Hopefully this question makes sense. Is there a figure that has standard "wrestling boots" feet, that matches the new neon red plastic that came on the Elite 101 Roman? I'd like to swap his feet for feet that aren't heels. All of the bright red boots that come to my mind have white laces/soles that would have to be acetoned off. Retrofest Flair, UE George Steele, Red Rooster, Wolfpac Scott Hall, Typhoon, etc. Surely there must be some plain ones but I cant think of any.

I'm not worried about cleaning off any print, just that the Reds match up. I have some older parts but it was definitely a different red back then. Just need a confirmation of the reds matching before i spend any money haha

None of the torso swap suggestions are more drastic than what you did above with your Cody conversion Gluing the torso to the waist is absolutely, unequivocally a more drastic measure, lol. The torso modification is a more elegant solution, but it takes more effort and time. I was referring to you saying "such involved methods", and you talking about the usual torso swapping is about as involved as you can get - which I agree takes more effort and time. Although yes the gluing of one torso to another is hasty and unfortunately eliminates the articulation and means it could be snapped off again.

has anyone successfully put UE HHH arms on an older elite without shoulder swapping? -WMD If you mean swapping at the bicep, then unfortunately no. Plus the UE arms from the biceps down are the same as any double jointed larger arms (eg Cena, Triple H, Warrior....) so they don't need to be UE. What I've found is the peg length of the shoulder balls for single jointed HHH style arms, is too long for the socket part of these new double jointed HHH arms. Meaning you'll have a gap between the older shoulders and newer double jointed biceps. Even if you cut down the mushroom caps of the older elite HHH shoulders, it'll still be too long. This is because the length of the stem part of the peg between the shoulder and the mushroom cap/peg tip, is too long. You'd need to drill into the socket to make it deeper, which will then need the fit tightening with sculpt or something or there'll be a risk of it coming loose again. But for info - the smaller double jointed arms can be swapped onto smaller elite shoulders for single jointed arms, all that is needed usually is to cut the mushroom cap/peg tip down to a narrow tip.
