Customania Round One - **VOTING OPEN!**

it was when he first come back from wcw and had a full mane of hair check Wrestlemania 11 were he was in the Allied powers you will see his "MULLET"

im sure that becca, txr, skribbel, nick maniwa, and CMD are judges

I was looking forward to this and I'm pleasantly surprised that everyone turned their stuff in on time. None of these matches were easy decisions, every single match was close and it took a while to choose. It looks like this Customania is going to turn out great.

Match 1:
-Both have clean paintjobs and original head choices, but they are also fairly simple. I'd like to see some sculpting or head modding on these.
-I think the head for Owen is really close to working. There is some resemblance, but maybe the hair could be different or didn't he sometimes have a goatee with this outfit? That might give it a more unique feel.
-The Pillman head for Crush works very well, the facial hair and paint help a lot.
-Both of these are really similar, black singlets that have about the same amount of detail on them. I think the head for Crush is enough to break the tie and give him my vote.

Match 2:
-The mask and skirt on Rellik are good modifications, but the paint looks to be a little messy. I think this is a good base for a Rellik and if there were some more finishing touches to clean it up, it could be great
-Rikishi's painjob is very smooth and I like the fact that the skin tone is fully painted. Unfortunately there isn't any other detail painting. I would like to see the waistband logo painted, but the pre-made one is already perfect, so you might as well use it. IMO the hair is the main flaw. Some texture and lines would really help out.

Match 3:
-From the waist down, I love the Punk. The shorts look to be modded to get rid of the rips and the crotch piece works too. They are also painted great. The head looks right too.
-I don't really have a problem with using the Jakks torso, it's a lot easier than painting the tats. It just seems that accuracy was sacrificed in favor of this easier method.
-I really like the Marufuji. The only flaw is the hair, it seems like it could use a little more texture. Everything else looks awesome, the parts choice is perfect.

Match 4:
-Looks like the competition from the 3-way dance made everyone step it up. These are 3 great customs and it sucks that 2 of them have to go out in the first round.
-I like the outfit for Bulldog, I don't think I've seen it in custom form before. It must have been fun painting all those union jacks, but they turned out pretty good. Some uneven spots, but overall good. The hair seems fairly accurate, based on the ref pic.
-Santino looks really good. There is something almost cartoony about it(in a good way) and I really like all the sculpting. The hair is perfect and the jacket is a great touch. You miss out on the tattoos, but the jacket has enough detail that it still looks nice. He wears the jacket a lot anyway. Sculpted kneepads are always a nice tough
-It's hard for me to judge the Macho because I'm not familiar with the base parts. It looks like the head has some good, clean sculpting. The paintjob is basically flawless, it looks really smooth, but it is also not especially detailed. The giant figures give a lot more room to work with, and I think you should use it for detail. I feel like this outfit is too simple for that
Decision: Oozing Machismo's Santino

Newbie Invitational:
-Scotty looks great. Colorful and clean and a unique idea. I think this figure stands above the rest.
-The others are a close call. The Batista is a little too simple, getting the hair off and bald was good, but that is basically all that was done. The Ace Steel is good, but again very simple. Sterling Golden is a little too pale, but overall it's a solid custom. Full skin paint and the tights and boots look good. There is even some sculpting on the torso.
Decision: Angus and Tibbs

Match 2 -

TCKDean's is my favourite. It looks a lot smoother, and although it looks the Relik had had a little more work put in, Rikishi looks a lot more put together and looks better, not forgetting the added title belt.

Match 3 -

I'm voting for 4LK, it's a much more original idea, and the parts used look great. Although I love the custom CM Punk, I just prefer the Marafuji (sp?) a tad more. The work on the pants and a great torso choice plus the mold on the head, also looks like more work was put in, tough choice. CM Punk looks great though

Match 4 -

JPillkos Bulldog gets my vote. I've seen Pilko do tons of Bulldogs in the past and as far as the attire is concerned, I don't like it. As far as the CUSTOM goes, it's my fav Bulldog custom I have seen him do. It's so neat, and the knee pads are genius. I also like the fact that unlike his other Bulldog customs, this one does not have the beads in the hair, and Davey didn't have them in his hair al the time, on occasions such as WMXXI and Royal Rumble '95. It all looks so well put together and constructed brilliantly. Love it I also do like the Savage, but it doesn't really do it for me, same as the Santino Marella, I'm just not sure on the head, but the rest is great, I particularly like the pads molded on. None the less, my vote goes to Pilko's awesome Bulldog

Match 1: Both look great. The Crush is exactly how I remember him. The painting looks smooth, but it's hard for me to see the detail due to what I assume is a combo of the flash and the gloss.
The Owen figure looks awesome too. I like that you did an Owen in different attire than the normal "King of Hearts." My vote goes to............

JPD Crush

Match 2: The sculpting on Rellik looks good, but the painting looks rushed in places. There is white showing through on the tape and the lines are not crisp between color changes on the lower part of the skirt thing.
I like the Rikishi no real complaints. My vote goes to..............

TCKDEEN Rikishi

Match 3: The Punk looks good but there seems to be work done mostly on the shorts. Some of which is a little shakey.
The Naomichi looks solid. Smooth painting and great part choices. My vote goes to..............

4lk Naomichi

Match 4: The Bulldog looks good other than there seems to be a skintone difference in the head and body.
The Marella Looks good but it's too dark.

The Macho Man is really cool. I've never seen anything like that before. My vote goes to..........

Bartman Macho Man


The newb invitational" I know my vote does not count here but I will comment anyway.
The Flamingo is tops of the bunch in my opinion. Great part choices. It's hard to see the detail but I really don't think that would matter. Still the best.


My Sterling Golden, I think I missed the skintone on it. It's darker in hand but still not dark enough. Also you can't tell but the torso is completely sculpted. It was originally a Hawk CS, but I changed the entires thing since Golden never had anything close to a 6-pack but huge pecs. I wish you could see how the difference.


The Leviathan is ok, but the painting is a little sloppy at the bottom of the shorts.

The Ace Steel looks good but it looks more like a repaint than anything else. A good repaint none the less.

how can the head be a different skintone due to the fact its a modded cs 7 bulldog head which DOESNT COME TANNED!!!

[X] Texacide [X] - I really like that Owen Hart, i'd say its the best one i've seen so far.

TCKDeen - I like this Rikishi, its very well done.

customkenny - CM Punk is very detailed, the logos and everything are just perfect.

JPilko - I'm a big fan of Bulldog, what can I say? lol Only gripe I have with it is the hair, but it is otherwise awesome, the painting is superb.

Tibbs1984 - The facial/hair modding is awesome on the Sterling Golden, it looks fantastic.
