I've been looking online for a DI series 1 Jeff Jarrett figure, but I come across versions with two different (painted) heads.
There's a version with blond hair and blue eyes, while the other version has brown hair and brown(ish) eyes.
Is this known to be a variant, or was it just a running change?
Thanks!

I think the one with more blondish hair is from the 2pack with AJ Styles.

Yeah could be the Cross the Line 2 pack version.

The darker haired one was from DI 1. To my knowledge though, the CTL one is identical except for the hair.

To be honest, I had actually bought the two versions of the DI series 1 Jarrett figure already. So, today Jeff Jarrett was in The Netherlands for a wrestling show and a signing, and I brought the two figures with me for him to sign. When it was my turn, I showed him the two figures, and mentioned that there is one with brown hair and one with blond hair. He then said to me, that the ones with brown hair, were actually misprints/errors made by Jakks, as they weren't supposed to come with the brown hair. The error figures were in the first batch, and were later replaced by the Jarrett figure with blonde hair. It was really nice to hear and quite surprising that Jarrett knew about this, normally wrestlers don't care that much and show no real interest in their figures I think. Anyway, a pic of the two figures signed bij Double J:

Ah so it was a running change.
Nice you got to meet him and he knew about it already. Not everyone knows about their own figures, so it was a cool thing to hear.

Wow, I had never seen that DI1 figure with Blonde hair before. Very interesting.

Ah, well there you go - thanks for that. I only have the single version with brown hair so I isn't know it was a running change.
Thanks!

This variant is listed in the old TNA checklist at the top of this board: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/195887/jakks-tna-checklistThere's also 2 variants of the series 1 AJ Styles, one with stubble (painted) and one clean shaven (unpainted). Still cool to hear that Jarrett actually knew something about it. Shame he didn't care enough to ensure Jakks made a decent classic Jeff Jarrett figure instead of that weird one we got with the same goofy shouting headscan.

Yeah especially given the fact he has no teeth shown. I dunno about you guys but when I shout my teeth are always bared. He looks like he's taken his false teeth out.
And yeah good catch on the AJ variants, I remember those. Very nice figures despite his missing signature and Styles at the top of the tights, as well as the logos being too small.
