Said it before, the DM Hogan is almost museum quality IMO.

I dig em all. Hof def my fav followed by rse hulk. E34 captures a perfect old hogan. Wish we were getting more! He's sorry wwe! Now release his figs. If anyone were to be mad about the Hogan ban, it would have to be you. You have a fantastic collection of Hogans my man. You have no idea.

They look just like him. A bald, hotdog skin jabroni. Idk why were discussing this when theres that abomination of a sculpt theyre trying to call Farooq coming soon. DM, Am made, and CAW are spot on 80s Hogan. Jakks Hogan figures have s*** lips, are bulky, and out of date like Hogan You think this scan is bad? To be the facial likeness overall trumps all of Mattel's efforts. I think that's the worst hogan head of all time. I'm not even trying to be funny or argumentative. I've always hated it. It's the only hogan head I can think of that omits his most noteworthy facial feature which is that vertical crease on his cheeks that starts a little below the middle of his eyes. Look at every picture of hogan no matter the time period and it's there. This figure also misses the mark with the shape and size of his cranium. It practically gives him a pin head when in actuality he has a rather bulbous skull. I honestly can't fathom how a person can see that scan and think it's an accurate likeness.

The jaw is too wide and undefined in comparison to the length of the chin.

I see Hulks face on that cs figure, flawed features or not. My problem with thematrel heads is that I don't see his face, just an interpretation of it. Maybe it's the paint apps, but something is always way off.
Again though, the Mattel figures are too bald for 84-85 which is how I see Hulk in my mind.

I see hogans face in the Mattel scans because the features are more detailed and accurate. The cs figure looks like some chubby cartoon character to me. What I find funny is that there's someone claiming that the biggest flaw is that they didn't give him enough hair... I mean cmon. The man has been bald since high school. Hogan himself is the only person I could see citing that as a reason to not give credit to how lifelike the Mattel representations are.

If you can't tell the difference of hair he had when he started balding until it was almost gone, you might be blind. Look at him in 84, and than in 88. Tell me there isn't a difference.

Of course there's a difference. It's just very slight. Much more noticeable (to me) is the fact that the jakks scan looks almost nothing like hogan and has a host of inaccurate facial features. I'm just surprised that you somehow see right past those flaws and the first thing you point to is that the jakks head has a few more strands of hair that better depicts an early 80's hogan. Not knocking you, I could care less what scan people prefer. It's just shocking to me.

I'm not big on any of the 80's/90's scans. I like the others though.
