dizneyfist - He maintains the right scale. It’s merely the angle I took the picture in.

Well, I think that head is on the smaller size to begin with, but he also took the pic on an upward angle making the legs look even longer and the even head smaller.

Anyone considering using the Star Wars Black Series Koska Reeves head to mod for a Sasha? I think they nailed her likeness even better than Mattel!

Decided to try and fix the Karrion Kross elite without messing up the original height of the figure by much. Took some extra lower calves from the MITB Seth Rollins I had laying around. Plus I took decided to take the head from the elite and put it on the most recent basic Triple H to make a promo attire Kross. I would have liked to keep that head on the Elite, but it happens to sit much better on the neck peg than the basic head did. Height difference between the two figures seems comparable to their height difference in real life

Anyone who tells you these ultimate torsos are easy to crack is on that! Well I guess it all depends on how much adhesive the person who assembled the figure used. I cracked Austin and Flair to swap out the the skinny thighs/legs for the thicker style. Man, Flair’s torso was a bitch to crack. The damn thing went 12 rounds for sure. Now I remember why I stopped doing this, lol Anyhow, legs were swapped and I added the “mom” haircut head. Yes, it is modified so it is swappable and is now part of the ultimate flair head rotation. Looks awesome. What legs did you use? Also anyone know if flair actually ever wore purple tights with pink boots? I’ve never seen that combo

Good lord
Does anyone have the slightest idea where I can find a gold dress for a Marlena custom? I want to put it on the recent Miss Elizabeth Elite (with custom head) but for the life of me I can't find anywhere at all that sells something that would work. I don't know how to sew and I'm not about to sculpt an evening gown.
Any ideas? It doesn't have to be specific to an attire for her just something that she might wear.

Only thing I can think of is to use the robe/material that the Elite 47.5 Goldust came with... cut it to size, then pull it tight around the figure and fasten at the back with some clear tape. Might look pretty good, actually(!).

I got a few Warsman’s heads when he was doing his $5 sale. What do you use for the peg hole?

I was looking to slightly mod Dakota to her more current look. Any suggestions on the best paint to use for her hair? Also can someone give me an idea of legs to use to update to her shorter boots without going out of scale? She seems to be one of the few figures that is in scale right now.

I am not sure how many times he did, he seemed to wear white boots with the purple trunks a lot in the 80s, then in the 90s he wore light purple boots. Not sure why they went with the pink boots and the purple tights. I would have preferred the light purple boots, which was in the original renders, he wore those in the WWF and in WCW. I also would have preferred the purple robe that he wore with that attire as well.

Has anyone used paint markers on figures? How does it hold up on the plastic? Better to use acrylic or oil based? Want to do a simple fix up which will require adding some basic detail but would feel more confidant with a marker than a brush.

I’ve used gundam pens for black lines but I would say they smudge quite easily and you need to seal them. That said, it’s a lot easier for tricky single lines etc

You can use paint pens, but brushes generally yield cleaner results.
