So was this easily the worse group in the history of the WWE for having top talent and somehow never winning any gold??
Ted DiBiase had IRS, Bam Bam Bigelow, Tatanka, Nikolai Volkoff, King Kong Bundy, Kama, 123 Kid, and Sycho Sid at one time or another in his group, and not one of those men won the Million Dollar Man any title belts.
I know many felt that Tatanka and Bigelow should have had at least one Tag Title reign, but it's weird to think that none of those guys brought home any gold for that group.

They were the WWF version of The Dungeon of Doom.......
The M$C never did anything but job to Taker.
Should have had Razor go heel in late 94 and be their ace against Taker at Mania 11.

It gave Dibiase something to do after his retirement, which was nice. He was a legend even at the time and a great interviewer but unfortunately the group was made up of guys on a downpart of their career at the time. But at least it gave them something for the time.

Anything involving IRS is awful.

I think the first few started out pretty good. IRS and Ted were old partners so that made sense, Nikolai being bought as the down and out wrestler made sense, Bam Bam was still a big deal and Tatanka heel turned looked good on paper. After that, it was pretty random with Bundy and Kama being singles on their own briefly, then joining the corporation with little storyline. Sid also seemed to be a random join. Kid made some sense, was a big heel turn considering his two year friendship with Razor but didn't come with much of a storyline about being bought or anything.
By the end of 1995, it was really just Kid and Ringmaster. Sid had just left, Tatanka and Kama came back only briefly, Bundy was gone. When Tatanka and Kid were teaming for the tag title tournament, I don't even recall Dibiase being with them. It was probably a good (no, GREAT) thing that Dibiase left when he did-I don't think Austin would've had the breakout speech if he had a good talker in Dibiase by his side.

That's the same group who jobbed to the New York Giants. Poor souls.

Dibiase leaving was crucial to Austin's success IMHO. The shedding of the manager was the first of many right steps for Austin.
In Dibiase's incredibly preachy shoot he craps on about how Austin made a huge mistake going to the lowest common denominator with his character and said he should have remained as the Ringmaster. He says he told him in 1996 he was making a huge mistake....and he still believes he was right.....
Yeah ok Ted.......

Sid was the only guy from the M$M's crew that went on to bigger and better things
edit: i do not count Ringmaster as part of the corporation

I loved the Million Dollar Corporation as a kid. I don't remember why I liked them so much but I did.

they started off with such potential, but by mid-1995 were a joke, and became a glorified group of jobbers.

I can't consider any stable that has Nikolai Volkoff, King Kong Bundy, IRS, Kama and Tatanka anywhere near "top talent."
Sid, 1-2-3 Kid and Bigelow were cool though.
But yea, this stable sucked hard.

One of the least formidable heel stables of all time. Couldn't take it seriously at all. 94 was just a bore fest when it comes to WWF for me. Outside of Bret/Owen and even Diesel/HBK/Razor. WCW wasn't much better either. But it had me more compelled with the curiosity of seeing the ex WWFers make the jump. It was especially brutal to give a damn about The Corporation vs Lex Luger or Hogan vs Beefcake and co. when that When Worlds Collide ppv aired. That blew the big 2 away in my opinion that year. But to get back on topic, there was some chance for the Corporation to get viable if they would have kept Bam Bam and even Kama stronger than what they did. Bigelow obviously could have been the credible monster heel for Diesel with the right booking. The chances for much out of Kama were significantly slimmer, but he could have been tweaked to be a far more serious threat than he was. And don't even get me started on Undertaker vs Underfaker.........

I totally forgot about the Undertaker v. Undertaker feud. Probably better I did forget, it was pretty bad.

I loved it.
How can one say Bundy was never a top talent. He main evented WM2 for crying out loud. Bigelow was just awesome. I don't get you guys. I thought it was a great and fresh idea.

You will have to ignore some people's comments regarding certain wrestlers. For some on here (even though it's a classic board) refuse to watch anything before 1996 and if they do, they feel it was nothing but crap.

Yet they thought it was great when Ted Dibiase was revealed as the one who is financing the NWO...Oh gee...WHERE did WCW get THAT idea from? Yeah I know what you are saying. There are ALOT of very young members here and very few over 40 curmudgeons like me around.

I wouldn't consider Bundy a top talent. Yea, he main evented WrestleMania 2 (a bottom 5 Mania for sure in terms of quality), but he literally only did so because he was a big guy to feed to Hogan. There was never anything special about the guy. Even without looking at that, the Million Dollar Corporation is easily one of the worst stables of all time. They never did anything of note and were pretty much a giant group of losers during their time together.

King Kong Bundy sucked and Wrestlemania 2 is literally bottom of the barrel.
Bundy had NO business wrestling Taker at WM 11 and is an absolute embarrassment of a match.
Taker won with a clothesline...
A clothesline.
