PJ the problem with the original Arn Anderson legs is that they are skinny - so it looks really bad on the bigger Magnum/Akeem cowboy boots. I have no idea why MDT didn't just repaint the Barry Windham boots, those were perfect for skinny legs. Arn Should have had these thicker stocker looking legs like Magnum has and that are on Cody Rhodes figures too. Personally I would have preferred the skinner legs for Magnum because he was lean, not stocky. And I still think he was taller than 6'1", but that might be illusion because Tully was a short guy so Magnum looked larger naturally.

Nothing too special here, was gonna go with small black knee pads then decided to use Arn's from my second horseman set.

Yeah I didn't like the way they looked with the thicker calves on Arn's body. The thighs looked extra scrawny with Magnum's calves. (pics above) so I swapped them back and just lowered the leg supports. I still might paint them a light grey at some point. As for Magnum's height I always thought he was around 6'3", but they say 6'1" I still don't understand why Arn didn't get those legs yet Dolph and Cody do. Here's both my Magnum figures with the supports lowered.

So who is going to be the first to try Magnum's boots on Windham? Cause ya know.... that'd be pretty cool of ya.

Plus, mahal is WAY to skinny. Hassan was a built dude. I'm thinking of using E22 Rock. I found a pic online of someone used a Rock basic to make a Mattel Hassan and the skin tone matched with this basic Rock in this person's photo

I'm using an actual Jakks Hassan for the head though.

I'm no expert in mens thighs but I consider Magnum T.A.'s thighs slender for his build (and he is a big guy) - my measuring stick for thick thighs are guys like Simon Gotch and Randy Orton - clearly Magnum's thighs are far leaner. After 10+ years on this forum I never thought I'd be having a conversatin like this.

I just recall his thighs looking out of proportion during a time period as a kid, but after googling images of Magnum I decided to throw in the towel. I don't want to raise any red flags once the wife checks out the browser history.

It's odd that they went with different boots. But I appreciate the pics. Cause I almost ordered two Magnum's but got cold feet. These pics helped a lot.
