I watched that Sting promo and I instantly knew there would be people complaining because Sting put over Triple H. God forbid. It was just a seed being planted for Rollings/Triple H feud. Nothing about it made any sense. Triple H cheated to win at Wrestlemania, but Sting forgives him and thinks he's a man because he shook his hand afterwards? There was zero reason to mention Hunter in that promo. It should've just been as straight-forward as "I want the one title that I haven't held my entire career" and leave it at that. It was pretty obvious Sting was planting the seed of doubt into Seth's mind. Seth will get paranoid causing the rift between them. Seems pretty strait forward. |
