He's creating a divide between HHH and Seth Rollins. Only the internet micro analyzes what Sting said and takes it at face value. Stephanie McMahon even had to come out and explain it to the audience to make sure they weren't too dumb to pick up on it. When HHH and Seth Rollins wrestle, or the Authority just turns on Rollins, Sting's promo will make perfect sense. Not that big of a deal.
Also, for what it's worth, Sting didn't beat HHH. So him jumping into the title picture had to be somewhat justified after his first and only match in WWE was a loss. So saying Seth isn't on HHH's level is completely sensical when defending your position for a title shot in reference to the guy you couldn't beat.

Oh I get that it was mind games, but it still just felt so odd to have him basically talk up Triple H after everything earlier in the year. I thought the picture was pretty funny. Also, while HHH/Seth should be good, the fact that we're getting another "top heel Authority member is having issues with the Authority" angle is so blah.

Shame on you! You're supposed to forget everything you've seen once a new Raw airs. Why else would there be so many replays? WWE will tell you what you need to remember. Also, after watching Kanye act like a totally incoherent bumbling idiot at the VMAs, I don't ever really want to see anything regarding the Taylor Swift incident ever again.

The pic is funny. But...
As soon as Sting mentioned Triple H in a positive way, I knew the internet would be in an uproar. Had sting lost to Bray Wyatt at WM and came out last night saying how he respected him, most wouldn't bat an eye. All would be fine. But because it's Triple H, everyone is grabbing their pitchforks and torches.

I thought his promo was really good. BTW he's doing that to create animosity between Rollins and the Authority and it's working.

It was that the entire angle between Triple H and Sting felt unresolved after a crap match at WrestleMania and a dumb handshake. Had it been him against anyone and he would act like this after the match and months later, I'd be upset about it. That's just me though.

But you know how some people can be anytime Triple H is mentioned. But I did enjoy their WM match. Athletically, it would have been better ten years earlier, but for the most part I thought they told a good story. I agree it did feel unresolved though.

I think the fact that the heel authority stable angle is still, STILL going after like 2 years of just them not really being 100% heels but always kinda being dickish at the same time is so blah. Haha

Haha I hate that so much. Like, Triple H and Stephanie are both far better as heels. Just be heels. Stop doing the random face things from week to week.

The promo would have been perfectly fine if they hadn't booked WrestleMania like they did. Sting giving up on his quest for "justice" after Triple H needed all of DX to help him win doesn't really make any sense and gave no resolution to the storyline. Nobody would have taken Dean Ambrose seriously last year if he just gave up on getting revenge on Seth after losing at SummerSlam. At least they had Bray Wyatt draw him away from Seth a few months later.
There was absolutely no reason for Triple H to win at WrestleMania. If Sting had won and then came back to face Rollins and finish the job, nobody would be complaining.

I get that they're setting up for Rollins to break away from the authority but imo it made Sting look like he was praising HHH too much? Wasn't too big on that, everything else was good.
