Welp, guys, on Oct. 15th I'll hit the milestone of 30 years young and a day later my girlfriend will be 29, so we decided to treat ourselves to a birthday weekend in downtown Atlanta.
Firstly, we went to the Westin Hotel and went 73 floors up, in a glass elevator to a Bar & Lounge called "The Sundial", for a 360 degree skyline view of Atlanta.
I would highly recommend a visit to The Sundial, if not for anything else, just to enjoy the view !
We plan on going back soon, this time at night, for dinner on the revolving diner floor.
After the view, we went to Centennial Park to take in some of what the city has to offer and then decided to go to the Georgia Aquarium, since neither of us had been there in 10 years !
Lastly, I had made dinner reservations for us at a Brazilian Steakhouse called "Fogo De Chao", which was amazing !
Figured that I'd share my weekend with you guys.
