I know, or at least it seems, that most collectors here are flashback/legends collectors with maybe an occasional modern guy thrown in that they really like. But I'm also blown away by what seems to be a group of collectors that buy nearly everything that is made. Whether it's a rerelease, a reprint, first in the line, 5th in 7 sets, and so on, if it's in a line it will be bought. I personally fall into the category of legends only with occasional modern figs of guys I like but I'd like to hear of who falls into the category of "if it's made, it's mine."

I forgot to acknowledge the group of collectors who buy 1 version of every guy made but not every version. They have a heavy presence as well!

I have every Elite of the following: Matt Hardy Hulk Hogan Bray Wyatt Edge Christian
I might be missing some, but that was off the top of my head.

I've got every elite from series 1-37, but not all of the supplementary lines (I don't have the WM26 Rey Mysterio or Triple H, for example... And I only bought about half the Legends figures). Probably got more than 50% of basics. So I don't really go into any of those categories.

I'm not overly picky, especially on Elite figures, but I mostly just pick whichever one's look great. There's so few wrestlers I dislike, even dudes like Fandango, so I just go with the flow of great figures. The money is probably what keeps me from being a completionist. I feel like I'm better off skipping a few figures in lieu of other things.
I love seeing the complete sets, though. It's as epic as it gets in this #Toyspotting gimmick!

im an elite completionist. I don't really buy basics or divas. I'm only missing 38 elites so far. Only 17 of them are from the elite series 1-36. The other half are exclusives, legends and BAFs.
i collect flashback wrestlers because i grew up on wrestling from the WM3 to monday nite wars era.
i collect current wrestlers because i still watch every current WWE show.
so i couldn't just choose to collect one or the other.

I'm not a completionist but I have most elites of Kane, Taker, HBK, Triple H, Bray Wyatt(all) and Edge
Seth Rollins has become my favorite current guy other than Brock and Bray so I'm going to get all of Seth's elites from here on out

I was. Had every Elite from Aeries 1 to 37 plus all Legends, DM, etc. pretty much any Elite style figure that was made, I had, variants and all.
Last month I sold 300+ figures and now have the 12 CM Punk elites that were released, E23 JBL, L6 and HOF Eddie Guerrero, E30 LOD, DM Hogan, DM Sting and RSC Brock Lesnar.
Also, only planning on getting, E38 Bradshaw, E39 Sting and The next DM Sting. Other than those, I'm set!

I'm now looking to sell 90% of my collection.

I have every character who's gotten a figure since the TTL line, with the exception of John Laurinitis, and typically I have the best available version. Also have a lot of customs, but many are thrown together.
Of course, this isn't counting current releases like Adam Rose's Elite or Charlotte.
I believe I have 600+ different characters, I really should do another set of pictures.

I buy at least 1 of every different character produced. Also ,any time a gimmick changes ,that warrants a figure too. With that said, i do also buy multiple different attires for characters if the attire is something that catches my eye. I try to get 1 of every different head sculpt/scan when possible. There are certain guys that i will purchase every different figure for. Flair, Warrior,Sting,Hogan, Savage, Punk........Unfortunately, displaying all this is getting impossible. I've got one 7 tiered shelf full to capacity, 3 boxes, and 2 large sterilite bins filled to the top, plus about 40 figures still MIB due to lack of space. I do,however, have another bookcase thats getting ready to be emptied, so that will free up 5 more shelves.
