Such a shame KB isn't still open. Some of the business aspects are over my head, but KB was on the verge of turning things around until investors (Mitt Romney's former company)took the easier payday and closed them down. What happened there was somewhat controversial.

What happened there was somewhat controversial. The problem wasn't that. KB Toys had been based in malls. Toy Stores in malls have been a dying trend for years when they closed. Heck Toy Stores in malls are basically a seasonal thing anymore

Newt Gingrich used it against him when they were campaigning for the Republican nomination and Rolling Stone did a story about it. It's all on google, lol.

All those KB Toys Exclusives! I used to love when they'd clearance out all of their figures and put them in those large bins at 3/$10.00. Those were my childhood glory days!

I miss their bin sales so bad. The Toys R Us express locations help me remember that feeling but it isn't the same.

I never heard of the term Green Friday be used before Thats what TRU calls it. They called it that when I worked for them in 2010. They think Black Friday is racist.. Yet their add says Black Friday... Also, I miss KB so bad. I remember buying some BCA's fro the mall in 98 and Skeleton Warrior figures the same day. They still had Kenner Alien figures in stock when they closed here in 2005.

Hold the phone... The first video had a Buzz Lightyear on the shelf in the first minute, but the video is labeled as 1993. Toy Story didn't release till 1995.
