Bandy - here's a better pic of bulldog with SIDS torso  Sid justice -   Other than a few minor tweaks to the hair and kneepads logos, I'm pretty happy with this, I lowered his eyebrows a little bit too. I think I'm going to add the bottom of the leg sleeve to the bottom of the blue kneepads now and call it quits on this fix up Edit; Much better   |

Awesome job Apoc. Another example of what seems to be a bad scan but is actually just a bad paint job by Mattel. Also I want to make a white attire steamboat like the one in the back of your pics. What's the best way to accomplish that. I hate painting white. Thanks in advance. Much better |

Good question lablack If you have to paint white, I suggest watering down your paint and painting a bunch of layers but let's go with the paint less recipe Mine is the d.m steamboat with rsc hbk tights and the basic shins/boots. If you want a full elite then I suppose it could work with sin caras lower legs, don't quote me on the size but it might fit well, but then you would need to paint the red sock stripe and I don't think the basic boot would fit on the elite shin without modification. I went with the easy and paint less option.  |

That Sid scan looks wayyyy better with the longer hair and with his hair color being more of a brighter blonde. I'm gonna have to do that fixup and paint Hogan's tights black.

I didn't go quite so far modifying my Sid, but I did paint his hair blonde and imho it makes a big difference.

I've always been a fan of the psycho guy so I've tried my hand at fix-ups of him in the past. That's left me with these three figures that I think of as: - ECW Sid (Toybiz? head/HBJ torso/tall jeans - it's a mashup that has been done and redone several times over the years - doesn't matter now that we have an official Sid) - Classic WWE Sid (Jakks head/Bruno body/Harper arms/tall boots - he's a little thick imho but it helps hide that the Jakks head is rather large) - Monday Night Wars WCW Sid (E39 with hair painted blonde)  |

It looks so much better with blonde hair. I think re painting the eye brows would help. The orange color stands out to much now with blonde hair. Thanks for the pics

Thanks spooky and I agree with you
Many times when the scan is being complained on , it's just because the paint app is off slightly. I've repainted Andres eyes and made the head look better, papa shangos eyes (pictured above) , DDP etc etc
Sometimes for whatever reason the heads turn out weird and they can be made to look pretty damn awesome with some new paint

Yup! I definitely agree about the crappy paint jobs on the head. @apocalypse you did a great job repainting the head, it looks 100 times better. The only problem imo is that the smile looks like it's stapled shut instead of natural smile.

Poc sid looks totally dope brotha I really dig it! Great job on the hair! I really dig this bc in addition to this being his Hasbro Sid Justice attire, this is also the exact attire he wore in the most badass tag team of all time...The Masters of the Powerbomb!

Wow, that Sid looks incredible now. All it needed was a better paint job. It really is amazing. I end up removing and fixing the eyebrows on nearly every figure I collect, and nearly every single time, an immediate better likeness is achieved. The smallest details make the biggest difference... |
