Very much a novice at fix-up's
Can legs be transferred from one Elite to another without cracking? Do they come off with a boil n' pop? (almost like the Create a Superstar figures)

This is the point where I wish I'd been paying attention when people were talking about ball joint hips, haha :[ Are they pretty easy to tell apart? Kind of. If you look at the joint, the ball joint is a little more exposed while there is less of the other joint showing. It's easier to tell by feel. The ball joint hips are a little looser. |

I wouldn't. That sculpt is inferior to the basic already out. Plus, that ones not out yet. He said he's a stickler for Sting accuracy and that's not the scorpion layout he wants so he'd have to wait and buy a figure just to use a head that's not as good as the one he already spent time working on. |

I think it looks better, but its not my fixup. The other sting doesnt have ears as he said.

POOR-ly Cuyler The problem with the new basic is that it's missing the vertical lines on his lips, also not really digging that scan. The hair is also slicked back, the look I'm going for is this one.  @crashholly1997 I agree there's just something off about that scan, I'm guessing they scanned Sting in and then just added hair. @vadertime you hit it right on the nail brah! I actually want that singlet as an elite too but with the molded shoulder pads on this pic.

Ok, so anyone that knows me or has been following me knows that my holy grail is a '98 Crow Sting with longer hair and scorpion on the sides. You guys also know that I also criticize the hell out of the inaccuracies with Sting figures (he's my favorite of all time) so I've been concocting this fix up for a while in my head and now I'm finally in the process of making it. I'm not sure if Mattel will plan a release but I hope so (the new basic is from '98 but I don't like basics or that hairstyle). I literally spent about 2 hours struggling trying to remove Sting's freaking hair  .... I changed the hair on the basic, and added hawk's arm (I feel that they represent his arms better than the roided ones and the Daniel Bryan arms), now I need to dremel the head more and hopefully the hair will fit, afterwards repaint it and paint the skintone on the forehead, sides and chin/neck area. Once the HOF is released, it will be complete. PJ I ended using Bret's hair piece instead of Rollins EDIT: If you also have the wrist cuffs from the earlier elite Miz please send me a message, I'm looking for some.  Did Sting have his hair with those specific scorpions? I thought he had his hair back with those ones (Then the plain scorpions he had his hair like that). |

jcsix Yeah, check out some of his matches from 1998. He had longer hair. He alternated between having small/large scorpions on the chest, sides with no detail and detail and last but not least, singlets without any scorpions at all. I've watched too many Sting matches lol, so I have to look for a specific ones. Here's one, but the scorpions were a little smaller:
