I don't know if this was ever shown in the US but it took place 1 week before Over the edge and was the first time I ever went to a WWE event. At the time I loved and was super excited because it was my first WWE experience.
However I recently rewatched it and it is still good but has aged.
The whole PPV was basically the WWE vs the Corporate Ministry and they interfered in every match but in the main event they interfered again but every guy they screwed came out and got revenge on them which was fantastic and a huge mark out moment for me.
Now HHH I believe Debut his trunks for the first time ever at that event aswell and I also remember them teasing the British Bulldogs return which got me super excited.
Their were some bad bits like Droz Vs Steve Blackman. I was a fan of both those guys but that match however was boring and long and I feel that the match had no real place on the card. The rest of the matches were good and enjoyable.
Another problem was that half of the roster was missing. The Rock Vince Road Dogg Jeff Jarrett Owen Hart Ken Shamrock Big Show Too Much Hardy Boyz Al Snow Hardcore Holly Test
Were those guys doing a different show? because I remember being so disappointed that The Rock and Road Dogg weren't there.
What do you guys think of the show? For me it will always be special since it was my first time seeing the WWE live.

I always thought it was weird they had 2 No Mercy PPVs in 99. I obviously prefer the 2nd one that featured the E&C vs Hardys Tag Team Ladder Match but overall I also enjoy the UK event. The last 3 matches (Shane vs X-Pac, Mankind vs Mr. Ass and HHH vs Austin vs Taker) are solid.

It's definitely one of the better UK PPV's.

It was the first VHS I owned from the WWF so it has nostalgic value to me. It isn't a good watch these days though.

This was the first show I watched where I really fell in love with WWF. From what I remember, there was a house show in America the same night which is why so many guys were missing from the show.
I absolutely loved The Ministry & the lead up to the Shane McMahon & Xpac feud. Just an awesome time to fall in love with wrestling.

I re-watched this PPV on the Network not too long ago. I was amused at how they mashed together some clips and lines of audio from previous shows to make it as if the Triple Threat main event had actually been built to on TV.
