So this has been both a rewarding and frustrating experience making this one. Frustrating because the Lord Tensai base I used (inspired by The Warsman) is an absolute unique body sculpt, so I tried in vain to find flesh coloured hips to fit his thighs...what a money sink on my part. And Mattel doesn't have Magnum T.A.-sized cowboy boots in black, so you're looking at about 10 coats of paint and it still chips at the joints! Anyways, it was rewarding because: Nivro™ sold me the head and painted it like factory! @zombieapocalypse came through for me and painted those hips AND fixed the cracked torso PJ did me a solid with donating the blue knee pads but the shipping was insane for some reason and finally theicwguy traded with me for that Jakks tan hat - just like Hansen used to wear in late NWA/WCW real team effort. Anyways onto the pics:

Have the HBK Referee legs been used much over the years?
I'm looking to make a Nakamura with legs like that. Literally signed up for this board, just to ask this. I'm new to collecting WWE figures and I just can't live with their Naka parts.

I'm new to collecting WWE figures and I just can't live with their Naka parts. I feel you. I made this attempt not long ago, though it since has been given the Matt Hardy SummerSlam torso and the E63 head. The problem is that he ends up too short. Haven't figured out a good recipe for him yet. Fandango is a cheaper option for the legs.

Fandango sounds interesting, how many figures have they been used on?

Both fandangos and I believe the new velveteen dream are the only ones that have used those legs, but I could be forgetting someone.

Newsted Seriously though, there’s a Nikki Bella hat with spikes (b52) there’s chuck molds from AJ Lee but you would need to swap with some Carmella or Nikki upper shoe because hers are ultra high tops. Thanks. Any tips on a lower body? Butt size doesn't have to be accurate because it literally can't be, no Mattel fig is that thicc

Were you not tempted to use a dusty rhodes base for the lower legs rather than tensai or use the tensai upper on the lower legs of another wrestler with different hips?

Man that is so so cool. Were you not tempted to use a dusty rhodes base for the lower legs rather than tensai or use the tensai upper on the lower legs of another wrestler with different hips? It's pretty amazing in the fact that Mattel has put out hundreds of figures, but Tensai is unique as unique can be. So his torso wont fit flush with other tights/legs, and I didn't want to use Dusty lower half because it would make him look like he had massive tree trunk legs compared to his upper body. Lord Tensai is probably the closest mold to Stan's thickness. I've seen some Hansen customs use complete Dusty figure and it looks weird to me.

I used an old demolition figure when I did mine years ago. Looks like I have a recipe for an upgrade

Man, I can’t stand ricochet in the slightest, and think he has about as much charisma as a sack of potatoes, but Macaroni has done some incredible work on his figures. Him and AJ styles... perfect outfits for some really impressive and complex custom work. Simply amazingly executed.

Has anyone tried swapping the ultimate edition arms onto a regular elite? If so was it easily done or did it require a lot of modification?
