We know that next year will be the anniversary of one of the most dominant fractions in wrestling history. What if WWE decided to celebrate the formation of the new world order with a new incarnation of the group. If I could write this the group will be called the Order. It will consist of John Cena, who will turn heel. Brock Lesnar and Batista (the hall and Nash of the group) and Randy Orton. This reason being because they all was part of the 2002 class of rookies in the company. I'd think it will be an excellent storyline. What's y'all take on it?

20 years.. Thats crazyness. I remember buying a nWo shirt at a Nitro show here in 1998.
As far as your idea.. I would go with Cena being the heel leader, with NXT guys at his side.

Should just be like the Nexus with NXT guys and Cena as leader.
But without the losing to Cena.

I was 10 years old, and my mind was completely blown that Razor and Diesel were allowed to be on WCW television. My brain exploded at Bash at the Beach. I was in the arena when the streak ended and it didn't come close for me the shock of seeing my childhood hero leg drop Savage.

Not really a fan of your idea to be honest. I don't want Batista back, I dislike Orton and I feel Lesnar operates best alone. Cena as a heel sounds good though!
Crazy it's nearly 20 years ago though.

Only way I could see that working is if all those guys up and left WWE and went to TNA or ROH to do something like the nwo....and that ain't happening

People seem to forget what made the NWO work - and I have said it many times when NWO talk comes up.
The NWO worked because it was 3 outsider guys from another organization trying to take over the organization they were in. For the NWO to work in WWE, it would have to be the likes of TNA or ROH talent coming in to take over. And besides the hardcore fans, nobody is gonna know of TNA or ROH guys.
Little kids would have no clue who Adam Cole, Jay Briscoe and Roderick Strong are if they showed up on WWE TV and said, "We're taking over." Little kids know of John Cena however, and that's all that matters to them.

Ah yes, the nWo. Who could forget when Hall and Nash formed it? Then there was the huge moment at Bash At The Beach when no one joined them.

It was just a thought. I know in order for it to work it will have to be stars from another company or nxt stars. But I'll love to see Cena,Orton,Lesnar and Batista form a heel group. They all came in at the same time all have won world titles and I'm not sure but I think all have been royal rumble winners. If not the nWo then what would you call this fractions?

And the reason I say Cena as the leader cause he's these kids today version of Hogan. The impact of Hogan's heel turn was epic! Fans was so pissed they threw stuff in the ring and actually tried to get in the ring to fight lol they were that damn mad. I'll love to see kids crying over Cena turning heel!

New World Order 20th anniversary should be celebrated. I do like the choices @dreday205 made, as far as the Stars go, but I don’t think it would work in the WWE. Now, if the WWE were to lower its ego a little bit and create a working relationship with TNA or ROH, this could have enormous potential to work.
I’d start with Randy Orton showing up on Impact Wrestling or Ring Of Honor Wrestling and do exactly what Scott Hall did. “You know who I am, but you don’t know why I’m here!!” Following week, have Batista show up and say, “This is where the big boys play?? Look at the adjective, play!!” Now he has to say adjective and not verb, or else it won’t be funny. Now by this point, everyone thinks Orton and Batista have actually signed with TNA or ROH and are just portraying to be invaders from the E. Six-Man Tag Team match comes and it’s the TNA or ROH World Heavyweight Champion, and the TNA or ROH World Tag Team Champions vs. Randy Orton, Batista and an unnamed partner. Of course there’s speculation that it could be Triple H, it could be Ric Flair, it could be Daniel Bryan, it could even be the “Third Man” himself, Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Out comes a guy in Hulk Hogan red and yellow attire with a rubber Hulk Hogan mask. He proceeds to attack the TNA or ROH team, as expected, then he drops the atomic leg, also as expected, then he removes the mask…it’s John Cena!!
Now keep in mind the way the WWE Universe works. Everything outside the Universe doesn’t exist. John Cena on WWE TV is still the face of the WWE and keeps women and children happy, but outside the WWE, he’s the leader of this group of outsiders trying to take over the rival company, that men can cheer for. Things in Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment will never be the same…actually it will be exactly the same as the greatest era in Professional Sports Wrestling Entertainment. I'd still call them the New World Order, but change the “W” in the logo to the WWE scratch logo.

Doing a reinterpretation and not worrying about current face/heel standings, I'd put the Shield back together, throw in Ryback and Miz. Got your leader, tag team, mid card enforcer and jobber. Miz is also a good cowardly talker. my first thought.

1996 was the year wrestling changed forever mostly because of not only the nWo being formed but also began the resurrection of Hogan's career especially because that heel turn was what set off what was probably one of the greatest stables ever in history making history
