I have no major problems with the Bella Twins. They aren't the best, but they are far from the worse. Really I don't care who has the longer reign because I'm sure it'll surpassed soon enough by someone far more talented then either of them. Besides AJ is gone, and WWE doesn't owe her anything. No reason to change plans or to do anything to preserve her record. Plus I'm sure the fans are far more worried about it than AJ herself is. I agree. The fans are the ones that are blowing this way out of proportion. I couldn't care less if AJ keeps the record or if Nikki breaks, I'm not the biggest fan or hater of either lady. They are both fine to me. Fans who keep saying how much better AJ's reign was and how WWE BETTER NOT have Nikki break that record are the ones that annoy me more. And in 5 years or so, another diva will come along to break that record anyway. I don't see why people are so worked up about this. Once Sasha wins the title, I could see her passing them both. |

Are you serious... Or are you being sarcastic... A.J was facing girls every single PPV, on RAW's every now and then and hell even on the UK tour faced Nattie on Main Event! A.J probably did the most title defences that horrible pink Barbie accessory has ever seen. But seriously the Women's Championship looked a trillion times better and has actual prestige.
AJ defended her belt 13 times. Come the Charlotte match, it will be 12 times for Nikki. Do you know A.J defended it 13 times exactly? |

Because AJ was an Internet darling, and Nikki isnt. I have waited for well over a year for somebody to say that here. The IWC gets really offended when people put their internet darlings on blast. Much like how people got offended when I said a ton of negative things on AJ Lee. Those AJ Lee Fanboys need to realize that she isn't there, her record reign is close to being broken, and accept the fact there are women who can out wrestle her. If a match between Sasha Banks or even a Becky Lynch against AJ, Banks or Lynch would make AJ their bitch. |

I have no issue of Nikki Bella breaking AJ Lee's championship reign, I am sorry to say and I am gonna get some heat for this but everyone here is still on the AJ Lee bandwagon. Championship reigns and every streaks are made to be broken. I for one agree with you. AJ's title reign sucked too with boring matches and feuds. |

Nikki will become the longest reigning Divas champion just to stick it to AJ and Punk. I have a feeling wwe will do this to punk too by having guys hang on to the wwe title for awhile. |

I don't think anyone gave much thought to the idea when it was decided to give Nikki the championship. I'd believe that somewhere around the halfway point to now a writer brought up the idea in a meeting about leaving the belt on her long enough to promote her holding the title the longest. I can't remember the last time a long title reign was talked about before Punk's. I always remember them talking about Bruno and Backland, and they showed that graph on Raw during the time Punk was a face. Maybe the year Nash held the belt? Either way, it doesn't happen often because it requires a successful title defense at Wrestlemania, and between that and the money in the bank stipulation, I just can't imagine the writers actively working on a way for someone to beat his streak. |

Pretty sure another stat is wrong as well but can't remember which one. |
