Just a quick question.
I got a ton of loose figs. Some of my Jakks guys in suits have developed some kind of a sticky residue on their suits. Do you think it could be the containers I keep them in or has this happened to anyone else?

It has happened to my figures a few times. For some reason the rubber becomes sticky after a while.

Common problem. No long term solution, but washing then in warm water with soap detergent may help a little.
Has happened to my vintage Turtles and Episode 1 Star Wars figures. Cheap crappy plastic.

Careful with messing with the rubbery plastic, many times the paint/writing will rub right off when you try to clean out wipe it, happened to my brothers Jericho. Also if the figures get slightly too warm in storage, things will melt/warp/distort. It's just an unfortunate reality. Hasbro had the worst toys that would distort really easily.

Had the same problem on old and trash pieces but made them like new , first wet the figure in hot tap water and then rub on the original blue dawn no conditioners version ! the stuff is amazing on everything with no side effects then rinse with hot tap water and repeat if needed , just amazing stuff takes off old spots ect but doesnt effect original paint ! then air dry or a hair dryer .

Storage may be key here too. I bought some really great loose figures for cheap off a guy, but he had them in boxes in his garage and they had gotten sticky like what you're describing. I took a damp cloth to wipe them and now they are stored in my closet. The temps don't get extremely hot nor cold and they are far less noticeably sticky.
Storing toys and comics and the like is important. Don't stick stuff in sheds and attics and basements and garages and so on....
