I would prob buy Sid if he had the RSC Brock Torso. But I dont know anything so who knows.

Wow reading all the comments reminds me so much of the last year of the Jakks line when they were cutting corners and producing crap, it appears that the honeymoon with Mattel has ended as it looks like they can't do anything right in the eyes of many collectors. I do feel sorry for them since there is no way they can live up to expectations that people have for $20 toys!

I can't say I'm thrilled with Sting, I really wanted his normal attire. I'm not upset with the design, I'm just confused on why Mattel would choose this entrance attire over his regular wrestling attire?

I'm LOVING Godfather, Bulldog and Sting (...Sting's head/face looks much better on the second picture).  Sid is a bit disappointing: he looks... kinda goofy - like some sort of cartoon/Harley Race hybrid, lol. Dolph and Mizdow look good - but they're going to shelf-warm like crazy. And I don't mind the plastic shirts - but why are Mattel making them soooooo long? I mean, they almost completely cover the trunks(!). They'd look much better if they were shorter, IMO. |

Just when I had disagreed with the guy who said the head sculpts were getting cartoony... Sid looks horrible. Stings scan sucks too. The rest of the set looks good but those were the two I cared most about.

Opinions opinions opinions:
The Godfather: Since he was an Attitude era guy I liked, I was always going to get him, now I can see the finished article I'm super excited to have him on my shelf, absolutely beautiful!
Mizdow: Pretty simple but I like it, I loved the Mizdow angle so I need this to go with Miz
Sid: Never seen any of his stuff, so I don't really have an opinion
Bulldog: Amazing! Won't be buying it as again I've not seen much of his work but it's a great figure
Sting: With the jacket on it looks alright, it just looks a bit ugly once you see the painted shirt fully exposed
Ziggler: Ziggler was someone I've been looking forward to getting for a while as I wasn't collecting when his last Elite came out (I've been collecting 18 months....). I'm a bit underwhelmed, I can't get used to the tights, apparently they're from Survivor Series last year? But when I think Ziggler I picture the 'shorts' kind of tights (more like Tyson Kidd) than the 'trunks' (Triple H) kind of tights. I don't know, it doesn't look right. Plus, that shirt looks really weird and bulky on him. Hopefully it looks better in person I guess...

Wow. I got four responses that claimed there were worse elites out there than Sting, and I laughed at all four.
The Giant
E16 Rock
Rocky Maivia
Del Rio or Brodus Clay
I own 4 out of 5, and they're all better than what that Sting looks like.
Giant's singlet was painted but the head was really good.
Rock had bad facial hair/small head, but his torso was right for once.
Rocky Maivia is a perfect figure. Wish I had it.
Del Rio and Brodus warmed hardcore, but all their figures looked great despite their inability to sell.

There's NO WAY that Sting belongs anywhere near the worst Elite Mattel have made... I think the main problem some are having with it is because of that first picture, where the head looks kind of squashed/weird. In the second one, it's fine:  Some might not like the plastic coat, but (outside the DM line) it was always going to be plastic... and personally, I'd much rather have a plastic coat than a cloth T-shirt (which I thought they might do!). |

Not sure if it was mentioned yet, but it looks like Ziggler's IC title has new logo on base plate, but old logos on side plates.
