I'm glad I preordered when I did. I think Mattel hit a home run with this wave. Depending on how Ziggler, Sandow, and Sting looks, I might go for them too.

Godfather is back from what I see but no sign of Davey Boy Smith. Still happy that I jumped onboard when I did. Now to debate the barricade set, but I still would prefer the classic barricades or an old school stage (Though I am not above making my own)
Today's been a good day for RSC, and I dread to think what retailers will be like.

Glad I was able to catch this right when the Pre-orders went up. I thought that some guys in this set would sell out quick, very happy I was able to grab a Sting, Dolph, Godfather, Bulldog, and Sid. And got the barricade set as well, good day all around!

Call me crazy, but I think these will be delayed and not make the expected release date RSC is listing.
The only reason I think that is because we haven't even seen proto pics of these. Not even CGI pics. I think of all the figures in this set, the only one we saw even a glimps of at SDCC was Bulldog. They had more complete Elite figures from other sets beyond Series 39.
If they couldn't even show the gray CGI pics of the figures from Elite 39, and we haven't seen any prototype pics yet, I'm sorry, I don't think these are coming out in a month. Call me a negative Nelly, but I just feel like it's not going to happen. I think this would be the shortest time span between when a pre-order went up, and when the figures actually shipped IF it were to actually happen.....and like I said, still no pics. For these to come out in a month, they'd have to be already in the box, right? So why no prototype pics?

But this is the time of year to get product out so it will make its way to retail by Christmas. We did see godfather cgi. And bulldog should be ready. Maybe a lot of the reveals are being saved up for rsf and building excitement for Christmas. I really do hope it's true. But to your point, we saw rse hall already boxed for sale at sdcc and it should be out the same time as e39 and we only saw such raw protos (if any) of that set. |
