I know it gets a ton of hate, but did anyone else just enjoy watching it a little bit? You had guys like Val Venis, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Orlando Jordan, The Band, The Nasty Boys.
I have been going back and watching some stuff from that era and I honestly didn't hate it at all. I found myself enjoying it. Anyone else like this era in TNA?

I hated it. It was everything I thought TNA shouldn't be.
I thought TNA should be the opposite of WWE, but here they had The Nasty Boys in 2010. I wanted to scream. It was mad and entertaining, but I don't think it was good. I hated the Nasty Boys in 1995 WCW and even then WCW was pushing it. But 2010! Come on! Young blood!
Counter it with, just before they came in Russo was actually booking some fun stuff...
I did like the Jeff Hardy heel turn actually...

That was when I first started watching TNA, and I enjoyed it a lot. Each week I wanted to watch the new episode of TNA. I'm kind of over TNA now, but when I did watch it, I found it so fun to watch.

Overall, I liked it. Either I am easy to please, or I just accept things that are given to me.
I can understand and agree about all the things that were stupid about those 3 years, but it still didn't ruin my enjoyment of it.
I do hate however how they executed the Fortune vs Immortal. Fortune's mission was to save TNA from the "tyranny" of Hogan and Bischoff and all their minions trying to destroy it from the inside. Fortune was meant to be pro-TNA, do anything to fight for it, but for many episodes, 1 or 2 members were always absent, they fought in random matches, and only occasionally fought against those in Immortal. They basically "let" Immortal run the show, and only feuded with them half-heartedly. This feud could have been EPIC. It should have involved all the titles, a power play, with high stakes. The best part was them dressing as clowns to aid Sting. But then it fizzled out. And you had Angle who feuded with Jarrett for MONTHS and was anti-Immortal, only to go and join them less than a month after beating Jarrett.
There were glimpses of great parts, and initially, like the Aces & 8s, was quite well done. But dragged on and had no real direction.
Talking of Aces and 8s, good idea, good concept, poor execution. No star power other than Bully Ray, and maybe Devon. Fizzled out.
I did like watching James Storm and Bobby Roode rise to main event status though, until Storm got shot down again.

The only positive of that era is that for a brief time we had a Monday Night War again. Though it wasn't much of a war, it was still cool to go back and forth on Monday from TNA to Raw.

No. No good. The best things about TNA were the X & Women's division. Thanks to Hogan/Bischoff both took a drastic step back. Great talent left or were misused. The whole thing was a big mistake that TNA still suffers the effects from.

Personally (and I know I'll sound dumb) but I thought RVD jumping ship to TNA would get them some viewership. He was the hottest free agent in wrestling at the time.
I loved it for the first few months. But then, it just began to seem like a bad idea. And clearly creative was showing.
In example:
Abyss was once an unstoppable monster in the company and someone I use to enjoy his gimmick. Instead he gets paired with Hogan to become......I do not even know what you would call it.

There were some moments, and actually, around the middle and a bit of the end, was quite good. Unfortunately they got off to such a horrible start that it was really hard to recover and by the time they did, they'd blown whatever goodwill they had with the TNA hardcore fan base as well as casuals. The first few weeks were brutal.
It also didn't help that Hogan almost immediately had back surgery, so he become 100X more limited in what he could contribute to TNA.

It was the best thing they had done since they were in Nashville IMO. Which was completely different from each other oddly. I use to enjoy the Wed night shows greatly but when they would randomly get 1 WWE guy to come in and push him to the moon (Christian, Jeff Hardy) it just killed it for me. At least with the Hogan/Bisch era while they filled it with old WWE guys it gave it a more nostalgic feeling instead of the "Hey TNA lifer, I know you've been here forever but you're gonna job to this WWE mid card guy"

It was kind of fun in the beginning. I mean I knew bringing in the older guys was probably going to be bad for the company in the long run but it was fun before it fell apart. At one point you had Hulk Hogan, Sting, the Outsiders, Jeff Hardy, RVD and Kurt Angle working with guys like AJ Styles, Beer Money and Samoa Joe. There was a lot of potential there, if they were used better.

I loved it! but it was the beggining of the steep decline since though :/.. they are trying waaaayyy to much to be like WWE since this... when before thy arrived they were doing their own thing..

I actually enjoyed the hype of the Hulk Hogan / Eric Bischoff Era in TNA. I also enjoyed the hype of the WCW / ECW Invasion and look how that turned out.
A few things I liked about it, storyline-wise, are:
January 4, 2010 – I didn’t watch Raw live that night. With the appearances of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Ric Flair, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, X-Pac, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy, and Mr. Anderson, there was excitement in the air. I had that “Monday Night War” feeling again…even if it was for just that night.
Fourtune – I love the Four Horsemen. Initially, I thought this was a great way for TNA to pay tribute to the greatest Stable of all time. I always found it funny how Ric Flair compared A. J. Styles to Arn Anderson, Kazarian to Barry Windham, Bobby Roode and James Storm to Ole Anderson and Tully Blanchard and Desmond Wolfe to Lex Luger…only for the new “Lex Luger” to be kicked out of the group. I didn’t really like the addition of Douglas Williams and Matt Morgan to the group, but I did like the addition of Christopher Daniels.
Immortal – I liked this Stable for what it was. In the beginning, it was like a combination of the New World Order and the Main Event Mafia. After all the turns and swerves, it just took out the Main Event Mafia feel to it, completely became a new New World Order, and I just lost interest.
I think both of these factions should never have formed an alliance.
