I can't have Rude in this attire without knee pads over his shins. Yeah the lack of knee pads on rude releases really stand out. Makes a big difference when adding them. I’ll do the same when I get that one but already added knee pads to legends

My attempt at making a more accurate Nakamura. Definitely needs some cleaning up on the belt and I'm going to swap out the forearms with a UE to get the interchangeable hands.

Best way to paint skin tones? Better to use an air brush or thin layers?
And also sealing the paint, I have the matte Mod Podge but it looks shiny compared to factory skin parts.

Airbrush is always best. But if you can't get one, yes ... many many many diluted layers.
Mr Super Clear is great for sealing. There are others as well much better than Mod Podge.
If you want it to look great, you're going to have to pay for it. Mod Podge is cheap.

Comes in Matte and Gloss.
Liquitex Professional have brushable varnishes in matte, gloss, etc.

How well does liquitex work if you have a figure fed?

Posted over in the Custom thread but this gets more traffic. What's the best solution for an Elite Taz? I can apoxie his singlet but would rather use someone with a singlet. Both Pete Dunne and Shorty G are too thin. I was thinking Papa Shango or Retrofest Duggan for the torso. Too long? The arms, legs, etc. can be fixed as can paintwork. Just trying to find the right torso. Taz custom I’m working on with duggan base. I swapped the calves out with a tully blanchard. Height comparison with a warrior I’m also working on. I think it works well. Bro I was so inspired by your post I quickly ordered a Hacksaw, some decals and got to work. One of my favorite fix ups I've ever done. This only the second time I've had to do any significant skintone work but for what I'm looking for this came out great! Thanks for the recipe!

How well does liquitex work if you have a figure fed? I mean, I wouldn't be smashing figures together or anything. But it will protect light scuffing and will protect action poses. Nothing can protect from having a match. Hell, not even factory paint.

Pretty standard Christian arm swap and a less standard torso swap. I love this torso and it works for so many people between the Bryan and Rollins torsos. I don't understand why it isn't used much more often. Also, I have a few copies of this Christian head. Has anyone else noticed it's a softer plastic like a BAF head and can be swapped without heating?

Man good to see I am not the only one who did that swap . All it needs is a fanny pack .

I’ll do the same when I get that one but already added knee pads to legends Heat up Brie Bella elite 68 knee pads so they are very flexible. They are absolutely perfect (pun intended) for all Ravishing Rick Rude elites. Btw everyone should get hip to using female knee pads on your figs. They look so much better and are way better proportioned. Anyone who likes Flair and Tully's knee pads under the knee try using black Charlotte Flair knee pads.
