Is Owens/Cena not the highest drawing house show fued in years? I swear I've heard that recently. I believe it is. The "B" squad, led by Roman Reigns and usually Bray Wyatt, seem to be the ones with the putrid numbers. Well what do they expect when those guys haven't done anything of meaning since WM with the exception of Ambrose....

This is their own fault if they could build some stars they would have enough star power to spread over both the a and b crew

In terms of just pure in ring talent between WWE and NXT I would say their on pair or even better then during the original brand split era.

It's because WWE doesn't have any stars currently, I'm sorry but Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Bray Wyatt bore me to death. Another thing that makes a house show worse is if they end it with a tag match. -.- When I went to a house show in 2012 I got to see CM Punk vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane in the main event with the WWE title on the line.

Luther Reigns just isn't a draw I guess.

Scotland only gets 2 live shows per year and I'll only go if the card looks decent, I buy the tickets just a few days before the event. I bought NXT tickets as soon as I could after they came out.
The point I'm making is there is nothing on the live events that interest me or make me go I need to buy a ticket.

Is Rollins not working house shows? He is but he's on the "A" circuit I believe.

Is Rollins not working house shows? Is Rollins not working house shows? He is but he's on the "A" circuit I believe. Actually, Seth Rollins worked with the "Roman Reigns Crew" in this case. Here's the results from the shows mentioned in the OP:

It's a shame because the show in Edmonton was solid and I had a blast. They don't seem to advertise these a lot though. Literally the only negative is that for the fifteen billionth time I've seen R-Truth open a house show. Card was
R-Truth V Bo Dallas Curtis Axel and Damien Sandow Vs The Ascension Natalya Vs Alicia Fox Kevin Owens Vs Chris Jericho Cesaro Vs Luke Harper The New Day Vs Prime Time Players Seth Rollins Vs Roman Reigns in a street fight.
I feel like Bray would have had a match but they had to scramble the card a bit because Ambrose was in Pittsburgh for their comic con. I love house shows and the way the current televised product is, I would pick a house show over a Raw or Smackdown 10 times out of 10.

I had no idea there even was a show in Calgary, otherwise I would have gone. Better advertising may help. Yeah they dont advertise very well. I know they're usually here, in the UK, October/November time and April, but I never see or hear it advertised.

Having A and B groups only works if both are red hot. You probably couldn't fill one group with super over stars, let alone stretch two out of them.

The roster is so thin right now with legit drawing power stars, I'd say it is at an all time low at the moment. There is nobody with the exception of Cena that have any kind of drawing power. A big reason for this is because WWE refuses to build anyone up to compete with Cena. The only guy who has come close is CM Punk. The house shows are suffering because WWE is relying on part timers more than ever to sell events and they are nowhere to be found.
Basically the talent pool is like this:
John Cena (Insert part timers here) - - -- --
-- -- - - Roman Reigns Seth Rollins Dean Ambrose Bray Wyatt Ryback etc

Maine has never been a huge wrestling market, but we usually show up well for the house shows we get. Just a few years ago, we got three shows in one year (separated by two or three months a piece) and sold out two of the three. Last year, they brought different crews to Bangor and Portland (little more than two hours apart) on the same night. I would have gone to both shows (I live in the middle), but I had to choose. They split the audience and neither show sold very well at all. Now, this year, they're sending the same crew up here on two separate nights. Bangor gets Saturday with the B crew, Portland gets Sunday with the B crew. The worst part? It's the same weekend as the MSG Network Special. We're getting a watered down version of the B crew. Take a guess at how that show is selling? Not well. Exactly why I'm skipping this year. I'd rather save the money and trip and just sit home and watch the Network. Or buy more Elvis albums

That's abysmal for a Cleveland show. Never seen it like that and I've been going to shows there since 1998.
Especially embarrassing considering the Q holds 16,000-18,000 and there was an estimated 2,500 in attendance.

That's awful. I'm not sure why they run house shows in those larger arenas, though. They should be reserved for TV tapings/PPVs only.
I'm interested to see what the Bangor show looks like this weekend. They released the remaining VIP packages last week and I was able to upgrade my third row seats to front row. 3rd row and beyond is still readily available as I type this. Not sure how the rest of the building sold, but I suspect not too well given the weak line up and fact that they're splitting the state again (Bangor Saturday/Portland Sunday.)
EDIT: Just received word from friend a who works for a Bangor paper that Sasha Banks will be in town (they're interviewing her.) My excitement just doubled.
