I want to talk about Sting's hair. Have you seen the picture of him on the website homepage saying he's confirmed for Raw? His hair is extremely thin! And, do we even need to talk about this?:  Why can't he grow it longer and wet it like Undertaker did until he shaved it all off? Or cut it short like Undertaker's current look? He just looks so old because of it. |

I know this will rock people's world here, but when you get old, your hair receeds, gets thin, and doesn't grow as long or as quickly.
THAT'S WHY
He also bleached his hair like crazy for a decade. It takes a toll.

T R W is correct on everything he said. Look at Ric Flair's hair. From years of bleaching it (I don't think he does anymore, I think it's just white now from being old) Flair's hair has thinned crazy fast where 20 years ago he had thick blonde hair. Sting spent at least from 1985 - 1995 bleaching his hair. If you look back then you can see his hairline regressing and I think that's why he grew it long then, to cover up the noticeable hairline regression. Then the 'crow' gimmick started and it worked perfect for him. When Sting's hair is wet and slicked back it's not as noticeable, but wrestling for 15 minutes - and outside at that - Sting's hair was gonna get frizzled and look like that. And he is old, we have to remember this, Sting is old now. It's not 2001 and WCW didn't just die - no matter what WWE wants us to believe. Sting spent 10 years in TNA where at first he still some what looked like the Sting of WCW. The Sting we get now is not the Sting we wanted to see in the WWE.

no, yes this does need addressing, seriously.
I get that with age comes baldness (maybe) but stuff can be done, regaine hair foam, alpecine caffeine shampoo, I think it'd be a lot better if he used something to slick his hair back and then maybe some spray to hold in in place so stop that doc martin hair from coming through.
I re-watched Mania 31 last night and I enjoyed the Sting match, made peace with him loosing, and decided he didnt look weak, but the one thing that I couldnt accept was Sting's hair. And I dont think it'll look right for the WWE champion to look so raggedy...

Got to admit I did notice his hair looked very bad. He is old, but if they are having him revive his career to go after the world title, why not just shave it off? I think he would look a lot better, and it would give him a new look that would distinguish this run from all of his others. But who am I to tell a grown man what to do with his hair?  |
