Recently, we were asked to make a list of our five favorite things in wrestling. I thought we could all share our choices. You don't have to write as much as I did, as I just copy and paste from the actual post. 5) Heel Tetsuya Naito - There are a few things that I really enjoy about wrestling right now that didn’t make this list. Seth Rollins as WWE Champion, Jay Lethal as double champion and a few others. However, Tetsuya Naito is someone I was just introduced to this year and he’s already shot up my list of must see people. I first saw him at Wrestle Kingdom 9 in a losing effort to AJ Styles. While the match was really good, he didn’t stick out to me. During the G1 Climax though, I just had to see everything he did. His new heel persona is miles better than his babyface stuff that I’m going back and seeing. His “I don’t care” attitude is fantastic, and then he goes out and puts on really good matches. I also get a real kick out of watching him slowly walk to the ring while his fast pace theme music plays. 4) Lucha Underground's Return - I loved Lucha Underground season one. I loved how different it was, I loved the action in the ring, I loved the campy but fun storylines, I loved the talent that they signed and I love the finale, Ultima Lucha. I actually have it as my number two favorite event this year. For a while, myself and many others worried about the possibility that season two would not happen. Recently, season two was made official and I could not have been happier. Now we get to see the future of the Pentagon Jr./Vampiro pairing, Mil Muertes’ title reign and more of Dario Cueto’s “unique opportunities”. When the season finally begins, I’m going to be glued to my television so some of most fun I can have watching wrestling. 3) New Day - When the group first debuted at the end of last year, I was one of the few people who kind of liked them. Yea, they were super cheesy but I liked the trio. Then they turned heel and everything just clicked. They are, week in and week out, an absolute highlight. There is no act that I look forward to seeing on Raw each week than the New Day. Not only are their matches a blast, but everything they do works. Kofi Kingston seems to be having so much fun with something new to do, Big E has the perfect mannerisms for the goofy big man role and Xavier Woods is a godsend in his position. His ringside antics are phenomenal, from shouting “WHAT ARE THOSE?” to playing Rusev’s theme on the trombone, it all just works. I mean, there is no reason that a trombone or dunking on a random stranger backstage should work so well, but they are in a groove where they can do no wrong and I’m loving it. 2) NJPW World - Last year, I would have put the WWE Network on this list. Hell, it’s still one of my favorite things since I use it so often. I went with New Japan World here though because I’ve been using it more and more lately. I first signed up in January to see Wrestle Kingdom 9. I love the show but had to cancel in February due to some money issues. I picked it back up in July for Dominion and the G1 Climax and I’m never looking back. Even if I disagree with some of the booking decisions, the in ring product is so good with NJPW. I’ve used my subscription to see current events and to go back and learn more about the history of the company. It’s been a blast to have. 1) Sasha Banks - Sasha Banks tops my list because she is currently, my favorite wrestler in the world. Yup. It started last year when I really started to like her shorter performances. When she finally got the chance to work a TakeOver, she and Charlotte had a great match in December. I found myself emotionally invested in that match in a way I hadn’t been in years. That feeling would happen in every single big match Sasha Banks has had since then. Whether it be against Charlotte, Becky Lynch, Bayley or all three at once, she delivers. She’s even gotten pretty good matches out of Alexa Bliss. Whether it’s on the main roster or especially on NXT shows, I want to see everything Sasha Banks does. Even her social media account is fantastic, filled with fun posts and an especially great friendship with the New Day. Sasha Banks is money, pun intended. spam.com/wrestling/the-411-wrestling-top-5-top-5-favorite-things-in-wrestling/

I only watch WWE, so it will have to be related to that. And I'll be honest, it's hard to find 5 things to be positive about.
Bayley, New Day, Kevin Owens, Paige's Ass, Paige's boobies
I'd love to say Cesaro or Ambrose, but they are sadly irrelevant right now.

Sasha, New Day, Takeover: Brooklyn (best live show I have attended in years), Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins as THE man.

5) Mike Bailey - After finishing all three nights of BOLA this past weekend, Mike Bailey has jumped into my list of current favorite pro wrestlers. Maybe it's because he really isn't that much bigger than me in physical stature, but I just connect with Speedball. He was unbelievable in all performances. To be able to stand out against some of the top independent wrestlers going today, that says something. Speedball is going to establish himself massively on the indies before someday being signed to WWE, where I believe he has the potential to be the next Sami Zayn/Bayley in NXT as the plucky underdog babyface who Full Sail goes apesh*t for and sends to the moon.
4) Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt - I feel like right now, Roman Reigns is having the 2015 that WWE tried to make everyone believe was his 2014. I still have some ways to go before calling Reigns a favorite of mine, and I've grown incredibly tired of Bray Wyatt's act over the last year or so, but this has been a feud done right. All of their encounters so far on consecutive PPVs in singles and tag matches have been solid, and the match that closed out RAW a few weeks ago was a well-executed brawl. I'm really looking forward to their match at Hell in a Cell on Sunday.
3) Lucha Underground Returning - Lucha f****** Underground.
2) #NXTLOUD - This is going in here for two reasons. One, because I genuinely do love this. Two, there really isn't much for me to put together a top five contemporary wrestling list. #NXTLOUD is the music initiative NXT has been taking for their theme songs. This is really, really important to me because I've waited years for bands in the "scene" of music to receive recognition of this level. It started with Motionless in White having "Unstoppable" for TakeOver: Unstoppable. While the song was re-recorded to feature less screaming, it was still a big deal. Then, "We Like It Loud" by Sleeping with Sirens was selected for TakeOver: Brooklyn. That was another massive selection for me because Sirens is a band that has been deserving of this spotlight. Most recently, Bring Me the Horizon has two songs for TakeOver: Respect. "Happy Song" was one of them, though it didn't get THAT much play since the lyrics are unclean and not very fitting of a wrestling event. The other song, "Throne," was given some of the most airtime I've seen a theme song in WWE receive. I realize this has very little to do with actual wrestling, but it's still important to me. I can't wait to see what band is selected for TakeOver: London and every event going forward.
1) The New Day - There really is no other viable option for my top spot. New Day are the absolute best thing going in not just WWE today, but all of professional wrestling. They're talented. They're hilarious. They have exceptional chemistry with each other. They're fresh every single week. New Day is 100% the perfect blend of entertainment and wrestling. Whenever I hear Big E's introduction, I can't help but get excited because I know I'm about to watch the highlight of every WWE show. They're just perfect and what we really need right now during this down period for the WWE product. New Day rocks the living f*** out of pro wrestling right now.

Seth Rollins – It’s nice to see the first ever NXT Champion as the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion. It shows that he is a great talent and how far along NXT has come from the Nexus days.
Kevin Owens – A true workhorse holding the “Workhorse” Championship Title.
John Cena – If “Offense sells tickets” and “Defense wins games”, the John Cena is “Special Teams”. He managed to make the “3rd place” Championship Title Belt have as much meaning today as the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Title Belt. More importantly, he didn’t bring back the U.S. Word Life Spinner.
The New Day – There really isn’t much to say about the WWE World Tag Team Champions that hasn’t already been said. There is only one thing to say…New…Day…Rocks.
Charlotte – WOOOO!! A female version of Ric Flair. She should be called the Nature Girl already. She really lives up to the name, “Flair”. To be the Woman, you have to beat the Woman, and right now, Charlotte is the Woman.

5) Sasha Banks: Took me a lil longer to see it, but gawd dang she is just impressive.
4) Seth Rollins: Win/loss record aside, he's been killing it.
3) NxT: Kinda cheated listing the whole company, but I just love it all.
2) Kevin Owens: When he's on, he has my full attention
1) New Day: Love everything about these guys. EVERYTHING!

I've been watching wrestling for 35+ years now and this is the first time I can honestly tell you that I'm invested in women's wrestling, namely Sasha Banks. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon and I'm not some creepy stalker; it's been a looooong time since I've been so emotionally invested in a wrestler. There's just something captivating about her and she's a phenomenal worker. The last time I felt like this was Samoa Joe/Daniels/Styles back in 2006.
So for me today:
5. Vaudevillians - the gimmick is so over-the-top I can't help be be drawn in 4. Asuka - made her NXT debut recently, very cute, very good in the ring - she's got my interest. 3. Lucha Underground - the way wrestling shows should be produced! 2. BROCK LESNAR - still get chills whenver this guy is on my screen, something is going to happen! 1. Sasha Banks - nuff said

1. Good Indy ShowsI've been having a blast attending local indy shows this year. My favorite is Lancaster Championship Wrestling..... the atmosphere, the wrestlers, the fans.... everyone there is just having fun enjoying WRESTLING together. I've also been enjoying shows at Maryland Championship Wrestling, 1CW, and Legacy. I've been studying new young stars like Lio Rush, Patrick Clark, Sean Carr, David Starr, Shane Strickland.... these guys are awesome. I've also enjoyed meeting legends such as Matt Hardy, Road Warrior Animal, Jimmy Hart, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, just to name a few... if you are a wrestling fan, you owe it to yourself to check out some local indy action in your area! While I've been extremely bored with Raw & Smackdwon - these shows are loads of fun! 2. EC3This guy epitomizes determination - as Derrick Bateman, he was cast away from WWE.... he vowed to prove that he was worthy & make a name for himself without World Wrestling Entertainment. And his run through TNA as EC3 has been such a fun ride! While he's not a technical master, his wrestling style reminds me of a lot of 80's stars - you can tell he's a student of the game. Sometimes, he reminds me of a young Rock.... other times, he reminds me of a young Ric Flair. He's confident, and over-the-top - which is often lacking in young WWE stars. I hope he returns to WWE one day - but only if he comes in as a Main Event player. I've met him a couple times too, he's a class act! 3. The WWE NetworkWhenever there's nothing on TV, I can always turn on the WWE network on & find something that catches my interest.... yesterday, while cleaning the living room - I put on part two of the JBL/Eric Bischoff interview. I had to stop cleaning and sit down, it was amazing hearing Bischoff talk candidly about topics such as the fall of WCW, Vince Russo, Hulk Hogan..... just incredible stuff here. I also need to watch some of those "Table For 3" shows.... and monthly PPV's and Live Event specials - all of this for ten dollars a month! I used to read about WWE PPV's in magazines, because my parents wouldn't pony up $40 a month for ONE PPV (as an adult - I can't say I blame them). The amount of content we have access to for ten dollars a month just blows my mind! 4. Attending WWE TV Tapings LIVEThere's nothing quite like first walking into that arena & seeing the bright lights, the Titan Tron, & the fans of WWE! Even the worst RAW shows can be a lot of fun live.... this year, I've been at The Royal Rumble, Payback, and a Monday Night RAW..... I'm probably done for the year, but I wonder which events I'll make it to next year? I'd love to hit WrestleMania 32, but I doubt I can swing it financially.... the only drawback to these shows - they are expensive! 5. Getting Autographs / Photo OpsYes, this has become my #1 hobby (for the moment).... while I believe it's now taken the lead, ahead of collecting wrestling figures - it is often the figures that I get signed, so the two hobbies kind of go hand-in-hand. I've recently started using paint pens & getting a bit more creative with my photos - sometimes even dressing up - we did camouflage for Sgt. Slaughter, we went "Black & White" for the NWO, and we played cards with the APA (Bradshaw & Farooq). Right now - I'm planning my attire for a photo op with Ric Flair/Tully Blanchard/J.J. Dillon in November.... and trying to come up with some ideas for the Hardy Boys! My "man cave" walls are filling up with wonderful wrestling memories, and I look forward to making many more!

1. WWE Network. Absolutely love it, watching 1998 Raw's and PPV's religiously and it's so great it is getting me excited even though I know (for some of it) what happens.
2. Brock Lesnar. Simply the beast. If he isn't on Raw, I don't really care.
3. New Day. Seems like internet circle jerk but they are funny and charismatic. Light hearted fun. Turning them into serious heels in ring and fools outside of it would be a great move if that's where they are heading.
4. Kevin Owens. Great on the mic and an absolute dick. Plays his role so believably.
5. Rusev (pre John Cena). He was instantly one of my favourites getting back into it in December of 2014, and him and Lana demanded attention. He's great, but creative has seriously damaged him since getting involved with Cena.

5. Kevin Owens, New Day, Stardust, John Cena, Bayley and etc: Lumping them all together. Really down on WWE right now, but they are bright spots.
4. NJPW World/NJPW in general: So much great wrestling to watch. Love seeing AJ get treated with the respect he deserves.
3. WWE Network: I need this for my WCW.
2. Hiroshi Tanahashi: One of the best wrestlers I've ever seen. I know every time I see him, I will get a great match.
1. Shinsuke Nakamura: This dude has captivated me like no other in a long time. I love watching his matches.

1. Sheamus being awesome as always 2. The Cosmic Wasteland. I love superhero type stuff so I got suckered into this big time. Plus, it makes me interested in the ascension for the first time, well...ever 3. Finn Balor. He's awesome 4. NXT. I feel like I like NXT for different reasons than everyone else. For me, it's because it feels like an old school territory and I just love that. 5. Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley. Seeing Ryder forced to play the straight man is hilarious.
I also wanted to put something about Becky Lynch on there. Just...wow.
