Repainted Walmart figure yeah, but it's a matter of whether or not it'll be released. All logic points to it having been cancelled, but why would ringside post a picture of it then?

My guess is that it was already done and packaged? I'm thinking that anything that went past the prototype phase is going to be made if this one does in fact come out. That said, what is the point of stopping production then? I thought the point was to make sure no more Hogan's made it out into the market? I would laugh if--assuming this one gets released--by the time Mattel is done letting all of its produced Hogans go to retail, Hogan re-signs with WWE. Not attacking Mattel, but it seems like it was all talk at this point--with the exception of the cancellation of the one Hogan everyone wanted.

Well remember we saw MOC images of the "80s greats" three pack and Bill confirmed that cancelled.

Well remember we saw MOC images of the "80s greats" three pack and Bill confirmed that cancelled. Good point. But was that ever placed on a retailers website after the cancellations? As a counter though, a few days ago, WF placed a picture of Hogan on the website with the disclaimer that it wasn't being released. Why wouldn't RSC do the same? I like to believe (which may not be smart) that RSC is knowledgeable and wouldn't have put that figure up on display if it wasn't sure it was coming out? This Hogan thing is confusing. And, what's worse. I don't even care to get a figure of him lol

With the amount of product still hitting the shelves long after the fact.....I don't see the point of the block.

With the amount of product still hitting the shelves long after the fact.....I don't see the point of the block. Most likely was done for legal reasons. I can speculate that they did this to show a material breach of the contract, which would then make it so they could get out of the contract. They could then sell what they made to mitigate the damages. It's a bit more complicated than that (I just supplied a simplified version of it), but that's my best guess as to why they are still doing this. Gratned without a lawsuit, it was probably a deal done between the two as part of the termination of the contract. SO it has no real benefit to the customers, just the company.

What's the point of blocking them if they're still on shelves and more is coming?
Heff Jardy had like 3 figures pulled a mere 2 months or so before the line debuted and one of them was already done.

Are the shirted figs part of the new Kmart series? Think I recognize that Cena from the SDCC display.
