I think the problem isn't JYD, but the series. Several series came out in short order, and E33 is still having figures arriving in stores. I just saw some Bluetistas at Walmart the other day which hadn't been there for the last few months.
The JYD's will likely all sell off in time. As long as they don't have t be clearanced, it'll be ok.
As for another, I'm fine with what we have. I might consider getting one in red tights, but I'm not too worried about it. I just hope this doesn't hurt us getting other 80s stars. For one thing, I want all of the people who were on the Rock n Wrestling Cartoon.

If they do go on major clearance, I'll buy a second, why not...

JYD was in the 2004 HOF for the WWE.
So I could see a red tights version being released by Mattel down the road for their HOF exclusive line.

Good figure. Way too overly produced. How many did they make? How many did they sell? What? Oh you don't know? You mean you gauged the worldwide success of the figure based on 2 of 10000 global stores? You are a market oracle!!!!

Figure is great! I picked one up. Don't think we'll get a 2nd anytime soon. Maybe a red in basic form well down the line.

I love JYD, CHOMP...
I don't really want another figure of him though.
I think we're done.

I think this was a spot on figure in every regard. The sculpt is perfect, the accessory is essential, and the details on the tights couldn't be better. It's a shame he was a huge pegwarmer, but at least it gave me several chances to finally pick one up, and I'm glad I did. They could do a red tights version for the HoF or a basic, but I'd be okay if this was the only one recently.

He really isn't a big enough name to warrant a second figure. A red one would warm twice as worse as the white one. What? Behind Hulk Hogan, JYD was pretty easily the most popular guy during the Rock 'n' Wrestling boom. Most current WWE stars WISH they could get the reaction JYD typically got from crowds of that era.

I think the problem of so many JYD's is they started doing a "Best Of" series and put him in it. But the people who want JYD aren't enough to warrant a re-release in a Best Of series, so dude is just chillin' in stores. Months later. Like JBL and DX HHH.
