I wouldn't mind face Rusev & Lana vs. heel Ziggler & Summer.
Rusev can be the Bulgarian Badass, people continue to cheer Lana, Summer is Summer and Ziggler gets a much needed change of pace from floundering, awkward babyface who'll never see the main event.

The angle is a mess. The interesting addition of Zigglers "affair" with Summer Rae does set up the inevitable Rusev/Lana reunion.
They should have never split them in the first place. WWE got overzealous and rushed Lana into pairing with Ziggler following the positive crowd response she began to generate at live shows.
If they had any sense, they would have kept Rusev and Lana together for as long as possible, using Rusevs womanising ways to generate a hell of a lot of heat since everyone loved Lana (a bit like Jarrett/Debra in 1999, but with less stripping). Instead they've gone for the not so suttle rushed approach, and now we're getting fed up of seeing all of them. Idiots.

In the end I thought it was going to be Ziggler/Summer vs Rusev/Lana but now I'm not sure how it will work since Lana got hurt.

I don't see why Lana can't keep the feud going, just have her wrist hard casted. Shane Douglas wrestled with a casted broken wrist for months in ECW. I think they should use the broken wrist in the story, it gives the story a more realistic approach. It's a simple write in and fliming, just set up a camera and have Summer Rae show up to the training center and "break"her wrist to keep her away from Dolph.
Man, where is Vince Russo when you need him. This is golden oppertunity for this story and they don't even see it.

Rusev's been comedy gold in this storyline. BUT, I don't want to see him end up like Big Show and Kane, so YES, put him and Lana back together.

I don't think so honestly. Seems like Summer will help Rusev CRUSH at NOCs as an apology and then Lana will do a run-in type of deal to help Ziggler when she's healthy and can have the mixed tag match. That match is going to happen. It likely just got pushed back a PPV. Rusev and Lana getting back together seems like wishful thinking since Rusev has top heel potential and Lana is the most over female on the roster now. Although, I would argue Rusev's ceiling is a lot lower without Lana as his mouthpiece if I'm being honest.
I don't know. I think everyone here is getting so hung up on this whole feud for no reason. Ziggler and Rusev are great and they have chemistry because of their styles and if I get to look at hot legs the whole time then so be it. I like getting feuds and this is one of the few we're getting. Sure it's not perfect and it's been awkward at times but it's still better than seeing Ziggler and Rusev out there 3 PPVs in a row for no reason, which is exactly what has been going on with Orton and Sheamus, just as an example.
