How easy do UE Arms fit on Elite Shoulders? They’re exactly the same. Just heat, pop, and swap. holy crap no way? No torso cracking or modding?

Posted this Mr. T way back, but hadn’t finished the details/added knee pads at that time. One old one for size comparison to Hulk, and a couple to show the finished version before SDCC one gets released. Stripes on pants could be steadier, and the knee pads a little more uniform, but was a real earlier custom attempt I plan to leave as is, might add the chains from SDCC T though.

I found a basic purple strap IC title made by mattel. Its a non metallic version, without paint.. Does anybody know which figure this belt came with? I know the The Rock RSC comes with the purple strap metallic version. But I've never seen it as a basic version. Especially without any paint. Maybe the plates were swapped out? I've done hours of research with no luck :\

Is there an easier way to pop in knees and elbows into the pegs? I've done these before, but have no idea how I was able to successfully pull it of. Just spent the last 2 freakin hours trying pop the elbows onto the pegs and I gave up because my fingers are in so much pain.

Heat them for a minute with a hairdryer and if it’s hurting your fingers you can use a needle nose plier to push them through.

So I know my following preferences are frowned upon around these parts, but I have to be honest: 1. Other than a few select robes, I loath soft goods. I don't dress up dolls, I pose action figures baby! 2. I understand how important the Attitude Era was for the biz, but I still think it sucked. 3. I really like Velveteen Dream the performer. So I found E76 Christian today and with my Walmart gift card he was free. So I thought, "why not?!". It was a hell of a time getting that poofy pirate shirt off, and yes it pretty much rendners Dream's articulation immobile, much like his career is going: You've all seen this fix-up before. I've experimented with different parts over the years, but I think I'm settling on this Batista torso and Doink claves (for those 80s athletic socks!). The legs are on ball joints so his trucks are easily swappable: Finally, threw some small elbow pads on chase E77 Rick Rude to complete the look. Easy enough right? Wrong, what a hell of a time I had heating and stretching these damn things without tearing. My thumbs hate me now: How did you stretch out the pads for Rude? Looks awesome!

Did those already as well as put them in boiling water and the it still wouldn't go inside of the hole. I mean, I'm able to get one side in on both arms, but getting the other side in is a pain in the a and I've cut myself multiple times already. Think I'll just stop and try again tomorrow or something.

I used to (after heating) try and place a leg or arm onto the pegs which I had previously readied in its slot. The I learned that if I really really really let it soak in boiling hot water ("it" being the two body parts that I'm connecting), it is much easier to push the peg through both holes (aka all four pieces). It gets snug at the last bit sometimes so I just bite it with my teeth lol and it finishes the job. Or use needlenose pliers for the final push, lol.
I think I made sense there? The KEY is to have that rubber as bendy as can be. You can also sort of grind out a hole with the tip of needlenose pliers to make the hole a tad wider.

You don’t even have to do that. Once you have heated the parts just put the peg in one side of the upper arms (or thigh) peg holes then take your needle nose pliers and put the arm/leg in between it with one part of the pliers on the peg and with the other side of the pliers just line it up to the hole on the other side of the arm/leg and close the pliers. The one side will push the peg through the holes and the other side will stop the peg. And it won’t mark up the limbs.
