrance way, Orton rises to his feet and fends off Evolution 2.0 on his lonesome.
Orton succeeds in running off HHH and HBK, then he reacts with a quick striking RKO to Ric Flair creeping up behind him.
Only it’s not Ric Flair.
Orton turns to find that he has laid out John Cena in the center of the ring by mistake.
Evolution 2.0 stumbles to the back in defeat, but the smiles on their faces suggest otherwise. On this night they have possibly created a wedge between their two greatest foes, and that could ultimately win them the war.

Afterburn #5
1. There’s not much anyone can do to convince Kane not to hijack the show tonight.
He says he’s entitled to a rematch with his brother The Undertaker with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, and he’s not going to leave ringside until he gets it.
Stephanie McMahon and Dave Batista arrive with patience worn thin, but they say they’re not about to give in to the demands of “a psychopathic freak.”
Batista says if Kane wants the opportunity bad enough, he’s going to have to go through him first when he laces up his boots for the very first time on Afterburn next week!
Kane accepts with a wry smile stretched across his hideous face.
Results:
2. American Phenom successfully defends his Cruiserweight Championship against a debuting Ultimo Dragon in a Singles match for his second title defense.{1}
Dragon puts on a dazzling display of acrobatic maneuvers, but in the end he stumbles and falls in a high-risk attempt thanks to an interfering Raven.
3. John “Bradshaw” Layfield defeats “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan in a Singles match.
Another vicious “Clothesline From Hell” later and Hacksaw learns the hard way not to stick his nose in JBL’s business.
4. “Rowdy” Roddy Piper says he’s back again with another installment of “The Pit” and this time his guest is former International Champion Rene Dupree!
The language barrier is a bit problematic for this interview, but Piper more than makes up for it with his usual funny and sarcastic quips.
Dupree makes a mockery of the occasion and chooses to speak exclusively in French while a confused Piper looks on.
Piper begins to slap himself across the face to the amusement of the crowd, but his efforts are not making the words sound any clearer to him.
He says maybe this will work better if he does it to Dupree, so he playfully slaps Dupree across the face to the delight of the crowd.
Dupree executes a double leg takedown and pummels on Piper until officials come to break it up.
Piper says he’s not about to back down from “a French pastry like Dupree”, and he says he’ll get what he’s got coming to him.
5. La Resistance (Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier) defeat The Hart Foundation (Bret “Hitman” Hart and Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart) in a Tag Team match to become the new Tag Team Champions!
Just as Bret feared would happen, the antics of the challengers are too much for Neidhart to bear and it cost them their Tag Team titles.
Bret retaliates out of frustration against his brother-in-law, who he blames for bringing down the good name of the Hart family.
Neidhart tries to plead his case and convince Bret that his feet were being held down out of view of the referee in the opposing corner of the ring, but Bret refuses to reason with him.
“I don’t associate with losers”, Bret says, “and as far as I’m concerned, you don’t belong in this family anymore.”
6. Chavo Guerrero defeats five other Cruiserweight challengers in a 6-Man Gauntlet to become the new Number 1 Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.
In one of the best showings of his career, Chavo single-handedly defeats Crash Holly, Nunzio, Simon Dean, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, and Jake “The Snake” Roberts despite entering the Gauntlet first.
7. In the main event, Raven successfully defends his International Championship against Kurt Angle in a Singles match for his first title defense.
Angle is not nearly 100% healthy in the two weeks since he suffered a full-body beat down at the hands of Kane, but he’s ready to give it all he’s got for the International title.
Unfortunately for him, Raven is in prime condition as he methodically breaks down what’s left of Angle and finishes him off with a top-rope assisted neckbreaker for the win.

Velocity #15
The quarterfinals of the Velocity Championship tournament take place tonight and they are sure to set up for a most intriguing semifinal round next week.
Conspicuous by his absence yet again is Vince McMahon; the owner of WWE is said to be working extensively at finalizing the contract of an incoming Superstar, but not much else is known at this current time.
Reports floating around the locker room are unsubstantiated, but it is being said that Mr. McMahon is very serious about this person’s potential in WWE.
Were it not for Mr. McMahon’s business acumen, the Velocity brand and its ongoing 16-man single elimination tournament would not have had a complete field to start with; it was he who transferred over the contracts that belonged to Bad Ass Billy Gunn, A-Train, Road Dogg Jesse James, Test, and Sid Vicious in the first place.
Two of those men are slated to face-off in our first matchup of the evening, so let’s get to it!
Results:
1. Sid Vicious defeats Road Dogg Jesse James in a Singles match to advance to the semifinals.
2. Glen Jacobs defeats Road Warrior Animal in a Singles match to advance to the semifinals.
3. Perry Saturn defeats The Hurricane in a Singles match to advance to the semifinals.
4. In the main event, X-Pac defeats X-Factor teammate Justin Credible in a Singles match to advance to the semifinals.[1][2]
The finish is anything but clean as the unexpected arrival of one Lance Storm provides the distraction which nets X-Pac the victory.
Could it be Storm who is the man on everybody’s minds or is something/someone else brewing in the mind of McMahon?
Notes:1. Here is a sneak preview of next week’s semifinal matches: Perry Saturn vs. X-Pac Sid Vicious vs. Glen Jacobs Winners advance to the finals of the Velocity Championship tournament in two weeks at WWE No Way Out. 2. Also, for those wondering, here is the figure that was used in the final segment: Lance Storm – Jakks WWE Unchained Fury Series 2 (TTL) From what I can remember, Storm was one of several sale items I purchased in late 2004/early 2005 from Ringside Collectibles. It was discounted to only three or four bucks back then and I couldn't pass up on the deal. Great figure!

Impact! #15
1. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho defeat The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) in a Tag Team match to determine the two challengers for Eddie Guerrero’s Intercontinental title later on tonight.
Benjamin attempts to break up the Walls of Jericho submission hold being applied to his teammate Haas, but Benoit gets the jump on him and locks in a Crippler Crossface to nullify his advances.
Both men tap as a result of their predicament, and it is suggested later by the winners that Benjamin and Haas should consider changing their team name to “The World’s Greatest Tap Team” from now on.
Needless to say, this heated tag rivalry is far from over.
2. WWE Owner Vince McMahon meets backstage with World Heavyweight Champion Triple H and Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels in his private office.
The two champs emerge from the room with smiles on their faces as it appears they have secured the rights to act as Special Enforcers for the John Cena/Ric Flair main event.
Unbeknownst to them, Orton has something up his sleeve as he follows in their footsteps with a proposal for Mr. McMahon.
The door closes behind Orton as the next segment begins...
3. The team of Rob Van Dam and Christian defeat Booker T and Edge in a No Disqualifications Tag Team match.
4. The Samoan Duo (The Rock and Yokozuna) invoke their rematch clause after last week’s shocking title defeat and the new Tag Team Champions Dude Love and Stone Cold Steve Austin willingly grant it to them.
The titles change hands once again in unexpected fashion, except this time it’s The Big Show of all people who influences the outcome.
Show drives a barbed wire 2x4 into the abdomen of Love, clearly intending to injure him.
As if it wasn’t obvious enough, Show carries with him a Cactus Jack t-shirt and lays it across the body of the man whose alter ego was responsible for putting him out of action weeks ago.
With that said, officially we can say Rock and Yokozuna defeat Austin and Love to become the new two-time Tag Team Champions!
5. A pre-taped backstage announcement by Mr. McMahon airs which states the Fatal Four Way match for the Intercontinental Championship is still on for No Way Out in less than two weeks.
He says the winner of tonight’s Triple Threat I.C. title match will walk into No Way Out as champion and defend against the likes of Booker T, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam as advertised.
Finally, he’s excited to announce tonight’s main event will feature not only HHH and HBK as Special Enforcers, but also Randy Orton will serve as Special Guest Referee in the non-title bout pitting Evolution 2.0 member Ric Flair against United States Champion John Cena!
6. Eddie Guerrero successfully defends his Intercontinental Championship against Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit in a Triple Threat match for his first title defense.
Guerrero can wipe the sweat off of his brow for one night, but the challengers will keep coming as long as the prestigious Intercontinental title belt is around his waist.
7. In the main event, Ric Flair defeats United States Champion John Cena in a Non-title Singles match.
With Orton as Special Guest Referee and two-thirds of Evolution 2.0 acting as Special Enforcers on the outside of the ring, shenanigans are bound to ensue.
Orton and Cena share several stare downs throughout the match, but Orton keeps his word and calls the match evenly.
Cena dives at Flair with a shoulder tackle in mind, but he misses and nails the referee, Orton, by mistake!
HHH and HBK surround both sides of Cena and all three members of Evolution 2.0 swarm him while Orton lay unconscious in the corner of the ring.
After downing Cena once more, HHH lifts Orton from the canvas and slaps him to wake him up.
Orton reacts instinctively and goes for the RKO, but HHH slips out of the ring at the last second.
Flair demands a count while covering a beaten Cena, and Orton reluctantly gives it to him.
Evolution 2.0 quickly escape with the win, but it stands to reason that not all nights will end like this one.
Or will they?

Afterburn #6
1. Sho Funaki returns to the wrestling world to reform Kaientai with Ultimo Dragon.{1}
The two recent signees to the Afterburn roster defeat The Fitness Club (Simon Dean and “The Elite” Chris Masters) and Crash Holly & Nunzio in a Triple Threat Tag Team match to determine new Number 1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship.
2. “The Pit” featuring “Rowdy” Roddy Piper returns this week with current International Champion Raven!
Piper introduces his special guest and offers him a stool to sit on, but his courteous act falls on deaf ears.
Raven grabs a microphone and crouches into a distant corner of the ring. He appears to be lost in thought, but then he speaks slowly into the microphone.
His words are not clearly understood, and before Piper has the opportunity to make sense of his ramblings, Rene Dupree hits the ring and demands Raven speak up for the sake of Piper.
“Tell me, Mr. Piper, are you still experiencing hearing loss from the beating I gave you last week?” Dupree says without a hint of remorse, “or is that just another excuse the elderly give to justify their incompetence?”
Piper swings and misses on a hard left to Dupree, and in return he eats a stiff boot to the jaw from his nemesis.
The cheerful Frenchman debuts his “French Tickler” dance before the world, but more importantly he does so over the outstretched body of Mr. Piper.
Raven looks on in pure apathy, with no vested interest either way, and so he bows out of the ring to take another seat at ringside for the next match.
3. American Phenom successfully defends his Cruiserweight Championship against Chavo Guerrero in a Singles match for his third title defense.
Despite overcoming the odds in last week’s Gauntlet match, Chavo cannot maintain his composure with Raven in AP’s corner and he too fails to conquer the Cruiserweight champ.
4. John “Bradshaw” Layfield defeats Bret “Hitman” Hart in a Singles match thanks to interference by Bret’s former teammate Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.
“Anvil” comes equipped with a pipe wrench which he uses on Bret to render him unconscious and cost his estranged brother-in-law a coveted Singles win.
5. Kane defeats Dave Batista in a Singles match to earn a title shot against his brother The Undertaker for the upcoming One Night Only pay-per-view event.
Batista’s sudden accumulation of ring rust in his brief time away from the ring does not bode well for him as Kane dissects Stephanie McMahon’s confidant with relative ease.
6. In the main event, Undertaker successfully defends his World Heavyweight Championship against “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan in a Singles match for his second title defense.
Duggan charges at the champion from a three-point stance, but The Undertaker counters with a Chokeslam followed by a Tombstone Piledriver for the quick victory.
With their two wins tonight, it appears the former Brothers of Destruction are on a collision course that is destined to conclude at One Night Only in just three short weeks.
The steady stream of challengers and opposition from management suggest the path is far from clear, but never has a rematch meant more than this one does for Kane and his brother, the World Heavyweight Champion, The Undertaker.

Velocity #16
In less than one week at the No Way Out pay-per-view, the fate of the very first Velocity Champion will be decided.
Four participants remain in the inaugural tournament, and the selection of the Final Four combatants on last week’s show included the unexpected arrival of one Lance Storm.
Storm is here again this week and he is expected to issue a challenge to his former ECW/Impact Players teammate Justin Credible.
For reasons only known to him, Storm interfered in the outcome of Credible’s tournament quarterfinal match last week against current tag team partner X-Pac.
What could have inspired such a calculated attack? We’ll find out tonight.
But first, we begin with the first of two semifinal round matches in the Velocity Championship tournament.
Results:
1. Glen Jacobs defeats Sid Vicious in a Singles match to advance to the finals.[1]
2. Lance Storm, with his typical stoic demeanor on full display, approaches the ring in casual attire with a microphone in hand.
If one were to look for an explanation for Storm’s actions last week, they wouldn’t have much to work with in the wake of Storm’s appearance tonight.
He simply states that Credible should have known by now that he would do whatever it takes to get his own name out there, and so be it if that includes making an example out of his former tag partner.
“I don’t know what his intentions are from this point forward,” Storm says calmly, “but I was brought here to make an impact and that’s exactly what I’ve done.”
He challenges Credible to a one-on-match, a Ladder match, for next week’s show to determine the first Number 1 Contender to the brand new Velocity champion, whomever that may be.
Storm doesn’t hesitate to accept his own challenge in Credible’s absence, on Credible’s behalf, in front of a perplexed crowd of onlookers.
3. Perry Saturn defeats X-Pac in the second of two semifinal round Singles matches to advance to the finals.[2]
4. In the main event, The Basham Brothers (Danny Basham and Doug Basham) defeat The Superheroes (The Hurricane and Rosey) in their debut Tag Team match.[3]
Notes:1. Jacobs' move set was likely similar to that of Kane since I was using one of his figures, but I can't remember anything of note about him in his matches. 2. X-Pac seemingly had the road paved for him to get to the finals after Storm's involvement last week, but he did not account for Saturn's aggressiveness along the way and it cost him. 3. Here are the debut figures that were used in the Tag Team match: The Basham Brothers (Danny Basham and Doug Basham) - Jakks WWE Adrenaline Series 10 2-Pack (RA)

Impact! #16
1. Vince McMahon says overlooking your opponent is never a good idea, but occasionally it does happen in WWE.
He’s seen it countless times when a champion overestimates his or her standing on the card then falls prey to a trap which can lead to an embarrassing non-title loss, or worse, a title change.
A tragic occurrence such as this can be prevented, but only if the offending party spots the warning signs in advance.
For instance, be wary of scheduling, such as having to defend your title one last time before a big pay-per-view match.
He says that is exactly what Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels will face tonight when he defends his title for the very first time against The Rock!
Fellow Evolution 2.0 member Triple H will be in action, but his World Heavyweight title will not be up for grabs against Edge.
Instead, Hunter will be working the undercard, a move McMahon says will undoubtedly eat at The Game, but he’ll have to be ready if he doesn’t wish to be humiliated on live TV!
The Number 1 Contender for Triple H’s title, Randy Orton, will kick things off for us tonight, so stay tuned for all of this and more as the night of potential upsets gets under way!
Results:
2. Randy Orton defeats Shelton Benjamin (of The World’s Greatest Tag Team) in a Singles match.
Orton capitalizes on a mistake made by Benjamin, effectively countering a top rope diving attack for an explosive RKO finish!
3. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho defeat The Dudley Boyz in a Tag Team match.
The Canadian Cripplers inch ever closer to a Tag Team title opportunity against the champs, The Samoan Duo (The Rock and Yokozuna), after submitting Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley in a showdown of two of WWE’s toughest teams.
4. Booker T defeats one-half of the Tag Team Champions, Yokozuna, in a Singles match.
Booker stealthily evades Yoko’s Banzai Drop attempt by jumping to his feet and surprising Yoko with a second-rope Bookend for the win.
Now, it’s on to the Fatal Four Way match at No Way Out for the Bookman who is eager to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship from Eddie Guerrero.
His task will not be an easy one since he also has to fend off Rob Van Dam and Rey Mysterio if he wants to become WWE's first two-time I.C. champ.
5. World Heavyweight Champion Triple H defeats Edge in a Non-title Singles match.
The Game narrowly edges out his opponent, no pun intended, and now both men await their opponents for No Way Out. Hunter’s battle with Orton for the World Heavyweight title is well-publicized and there is more to come on this later, but it is Edge who will endure a grueling Falls Count Anywhere match against former tag partner and best friend Christian.
6. The Big Show defeats Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Singles match.
An uncharacteristically ruthless Dude Love chases down Show after the match for costing his team the Tag titles on last week's Impact.
Show gets away just in time to avoid a 2-on-1 beat down at the hands of the now-former Tag Team Champions.
7. In the main event, Shawn Michaels successfully defends his Undisputed Championship against the other half of the Tag Team Champions, The Rock, in a Singles match for his first title defense.
HBK manages to hold on to his title with the help of outside interference from Evolution 2.0 stablemate Ric Flair.
Triple H walks down the aisle and joins in on the post-match celebration which gets cut drastically short by Orton and United States Champion John Cena.
Hardly a word is spoken between the five men in the ring, and with No Way Out just around the corner, it seems the time for talking has officially ceased; now it’s time to go to war.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Afterburn #7
1. Stephanie McMahon appears by her lonesome with much anticipated news of the card for “One Night Only” in two weeks’ time!
She says Kane and The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship has not yet been signed, but the solo performances of both monsters over the next two weeks will certainly be a determining factor.
If either is to lose in their next match prior to Afterburn's first ever special event, Ms. McMahon emphatically states the sure-fire blockbuster of a match will be thrown out!
However, some matches that can be confirmed include: Bret Hart vs. Jim Neidhart, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper vs. Rene Dupree, Raven and American Phenom vs. The Brood, and so much more!
She says it will be the night to end all nights, and there’s no question that Afterburn will make their mark on the pro wrestling landscape when it’s all said and done.
2. La Resistance (Rob Conway and Sylvain Grenier) successfully defend their Tag Team Championship against Kaientai (Sho Funaki and Ultimo Dragon) in a Tag Team match for their first title defense.
Grenier exploits the positioning of the referee during a pin attempt of The Dragon; the extra advantage gained from grabbing hold of the middle rope works to perfection and the champs retain.
The Fitness Club (Simon Dean and his perfect specimen Chris Masters) observe from the top of the entrance ramp; it looks as if they’ve just come from a lengthy workout of their own, or possibly another of Dean's infamous infomercial shoots, but the prospects of a title change (which did not materialize) apparently could not be missed.
3. Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart defeats Rikishi in a Singles match.
Anvil picks up a hard-fought victory against the ever ready and present ‘Kish, but he appears visibly shaken while exiting the ring.
Bret Hart hits the scene and begins putting the boots to his exhausted brother-in-law at ringside. All the while, he badgers Neidhart about his relative lack of conditioning and says there is no way he will be able to hang with “The Excellence of Execution.”
4. Raven successfully defends his International Championship against Rene Dupree in a Falls Count Anywhere match for his second title defense.
Though he may have been a man of few discernible words last week, Raven more than makes up for it with a vast array of holds and cunning escapes which utterly confuse the young, brash Dupree.
5. “Macho Man” Randy Savage defeats “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper in a "Classics" Fatal Four Way match.
Savage comes away with the win after dropping a flawless elbow off the top rope onto Roberts to the amazement of the crowd.
6. In the main event, Kane defeats John “Bradshaw” Layfield in a Singles match.
JBL squanders multiple opportunities to put away Kane, instead showboating to the crowd, and it costs him when his mock attempt at a Tombstone Piledriver is reversed.
The wealthy businessman gets dropped on the top of his skull, and it’s safe to say after tonight JBL’s stock has plummeted.
Meanwhile, Kane’s star continues to shine bright.
With his sights set on the World Heavyweight Championship, Kane blitzes through his competition and leaves his opponents, as well as the surrounding ringside area, awash in a fiery glow.

Before we get on with the results, here are photos of my No Way Out 2005 entrance setup, circa February 5, 2005. Cardboard, construction paper, Scotch tape, VHS tapes and various Jakks parts would become staples of my entrance setups in the months/years to come. It was often one of my favorite activities associated with running a figure fed, and I'm just glad I still have a record of most of them. As crude as the structures were, I love 'em all the same because I know they came from a place of creative expression much like the fed itself. No Way Out (PPV #4) – Dated February 6th, 2005 (7:30 to 9:30 PM ET) [1]1. Christian defeats his former tag team partner and best friend Edge in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Surprisingly, both competitors are willing to shake hands after putting each other through hell for weeks dating back to Impact! #6. Could we be seeing signs of a truce between these two hated rivals? 2. Glen Jacobs defeats Perry Saturn in the Velocity Title Tournament Final to become the new Velocity Champion! [2]Since making his debut at Velocity #11, Jacobs has gone on to beat the likes of A-Train, Road Warrior Animal, Sid Vicious and former U.S. Champion Perry Saturn to be crowned champ of the Velocity brand. Taking into consideration his undefeated streak, what could be next for the bright young upstart? 3. Booker T defeats Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam in a Fatal Four Way match with the assistance of a debuting Bill Goldberg to become the new two-time Intercontinental Champion! [3]Speaking of “What’s next,” Booker T is asking himself the same thing after he wins the I.C. title with the help of one of WCW’s formerly great talents, Goldberg. What could his reasoning be for wanting to lend Booker T an extra hand? Could it have something to do with their past in World Championship Wrestling? 4. The World’s Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas) defeat Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho in a bonus Tag Team match to determine new Number 1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship. Both teams vie for a future title opportunity, but it is the self-proclaimed "World’s Greatest Tag Team" who come out on top in a sloppy affair. Miscues cost Benoit and Jericho dearly in a match that they absolutely needed to win. Afterwards in a shocking display, Jericho hammers Benoit across the back of the neck with several vicious forearms signifying the end of a once fruitful partnership. 5. Triple H successfully defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton in a Singles match for his second title defense. Undisputed Champion Shawn Michaels and fellow Evolution 2.0 stablemate Ric Flair make their presence known throughout, and Orton simply cannot overcome the 3-to-1 odds stacked heavily in their favor. In recent WWE history, Orton has been the only challenger to Triple H’s World Heavyweight title and both attempts to claim the ultimate prize have been unsuccessful. For all of the planning that went into this match, it didn’t pay off for Orton and he once again walks away the loser; his bitter rivalry with Triple H has suddenly come to an impasse this close to WrestleMania, and it’s anyone’s guess where we go from here. 6. Two of Mick Foley’s alter egos, a returning Cactus Jack and a departing Dude Love, team with Stone Cold Steve Austin to defeat the trio of The Big Show and the Tag Team Champions The Samoan Duo (The Rock and Yokozuna) in a Non-title Six-Man Tag Team match. Just as he did for the Royal Rumble, Foley dons two different disguises in his plan to exact revenge against The Big Show. It was at the Rumble that Dude Love premiered and single-handedly eliminated Show, but the problems between these two actually stem from a match at Impact! #9 when Cactus Jack's reckless behavior resulted in an injury to The Big Show. It doesn’t seem as if their feud is going anywhere anytime soon, and after all WrestleMania is just around the corner... Elsewhere, the seeds have been planted for another possible WrestleMania match between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin. A stare down in the center of the ring during tonight’s match elicits such a response from the crowd that these two would be crazy not to want to tap into that one more time. 7. In the main event, John Cena becomes the first dual champion in recent memory when he successfully defends his U.S. title against Shawn Michaels in a Undisputed/United States Championship Unification match for his third U.S. title defense. The final sequence of the match sees Hunter crouch by the ring steps in anticipation of an Irish Whip attempt to Cena into the turnbuckle. He cradles his World Heavyweight title in the crook of his arm and strikes quickly with it while Ric Flair distracts the referee. Unfortunately for all three members of WWE’s most dominant faction, Evolution 2.0, Cena reverses the move and sends Shawn flying back first into Hunter’s solid gold belt. Cena grabs the title from Hunter and nails both him and Flair with it to clear off the ring apron. He then proceeds to FU “The Heartbreak Kid” into the mat and pins him to win the Undisputed Championship.
PPV Notes:1. Here is a link to the printouts that were used for my No Way Out 2005 entrance setup (Dated February 5, 2005) - No Way Out 2005 printoutsAs you can tell from the date at the top of this post, I held my No Way Out event one day later at roughly the same time as Super Bowl XXXIX. I don't remember watching the game closely, but I know that I was rooting against the Patriots and was disappointed yet again when they won. 2. Forgive me if I've posted this before and can't remember, but here is a link to a printout of the Velocity Championship belt I used for my fed - Velocity Championship printout3. Here is the debut figure that was used to interfere in the Intercontinental Championship match - Goldberg – Jakks WWE Ruthless Aggression Series 4 (RA) - Variant with silver logo on back of trunks I remember buying this figure fairly cheap from Ringside Collectibles in either late 2004 or early 2005. It was only a matter of time before this excellent figure made its way into my Jakks WWE figure fed.
