Have we established that Nash's BP skin tone is different than the Elite Nash/Diesel figures? Yes, not the same as the Flashback.

Yes, not the same as the Flashback. That's a real bummer, but that's for the confirmation. Yes, and then Bill MattelDesignTeam will bitch about the aftermarket and how Mattel wants to get that money from eBay, Amazon, etc. for figures that command a high price. Well, the first tip is the obvious - re-release the figure if you still have the rights. Straight-up re-package it, call it a "Best Of" line and problem solved. How many people would by the same exact Kevin Nash figure from Elite 16 if it was in your store tomorrow? I can do with one less Elite series per year if it means an opportunity at some of the most popular/best figures of the past several years. I'm sure Mattel garners new collectors every day, so there must be a huge market of customers who 'missed out' on many figures that would love the chance to buy something from before they collected. For those who have collected since the beginning, they may want a duplicate for any number of reasons. It just makes sense. You know what doesn't make sense? Fixing things that aren't broken. Getting back to my original point about the change in Nash's complexion, here's a tip for Bill, stop changing up basic, fundamental components that don't require it. In other words, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Nash's skin tone was fine in Elite 16 in my opinion, and his character didn't undergo any changes to his skintone enough to warrant a new color. Now, potential customers who may have purchased the Battle Pack to customize their E16 pieces, won't. It needs to be a standalone purchase now. Even if they do end up purchasing, all you've done was hurt your potential sales numbers because of a stupid skin change. It's mathematics and it's poor strategic planning. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - greatness lies in the details. Especially lately, Mattel has been good, but not great. Mattel seems to be making mistakes on many levels these days. There's tier 1 screw ups like simple changes that aren't needed but may go unnoticed by some (i.e. Nash's skintone, Sycho Sid's lack of socks). Then you have tier 2 screw ups that do upset a large segment of their customers (changing the Championship belt style and cheaping out on quality). Finally, tier 3 being the ultimate flaw (increasing suggested prices as quality standards have dropped, charging more while providing less/failure to live upto standards already set yet punishing/charging customers, releasing American Made before nWo Hogan, etc.). This is not exactly the recipe I would be following to grow revenue. Look, I really like Mattel's WWE line and think that many of the things Mattel does is very, very good. Lately though, those feelings of satisfaction have decreased and I've questioned whether the products are worth their asking price. Personally, I've already satisfied any idea I may have had of a solid collection that prior to making my first Mattel purchase. I could stop tomorrow and be satisfied. Mattel should be working hard to keep my business and me as a customer satisfied, but they seem to be going the opposite way.

All three sets. And a couple days before they had them and two E37 Rollins. I am pretty sure I posted it in this thread as well as in my Pickups thread.
