Roode has a fantastic look and is a good worker. He'd have looked great with the big gold World Heavyweight Championship.
Not sure he will ever join the WWE now but I wouldn't be against it.

Who knows? But I will say at one time I thought Roode & Storm were going to be huge. No disrespect to TNA, but they fumbled both guys terribly. Lost interest in both, but would still love to see them have a run in NXT. This. I love AJ Styles but Roode and Storm were the guys TNA had a shot to make legit stars. Both have/had great looks, tons of charisma, and good in ring skills. If anything Roode is the perfect prototype for what the wwe wants a star to be. A shame both wasted there time in TNA but at 38 I feel Roode still has a lot of years left.

I had a thread on here about a month ago asking the same thing. Bobby Roode was MADE for the WWE style of wrestling. Triple H could have cloned him into a little Hunter. And at one time, Beer Money could have been TNA's answer to DX. Storm as Shawn, Roode as Hunter. It's a shame the IC Title and WWE Title will never be on Bobby Roode, he would have made both belts look great! Bobby Roode and James Storm WERE tailor made for WWE...like 4-5 years ago. But now with WWE cherry picking big name indy stars, "the WWE style" is no longer in trend. People may say they want a guy like Bobby Roode in WWE...but then once he actually gets there, they'll be disappointed and call him "overrated" once he's in the ring with the likes of Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Finn Balor, etc. Bobby Roode > Seth Rollins

I think Roode was a little more than a ''good hand''. I mean he isn't the most charismatic wrestler ever, but he really put his words together and sounds like a pro wrestler. Great voice imo. Not to mention his wrestling style is top notch, he could work anywhere.
I'd buy a guy like him in Seth's role no problem.

He's in GFW now isn't he? Not TNA. Not really. He's the KOTM Champion, which is a TNA Title. He just wrestled Lashley at BFG. I think he's allowed to work GFW shows when it doesn't interfere with TNA but he still works for TNA.

Bobby Roode > Seth Rollins Seem an appropriate reuse. What exactly is Seth so much better at? Roode is better on the mic by far, has a good build himself, and is a better classic heel worker. Seth is a terrible actor, lacks the kind of build to be credible imo, and does ing highspots as a heel smh. Easily the most overrated wrestler I've seen in recent years. Everything about him screams RIG or NJPW, I would take Bobby Roode in the 70s, 80s, 90s, anytime. The guy is excellent imo. More of a timeless pro wrestler.

From mic skills to look to in ring ability, storytelling, charisma, ability to sell. While Rollins isnt as big as Roode, I've got advantage Rollins in the build. If you want to say that Roode is a better classic heel worker....fine. Problem is Roode is a babyface right now. So I guess he is having some issue adjusting. Terrible actor? Dont know about that. But he is a fantastic storyteller. You like to talk about classic wrestling and days of yesteryear. Sting, in a recent interview, said that Seth Rollins is the BEST in ring worker he has EVER been in the ring with. Think about the greats that Sting has shared a ring with. And Sting says Seth Rollins is the BEST. Sting has been wrestling more years than Rollins has been living. What the hell is RIG? Everything screams NJPW? Thank you. Thats awesome. Have you ever seen NJPW? Only the BEST in the WORLD work NJPW. I'm guessing you aint a Finn Balor fan. Roode is what he is. He has an average look with an average build. He is an average storyteller with average mic. skills. Is Bobby Roode someone I want on my roster? Definitely. He's a good hand to have. I would say he is a poor man's Arn Anderson. Anderson had a better mind for the business and was a textbook tag team wrestler. Roode.....average tag team wrestler. Roode makes for a better heel than face. He isnt engaging enough with the crowd to play face and when he attempts to its so contrived. But if you tell me I can only have one between Rollins and Roode.....I'm going Rollins all day. There is a VERY short list of performers that can lace Rollins boots today. And no, I wouldnt grade him an A+ in every category. But I would say his shortcomings are small and improving and his pluses for far exceed the status quo, he has more than earned his spot at the top of professional wrestling.

I'm still confused by the relationship between TNA and GFW. Yeah, I definitely don't think you're alone with that. I know a bunch of guys switched to pay-per-apperance for TNA too when their contract expired, but then still worked for TNA. So that made it twice as confusing. Like Magnus legitimately left TNA to join GFW, but Bobby Roode largely joined GFW to add star power to the TV tappings and was still with TNA. So it's pretty difficult to keep up at this point imo. Now that the "GFW Invasion" is pretty much over in TNA, maybe it will become a little more clear. Or maybe TNA will go out of business, who the hell knows haha.

RIG is what my phone turned ROH into. We'll have to just agree to disagree on most points. I think Bobby looks a lot more comfortable on the Mic and his acting is surperior. Gruff voice, just a solid performer. People are tired of me saying it, but Seth can be awkward and has that nasally voice. I wouldn't take him over much of anybody when he opens his mouth. Yea I don't dig the NJPW or ROH style\ability enough to look any of these perceived faults. Throw in the fact that fundementally I don't think a heel should use highspots to that degree. Too flashy. Sting clearly used some hyperbole there, or was simply referring to the athlete Seth is. Athletically I could see it, Seth is up there. No way he has more talent than a Ric Flair though, Sting ain't that crazy.

Roode would have/still could be one of HHH's guys. He always reminded me of Triple H to a certain degree.

I'd love to see him in WWE, and although I loved Beer Money, I don't want to see him and Storm back together. Roode would be a perfect fit for the Authority in my opinion.

I always thought he was alright but a little overrated. Then again, I haven't watched TNA since 2010 so I have no clue what he's done down there in the past 5 years.
