I originally read the title as "Mistreatment of Mae Young".

I have to say that when I saw Big Show's opponent was Cesaro, I cringed....
So obvious that Big Show was squashing whoever came through that curtain, why did it have to be Cesaro? Can this guy stay on a push for more than a week?

Big Show destroying Cesaro on 2 consecutive television shows is one of the worst things to ever happen in the WWE. It's utterly ridiculous what they have done to Cesaro FOR NO ING REASON. I am beyond pissed off at this company for what they are doing with him right now. There are 10 other guys on the roster Big Show could have dominated....it's 2015 NO ONE is thinking Big Show will look "weak" going into the fight against Lesnar. They didn't have to make Cesaro look like a complete jobber joke in the process. I swear they do it on purpose. They dont give a ing crapabout the guy and don't want to do anything with him, so they gave the fans a little bit....and now it's right back to jobbersville because eventually everyone will just give up. I'm at the breaking point where I don't even want to see him wrestle because he's just going to look like a ing shitbag who can't get it done. What's the point of having 5 star matches when you ALWAYS LOSE THEM Bo Dallas & his gut can suck it. He's nothing special, never was. A comedy guy like Santino. Kane vs Rollins has to happen, this is the best way possible. Rollins needs a new opponent, Kane will be fine for a month. Rollins keeps rolling all to build to the eventual Reigns/Rollins match at Wrestlemania for the title since they'll probably just give Reigns the rumble win again.

He's the new Matt Hardy.

Can this guy stay on a push for more than a week? Exactly this! I understand them wanting Big Show to look strong for Lesnar but why must it have been Cesaro that got killed ? There was seriously no-one else they could have fed to the Big Show to look strong ? Send Mark Henry out there FFS. Stop with these start/stop, start/stop pushes, they don't help anyone.

After watching raw last night I have to say that WWE has no problem with future stars looking weak but always makes it old talent look strong ( with exception of Mark Henry). Cesaro was crushed by Big Show. Bo Dallas was killed by Ryback. Even Seth Rollins was dragged under the ring by the 50 year old Kane. Also the Dudley Boyz two fat old men are seen as competition for 3 young athletic competitors. I wish WWE would start taking the younger talent more seriously because big show isn't gonna be around forever (I hope not). So you think..

I wish WWE would start taking the younger talent more seriously What age qualifies as "the younger talent"?

Well, for the record this probably wasn't the best thing for a woman that age:

Since when was Ryback "old"? Bo was and is only going to be a comedy character. He's basically a jobber to the stars. In NXT Bo was treated as a main event heel like Jericho or Rollins. And Mason Ryan was FCW champion. What's your point?

Forget the fact that Seth Rollins defeated Sting.

There is no ing excuse for Big Show beating Cesaro. Even if Show "has to look strong for Brock," why feed him Cesaro? It doesn't make any sense. Cena no-selling the frog-splash was dumb, and I don't get why they put the US Title on Rollins, just to have Cena beat him a month later. The crap with Kane sucked. I can't believe they're ripping off the Joseph Park angle.

In NXT Bo's gimmick was that he was an obviously below average talent who was somehow getting pushes and opportunities above obviously superior talents like Sami Zayn and Neville. Bo's NXT gimmick relied on him being pushed above his station and they just weren't going to do that on the main roster.

What age qualifies as "the younger talent"? I don't think it's necessarily an age but probably someone who hasn't been on major television for more than ten years. So in 3 years are you going to be saying the same thing about 1 of those "3 athletic young competitors" you mentioned? Just playing devil's advocate because I do agree with you but it's because the WWE has booked themselves into such a crapty corner and they continue to do so every week where all of their future stars are made to look like chumps against people like Big Show, Kane, The Dudleys, Sting, etc. But hey, nostalgia sells! Ugh. In NXT Bo was treated as a main event heel like Jericho or Rollins. In NXT Bo's gimmick was that he was an obviously below average talent who was somehow getting pushes and opportunities above obviously superior talents like Sami Zayn and Neville. Bo's NXT gimmick relied on him being pushed above his station and they just weren't going to do that on the main roster. ... No, Bo's gimmick was that he was oblivious to the fan's hatred of him and his boring smiley good guy schtick. It really had nothing to do with him getting pushes over guys that were better, that's just why the fans started turning on him in the first place. He was oblivious that the fans hated him. When he came to the main roster he was just that delusional motivational speaker...

I wish WWE would start taking the younger talent more seriously because big show isn't gonna be around forever (I hope not). This has been WWE's main problem for over a decade now. Vince is frightened of main eventers leaving, so he keeps the young guys at the same level. It's the same formula: someone gets pushed, then they get de-pushed. Cases in point: Ziggler, Ryback, Rusev, Wyatt. Regardless of what type of wrestler they are, WWE only lets long-time loyal employees be seen as special. Think about how many times Rollins has been pinned since getting the title. This is his first reign, but they still want him to be seen as vulnerable to most of the roster. Although one counterpoint to your post: Devon never struck me as a fat guy. He's a horse who uses the big boy rack at the gym.

Big Show is slated to face Brock Lesnar. He has to look strong for his inevitable squash at MSG. Bo lost to Ryback to show his anger towards Kevin Owens. The Dudleys are there to enhance New Day. Which, has been the most entertaining thing in WWE for awhile. New Day Rocks! The Trumbone and Xavier are the best parts of Raw. Kane.... I'm more interested in Kane now since his Team Hell No days. I like his schizophrenic character. you just saved me typing. this, exactly this.

Here is my take on it:
1. Dudley's & New Day will trade wins for a bit until the Dudley's ultimately put them over.
2. Bo replaced most of the jobber on the roster, and I wouldn't be against him going back to NXT to rebuild his character.
3. Cesaro's angle with Big Show is simply that Cesaro can't beat Show. Cesaro gets rolling and "Boom" KO Punch. They are building toward that moment when Cesaro finally beats the Show (at least that is what I am hoping for)
