I'm pretty confident Owens is winning the IC Title on Sunday. Ryback has been terrible as champion. I honestly thought Ryback should have lost the title to Miz at SummerSlam but it's not like either Miz or Big Show was a great option at the time.
Regardless, I can definitely see this whole dealing lasting through the end of the year. Owens wins at NOCs, rematch at HIAC, they end up on opposing teams at SvS, and then they have a blowoff gimmick match at TLC.
After that, I'd like to think Sami Zayn will be back in order to build up a program for them leading towards Mania. I'm not sure when Sami is supposed to be back but having him return at the Rumble to toss Owens out seems like a great way to kick off the feud. Potentially have Owens screw Zayn at Fast Lane and then give Zayn the title at Mania. Probably how I'd do it. Again, all pending Sami's health.

Plus by putting the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Kevin Owens he can actually bring legitimacy to the WWE Intercontinental Championship something that that title has lacked for a very long time but I don't even think Owens could, probably the only superstars that I think could ever bring legitimacy back to the IC Title are superstars like Cena or even Orton for that matter

It's well documented that I don't like Kevin Owens, but even with that being said, I still think Ryback will go over this Sunday. I honestly don't see Owens ever hold a Title on the main roster. And if he does, then I will be the first to admit I was wrong. Lol |

I know I am going to piss off a bunch of people, but Ryback ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!
He has absolutely ZERO mic skills, and he is a mediocre wrestler at best.
The absolute ONLY thing he has going for him is the fact that he is a steroid freak with a positive message. He just reminds me of Jack Black in "Shallow Hal"... lol
Ryback is as useless as tits on a bull.

im hopping he elavates the championship. Hopefully he can have a few good programs with good workers to increase the prestige of the strap. Then when Sami Zayn returns, hopefully Owens is still champ and they can have a real personal bitter feud over the belt and bring it to new heights
