If there's one game this season that's a must win for both teams, it's this Pens/Flyers game. The loser most likely won't make the playoffs.

I get what you're referencing, but they win with Malkin. So.... The Pens win some when both Malkin and Sid play together. But take the Cup season aside, they're mediocre/middle of the pack when they have both of their stars. Sounds stupid but take a look at the stats. When one of them is out, the other plays out of their mind and the Pens win a ton of games. Together, they hover right above .500. It's something Pens fans haven't been able to figure out in almost a decade. |
