Pens sign Maatta to a 6 year extension.
Glad they got him sealed down. The kid's just too damn good.

Hudler to the Panthers for a 2016 2nd and 2018 4th. Would have liked a bit more, but not a bad return for a pending UFA who we don't have space to resign.
Panthers also get Purcell and Kindl, they're loading up. I hope they go far. Want to see Hudler succeed and Jagr get a cup
Now hopefully the Flames trade Russell and add another second round pick

Eric Staal as been traded to the Rangers for 2 2nd round picks and a prospect. He needed a change of scenery really bad so I think this will benefit him and New York, though he's nowhere close to the #1 Center he used to be .

So now the Rangers are trying to collect all the Staal cards. Interesting.

Hexy makes no moves and I'm happier than a pig in shit, honestly.

Hexy makes no moves and I'm happier than a pig in crap, honestly. I was kind of hoping they'd be able to move Streit.

Flew out to Colorado for the Stadium Series game and had a blast. So glad Detroit won the game too, made the trip worthwhile. And if any of you guys have a chance to go to Colorado for anything, go for it. It was so beautiful and fun.

The Wild not only beat Colorado tonight but also leap frogged them in the playoff standings. Thanks John Torchetti, you're my hero.

Who knew that being a few points out of a playoff spot with a couple home games against bad teams would be a recipe for instant losses. Oh wait, the flyers knew. Of course.

King Henry got a little mad tonight. I mean I know we're terrible, but to toss your own net? Yikes.
