Went to the Autorama in Houston today and got these signed. I also started an IG account just for posting my signed figures if anyone cares to follow it. Cool, just followed you. I dig this kinda stuff.

That's awesome! Where'd you catch Undertaker? He came to a Wizard World event in Austin, TX the year printed on the figure. I got to get a high resolution professional photo with him there, and get that figure signed.

You're so lucky! What was he like when you met him? It was cool, but in those situations, you're rushed in and out of the line, there's no time to create any real memorable moment. But the first time I met him was back in 2010 when he was taken off TV while being in a "vegetative state." At this time, WWE was still doing FCW and a way to get people to come to those shows in Florida, they were occasionally bringing in someone from WWE for a meet & greet, and they brought him out for one of these. Not knowing when/if he'd ever do another signing, I flew out there from TX. This was the first time I'd met him, and he was real cool and very happy to be there. Dressed like ABA Undertaker, definitely looked to be doing great for someone supposedly in a "vegetative state." We weren't as rushed there, so I got to chat with him for about a minute. Also being from Texas, we chatted about Texas a bit while he signed a few items for me there. He actually ended up going back to do another signing there two years later, which I also went back for, met him again at WrestleMania 30 Axxess, where I told him he had the best signature in the business and he chuckled and thanked me for saying that, and then this Wizard World appearance. But that first time meeting him was definitely the best experience.

I hope to catch Jericho & Edge somewhere down the line, too

I hope to catch Jericho & Edge somewhere down the line, too Rey does have a nice signature, too, especially if you get him to sign something he has a lot of room to work with. I've met Chris Jericho and Edge a few times. The first time I met Edge was the morning of the RAW before Survivor Series 2004, when he was really starting to heat up. Met him at his book signing at a Walmart in Austin, TX. I was going to the show from out of town, and I had a Triple H shirt on. I get up to him in line, he notices it and says, "Triple H, huh?" I didn't think he'd say anything like that, and I just came back with, "They were out of Edge shirts." So that was a fun little interaction I had him him.

He signed my mask, and it looked amazing!

That's one of those items he may not have a lot of room for. But he still does more than most others do, puts Rey 619 on it. Others may have just put initials, and most others do just put initials no matter how much room to have to work with. Those are the ones not worth long drives and spending a lot of money on. While Chris Jericho is just initials, too, at least he adds Y2J and the year.

How much did Undertaker charge for autographs? It was different at different signings. $50 at the FCW shows, I think $80 at Wizard World, and at Axxess he was the Elite VIP (or whatever they called it) and was $199.

I always ask this of people with signed collections. Which pens do you find work best for getting a clean signature and do you seal it once signed?

I always ask this of people with signed collections. Which pens do you find work best for getting a clean signature and do you seal it once signed? I only use DecoColor paint markers. They seem to work best for me and I don’t use any other brand. And if you’re asking if I seal the marker after it has been used, yes, and I keep it sealed until I use it again.
