Fantastic information! Are the Ultimate figures typically on ball joints? Steve Austin specifically? Austin is on ratchet joints, but can be converted: Does the Stunning Steve Austin have the same skintone as the Stone Cold figures? Yes. You beat me to it 😁

Look into the hip joints, if the "ball" part is smooth, then it's a ball joint. If it's got a ridge on it and looks like a separate part of the "ball joint", then it's ratchet. Also, being ratcheted - it will not move as smoothly when articulated. But that's usually subtle. Compare with 2 figures on the chart provided above and you'll notice the difference. Fantastic information! Are the Ultimate figures typically on ball joints? Steve Austin specifically? All new molds are ball joint, but they still use the original ratchet joints on some figures, mostly smaller wrestlers

Ok, so I accidentally bought an extra NWO John Cena and realized that the lower half would be perfect for a custom I want to make.
The problem is, I need to torso swap from the waist up. I've never torso cracked/swapped before but I really want to try it. Therefore, I have questions.
Are there any videos out there that is "Torso Crack/Swap for dummies?" or the like. And, more importantly, would it be possible to swap a basic (battle pack) torso on an elite set of legs. Specifically I want to put the suited battle pack Shane top on the John Cena legs. If this is not possible, are there any other suited-style molds of this that would work. Specifically I need an open collared shirt torso. I can easily swap the arms (from the bicep swivel down) and I can add the jacket, but I really just need an open-collared shirt torso on the John Cena jean-legs.
Any ideas?

Plenty of good tutorials on YouTube. They’ll basically all say the same thing: heat it up however you choose, get a flathead screwdriver and pry it open behind the shoulder joint slowly. Some are easier than others. It just takes time. Worth watching someone else do it first though just to get an idea. As for putting a basic torso on elite legs, I don’t know. There’s probably tutorials for that as well, but I’ve never looked.

I’ve only ever done the ratchet to ball joint conversion with male elite so I’d be curious to know if it’s the same for female figures. Which female legs are you trying to convert? I’ll see if I can take a look into doing a female ratchet conversion - Thanks!

Most likely (and obviously) Would be swapping Elite 82 Bliss legs onto her Walgreens figure...May also look into doing some Sasha swaps as well. Both are on the same "frame" so I would think if one is a certain way so would be the other.

Honestly, I've not tried that, so I couldn't give you an answer either way. I see no reason why it wouldn't work, apart from the fact that the joints on the women are a heck of a lot smaller.

Well I have plenty of spare female bodies so I'll tear into one tonight and find out. (That sounded like an opening line to Law & Order SVU)

That being said when removing the hip piece from the ratchet be careful not to cut through the ratchet piece...im now having to try and repair mine to salvage it.

Does anybody know which Jeff Hardy figure I could swap arms with on the Jeff Hardy/Triple H 2 pack figure to make an accurate WMX7 attire? If I recall from collecting before, they changed the arms on the basics so I cant get a free-be on that anymore. So Im wondering which elite arms would be the most attainable for the swap?

He had the white and black sleeves at x7 right? Elite 57, elite 84 chase, and the entrance greats figures all have them, not sure if there are any older style basics with them

Basic TRU BoPPV WM28 BAF announce table. TRU BoPPV WM ring bundled with Cena Kmart Fan Central 3 pack with Brock and Cena Basic Signature Series 2012 Those are probably all the same head tho right? There is the Big Lots Exclusive Wrestlemania 28 Ring Playset w/ Rock and Cena that was released sometime in 2021 for $25. The facescan on Rock is TrueFX with the goatee. It's hands down the best goatee scan Mattel has made to date.
