PJ Clash of the Champions 1 Sting is all sorts of great! But didn't he have the old style scorpion design that was more elongated on his leg rather than poised to strike? Also, with the LOD boots how's the height differential? It was longer with the claws on the top a red stinger on the bottom. It seemed more skeletonish. (Is that a word?) lol I had painted it on first, but the paint wasn't showing up very well on the black legs so I went with this decal. I thought the height was pretty close to the black attire. I will try and take a pic of these two, the B62 conversion and the GAB figure together later today. Damn it I'm Jakks...it looks like the Triple H torso makes them taller than the GAB and HoF Macho torsos. I didn't check with the GAB the Austin torso fixup, but I think that is just slightly taller (if anything) than the standard stock GAB figure.   not the torsos causing you the height problem. definitely the legs. |

Is it a new mold or something? How much modding was required? I'm really digging the fixups. |

Yeah Pillman's shins are shorter. So that would shorten him, but I thought they looked to thin. I might just keep them as is.
For the boots I cut out the ring that is in the boot wide and deep enough that it fits the notch on the bottom of the elite calf.

Anybody have any suggestions on an elite base/torso for a Jeff Jarrett? I'm trying to find someone that matches the same skin tone as Road Dogg and with the Terry Funk torso. The only figure with the funk torso with the skin tone like the Road Dogg is David Hart Smith. Thank you so much for getting back to me! I was looking at my DH Smith when I posted the question, but was hoping to find a figure that's less in value; I may just pick up a Bo Dallas as an alternative instead. |

Been practicing painting some more. Aries is complete, but Daniels and Kazarian are works in progress.

Cesaro works surprisingly well as Daniels. What head are you using for Kazarian? Aries looks legit. They all look great so far. |

I agree, torsos in the same family (i.e. ripped, medium, small etc.) are the same size, only difference is in skin colour. It's the thighs, knee discs and shins that are the usual suspects for height differentials. You used LOD Hawk legs for Clash I Sting and he is extremely tall because of the tall red boots and legs. I noticed that the other day when I had LOD Hawk next to DM Hogan, he was the same height if not taller, when really hawk was billed at 6'3" and Hogan at 6'8". RW Hawk doesn't have that issue. Try switching the shins for some shorter black ones to reduce the height, or change the knee discs to smaller black ones. |
