Here's my prince puma While I would argue that is definitely not a "fix-up" (admittedly, many that are posted here aren't simple fix-ups and probably should be in the customs board but it's not worth making a deal about it at this point cause people are comfortable with it), that is pretty dang cool. Good work!

What are your guys thoughts on putting Big Cass basic arms and head on a Sid elite?
Skin tones dont match up but are pretty close. I am gonna try it tomorrow I am having trouble getting the arms and head out and gonna boil water tomorrow instead of just running it under hot water.

I have a custom elite chris benoit i bought off ebay awhile ago. I am pleased overall but i have one thing i would like to change. It appears to be made from an elite legends series 1 ricky steamboat. I would like to swap the torso for something more appropriate.
I have a tru exclusive debut john cena would that torso be a good swap? If not, what would? I appreciate any and all suggestions

Elite Legends 1 Steamboat shares the tan skintone of like Ryder/Miz/Ziggler types. The only figure I can think of that has that skintone and a Funk-style torso is DH Smith, and that figure seems to me to be too expensive to use for a custom at this point.

So just use the arms that come with a austin or funk lol Not all that complicated

Made the skin match by using shoe polish on the face, sculpted the hair transitions and painted Also made this maybe for eBay, posting a bunch of stuff there shortly

While on the subject of skin tones, are there any lists of Mattel flesh paints out there. I'd really like to get paints for me to work on. Any suggestions?

I've always wanted a black attire Steamboat. When he feuded with Muraco in the early 80's, he wore black a lot. He actually wore tabi boots at the time, but I thought his Legends 1 boots looked good. This was my first torso crack. Not 100% happy with how it went because I stressed the neck, but for a display only figure, I'm glad to add it to my collection. Made with L1 Animal legs and the rest is L1 Steamboat.

Shoe polish is pretty easy but can be frustrating, Rub it on, rub it off. The hard part is getting the polish out of all the nooks and crannys. I use kiwi brown polish and it helped match a lot of tones for me so far
It works well on soft plastics like legs or heads , I'm not sure how it works on hard plastic like torsos

God bless theDean for that shoe polish trick. I have used that technique a few times since he first mentioned it. And that Sid looks good.
