WCW title belts cannot be made because they lack the rights to the belts Thank you so much for asking about this, but I was really wanting to know the reason why they can't license them. Did you happen to ask that? If you're not aware, the rights-holders have been quoted as saying they're happy to license them to Mattel - but have not been asked. Which leads me to believe it's not a money problem (as some people keep claiming, completely unsourced) whereas my suspicion is the issue is something else. But Mattel refuses to tell us what it is for some reason. Like with flashback superstars, someone asks is someone signed, and Bill sometimes says not right now but he's asked WWE to sign them. With WCW belts, it's always like, they don't have the rights, end of story. Like there will never be any possibility or attempt made to work out a deal. It's just so frustrating. Why aren't they even making enquiries with the rights holders?

I sense WAY too much sarcasm in this q&a... Almost that it's a joke that we even ask questions for bill to answer. I really learned nothing new from this... And I did submit a question. Are these randomly selected? There's no way those questions got the most votes.... What question would you have asked?

They rebranded the titles they wanted to keep and Seth rollins is the first to unify the world title and us (not goldberg or Booker T even.

Here are the questions that I wanted answered that were not asked:
Any chance of a NXT flashback Seth Rollins?
Will the first BAF Paul Bearer (Dolph, Sandow, Bryan, and Kofi)set ever see retail in the USA? It was planned for toys r us, but could it show up at big lots/amazon/kmart at some point?
Any Gobbledy Gooker release updates?
I do really enjoy the strategy questions regarding the wwe line. I also pray that the bunny does well at retail so that Gooker could be reconsidered. I dislike the "is _____ legend signed?" questions. I really like that a few members on the board got their own personal q&a's in from Bill. It's nice to know that the WCW belts are off limits so we can stop asking. I also loved Hulkamania 4 life's report and q&a. It's cool to know about The Rock torso was a rock request.

Are these randomly selected? There's no way those questions got the most votes.... I agree there is no way these questions got the most votes. I read the thread the night before Ringside Fest and I don't even remember seeing most of these questions on there. I know my question had a decent amount of likes, but wasn't asked so I guess likes didn't really matter. I love Ringside and order from them all of the time. 90% of my current Mattel collection is from Ringside, but I feel like they are asking the questions they want to know, not what we want to know. As far as questions that I would of asked are.... Will we ever get an Elite SummerSlam 1995 Shawn Michaels? It's been requested for years. Will we ever see a WrestleMania 12 HBK in Elite form? Possibly as a future Defining Moments figure? If we keep getting Foley figures how come we haven't gotten a Dude Love yet? How close are we to getting a Jim Neidhart figure? Any chance we finally see a Jushin "Thunder Liger figure now that he has been in NXT? Enzo & Big Cass Battle Pack? Any NXT figures penciled in the Elite line for 2016? How far into production is a Kevin Owens Elite? Can we expect one in early 2016? Is Becky Lynch the next diva to get released in the basic line?

the wcw title thing has gotten asked every q&a for years...bill went into why they can't do it like 2 or 3 rsf's ago. The one where him and tom talked about warped legs or something.
the WCW belts are always in the videogames...so obviously its just a matter of Mattel does NOT pay for outside contracts. They only work w/ existing wwe contracts.
the videogame ppl pay the belt ppl themselves. Thats why in the beginning credits and stuff u will see stuff like GANGREL copyright owned by some tabletop rpg company and all belts courtesy of Dave millican belts or something.

Seriously. I found out a crap ton more than RSC did: New Day Elites confirmed WCW title belts cannot be made because they lack the rights to the belts Bill does not know how basic 44 and 55 Kanes ended up half Elite, half basicBunny is being released because too much time, effort, and money was spent on his figure Bill says basic 58 will not be released until February-March 2016 was supposed to be the year of the NWO figures but a certain someone got themself in trouble Enzo and Cass and Vaudevillains are "very likely" And more that I can't remember That's the kind of info I find most interesting.

If only we could fundraise for Mattel to sign people
I'd toss a few hundred in the hat if it meant Mattel would go out and sign some guys and the damn WCW belts

I appreciate people's interest in the WCW belt issue but this is all guesswork. We know Mattel don't have the rights to make them, but what we most certainly don't know is why they apparently refuse to even consider licensing them (since they haven't even asked the belt makers about the possibility!). Every time the WCW belts question has been asked to Mattel, the answer is always vague and evasive, with a slight undertone of being irritated that people keep asking for them.
WCW belts are demanded and needed, period. And I encourage all true WCW fans to keep asking Mattel for WCW belts until they find a way to make it happen.
WCW's rich title history deserves to be represented in figure form and the problems with making them need to be solved, not ignored.

I don't mean to be a jerk, but why...why in God's name did someone ask if more stings are coming?
That's like asking if more cena figures are coming

I don't even know why I bother watching the Q&A's anymore. Its answers to stuff that anyone with half a brain could figure out for themselves.
I mean seriously who was deathly afraid that more stings weren't coming?
Or how about asking the same questions that we've already had answered before like Ryback's torso mold and if the Legend's line is returning.
Or how about asking questions about things that were already revealed to be true at the event like the Bunny or Elite combo packs.
Ill just go ahead and chalk that up to 9 minutes of my life i'll never get back.

WCW's rich title history deserves to be represented in figure form and the problems with making them need to be solved, not ignored. There's no bigger WCW fan around then myself, but maybe its just not financially wise for Mattel to pay for them. For instance, the United States Title, Tag Titles & Cruiserweight title are the only real titles there is to pay for. (We all know they're not gonna retool Big Gold) Who & how many guys can you release to financially make that decision pay off? The United States title for instance....If we get another Luger its much more likely to be a Narcissist. We've had 2 DDP's so its not likely we'll get a 3rd. You could possibly drop it on a guy like Sting or Goldberg but both will be so highly sought after why drive the cost of the figure up & lose profit? Nearly everyone else that held the title (mostly from 2000-2001) dont warrant a Flashback figure. Cruiserweight title would be perfect for Mysterio or Malenko as those are the 2 ideal WCW cruiserweights, but we already got both and its unlikely we'll get another. You could give the WCW Tag Titles to Harlem Heat or if ever signed, Steiner Brothers but like the rest, all others are just highly unlikely to get figures that represent a time when they were WCW Tag Champions.
