Mexican fireworks! The most dangerous and fun kind! Boom! Bang! Wow!
Alecia Matthews: Ladies and gentlemen we are south of the border and proud to be broadcasting to you tonight from the infamous Mexico City Arena! Welcome to Borderlines!
The camera pans around the building showing off the sell out crowd in attendance.
Alecia Matthews: What a show we have for you tonight. I'm running solo at the commentary desk as my usual partner Cameron Stone is in the main event tonight, that will see him team with a friend turned vicious enemy in Samael Ahriman as they, in a bizarre series of events, get a shot at Drakz and an unknown partner for his WFWF World Tag Team Championships! Now though let's kick things off with our opening contest.
Joe Magnet vs. Kali Kendall
This seemed destined to be something of a one sided affair as Kali Kendall’s lack of ring experience meant Magnet controlled the early portions of the match with little trouble. He seemed to be enjoying himself as well, playing around with the fans and messing about whenever he got a chance. This ended up leaving him in a bit of trouble when Kali surprisingly, and possibly accidentally, tripped him up and sent him jaw first into the turnbuckle, giving Kali an opportunity to actually get some offence in. She didn’t look all that great in there but she was effective, sticking to the basics and working Magnet over. She actually looked set to get the victory, but as she pulled Magnet up and went for the KKOed Magnet came to life, lifting her up and dropping her gut first straight down onto his knee. He followed that up with the The Flux and got the victory.
Victor: Joe Magnet
Alecia Matthews: A big victory there for Joe Magnet, but- wait, is that…
Inside the ring a surprising guest has just rolled in, Joe Magnet finding himself surprisingly face to face with the owner of the WFWF, Trace Demon. Magnet looks at him, unsure, then notices the microphone in his hand. Probably remembering what he did to Penny Shannon with that microphone last week Magnet decides to take his leave, climbing out of the ring. Trace watches him go while Kali Kendall is being helped up onto her feet by the official. As she rises Trace suddenly spins on the spot and clocks her clean in the skull with the microphone!
Alecia Matthews: Oh what the hell Trace! She’s just a rookie for god’s sake, there’s no need for this!
Kali Kendall drops the canvas like a rock, totally unconscious. The officially tries to tend to her but Trace stares him down, the referee deciding his job is more important as he legs it out of the ring as the crowd boo loudly. Trace Demon, microphone in hand, stands over the body of Kendall. The crowd continue to boo and Trace can only smile, enjoying the moment. He looks out at them, shaking his head.
Trace Demon: I’ve heard a lot of people this week say I’ve been hiding behind the suits. Well tell me, does it look like I’m hiding?
He holds his arms out wide as if to reaffirm his point. This just draws more boos from the crowd.
Trace Demon: Let me make this perfectly clear. Trace Demon doesn’t hide from anybody. You all think that I’m hiding but I’m the one out here right now, right here in the middle of the ring. Who’s out here to stop me, eh? Where are all of your heroes? Where’s Drakz? Where’s Josh? Where’s precious Penny Shannon? I’ll tell you where. They’re all back there, in the back, because two of them don’t give a damn about this nobody, and the other one is too scared to face me. See, that is why I can stand on that stage and announce things, because nobody is willing to come out here and stop me!
The crowd are booing louder than ever. Trace nudges Kali Kendall with his boot as if to make a point of what he’s capable of.
Trace Demon: Sure, I’m the owner of the WFWF. I wear a suit, I go to meetings, I’m the face that runs the place. But when I step inside this ring I am still the most dangerous son of a bitch you’ve ever met. Not a damn thing has changed about that. So to every single one of you in the back who thinks you can talk crap about me just because I spend some time in the office now let me make one thing perfectly clear. I am here, in this ring, and I will finish anyone who thinks that I’m not capable of getting it done. Each and every one of you be warned that I’m here to prove that Lila Sleater doesn’t know what she’s doing but while I’m doing it, I’m going to hurt some people and make some points at the same time.
Trace sees Kali Kendall start to stir, so he takes a step back and then darts forwards, just straight up kicking her right in the jaw. Kali is once more knocked out cold, and the crowd once again begin to boo loudly.
Trace Demon: So who out there is going to come out here and stop me?
Trace waits for a moment, looking up at the ramp. The crowd begin a loud “Penny Shannon” chant, but she doesn’t come. Nobody comes. Trace shakes his head.
Trace Demon: That’s what I thought.
And with that he drops the microphone on the chest of Kali Kendall and exits the ring through the ropes, making his way back up the ramp without even a second look back at his handiwork. He’s sent his message loud and clear.
The camera goes to black as a narration begins.
There’s something approaching? Can you feel it? The winds are changing. The clouds are rolling out, and the sun is coming through. You see, Most people expect their demons to come from the ground or to appear in front of them. They expect their gods to descend from heaven to rescue them. That’s not what this is. The sky is where I come from, but I am not a forgiving god, rather a merciless angel. I haven’t been sent by someone…I’ve come of my own accord. I’ve seen some of what has happened with you, and I expect that soon your gods will betray you, as they have betrayed some of you before.
The camera changes, looking out over a body of water as the narration continues.
I will be coming soon. I will not come to condemn, because, let’s be honest, most of you would find my condemnation a compliment. Instead, I am coming with fire. Elijah. Elijah called down fire from heaven, just to show up those who had been cursing God. I am the one who will be calling down this fire, and I will be said fire. Understand something, I am not returning to simply ignore the slime and scum that pass through. I’m going to clean this place up a bit.
The camera pans back, as a man comes into view, facing away from the camera, along with the coast line and some buildings.
To all of you who I speak of, and you are well aware of who you are, count your sins. For your reckoning may just very well be upon you. I come from the land of scum and villainy, and you are so much easier than these people are. Tread carefully, for I will give no warning when I approach from the skies. And you will know that you have failed this company. Happy Halloween!
The man jumps off of the side of the building, as the camera pans out more and shows the Chicago skyline. The man is visible, running on a fire escape.
Just as we were getting set for the next match, some guitar feedback begins playing over the PA eventually giving way to the intro to “Streaker” by Sugar Ray. The crowd in attendance murmur amongst each other as this isn’t actually anyone’s entrance song. Eventually, however, a figure walks out through the curtain and the crowd erupts in a chorus of boos. It’s “Platinum” Justin Tyme.
Alecia Matthews: Well we were getting set for Lucas Crowe versus Zoe Schaefer but here comes Lucas Crowe’s mentor, manager, advocate, whatever he is. Former WFWF International and Tag Team Champion, Justin Tyme.
Justin struts his way down the aisle way, throwing up an upside down shocker hand sign. He feigns an effort to high five some of the fans which just elicits further jeers from the audience. Instead of entering the ring, he circles around to the announce table, grabs a headset and takes a seat.
Alecia Matthews: Well I guess I’m going to be joined by Justin Tyme for commentary during this next match. Goody.
Justin Tyme: You’re welcome Alma, the pleasure is all yours I’m sure.
Alecia Matthews: It’s Alecia, Justin.
Justin waves his hand dismissively and kicks his feet up onto the announce table.
Alecia Matthews: Comfy?
Justin Tyme: Very much so.
Alecia Matthews: Well glad to hear. Let’s send it up to Christa to actually get this next match under way.
”In The Stars” By Icona Pop hits and blue lights flash throughout the arena. The crowd rises to their feet and show their appreciation for the first competitor
Christa Adina: Ladies and gentlemen the following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, fighting out of Cleveland, Ohio. Weighing in at one hundred forty pounds, ZOOOOE SCHAAAAAEFER!
Zoe comes out with a smile on her face. She walks quickly to the ring while blowing kisses to the crowd. She enters the ring, gets on the turnbuckle and bows to the crowd.
Alecia Matthews: Last week Zoe Schaefer put on an incredible match against Jon Gotch. Both young stars here in the WFWF however Gotch managed to pick up the victory. What does that do to a person’s psyche Justin?
Justin Tyme: Well first off, we are nowhere close to first name basis young lady so if you wish to address me in the future, please address me as Mr. Tyme. But to answer your question, while being on the losing end of a person’s first win in the WFWF can damage a person’s psyche I can assure you it is not anywhere close to as mentally taxing as the thought of her stepping into the ring this week with my mercenary, the nearly seven foot tall mountain of a man that you now have to call the NEEEWWWW WFWF National Champion.
With that, the opening riff for “The Vengeful One” by Disturbed tears through the arena to more boos than cheers as Lucas Crowe makes his way out from behind the curtain, National Championship in tow.
Christa Adina: And her opponent, weighing in at three hundred and ten pounds. He is the WFWF National Champion, LUUUUCAS CROOOOOOWE!
Crowe saunters his way to the ring with the National Championship slung over his shoulder. He doesn’t climb into the ring immediately, instead circling around the ring to the announce table. There he hands Justin Tyme his title to hold on to, giving him a fist bump before turning and entering the ring. Crowe faces the camera side and raises his fist with the upside down shocker hand sign Tyme was using earlier. The referee asks both competitors if they are ready and then calls for the bell.
*DING DING*
Lucas Crowe cockily walks to the middle of the ring and extends his hand in an insincere handshake request. Zoe walks up to Crowe and, without even considering accepting the handshake, rocks the big man with a forearm to the jaw. Crowe stumbles back into the corner but Schaefer comes following in with a running knee to the midsection of Crowe who doubles over. Zoe rolls Crowe out of the corner into a seated position and takes off running, rebounding off the ropes and attempting a huge soccer type punt. Crowe luckily dodges out of the way because that kick is one that could have kicked a fifty yard field goal. Crowe rolls out of the ring and walks over to the announce table to compose himself.
Justin Tyme *directed at Crowe*: Hey don’t let her get rolling like that. Take her seriously because she’s trying to use you as a stepping stone. You’re no one’s stepping stone. Get back in there.
Crowe slowly climbs back onto the apron but drops off when Zoe came in to resume the attack. Crowe barks at the referee to keep her back. The referee turns his attention to Zoe and backs her up. Crowe hops back up on the apron and re-enters the ring. Crowe looks over at Tyme and nods. Crowe then, once again in a cocky manner, holds his one hand up and requests a test of strength. Zoe does not oblige and instead begins throwing buzzsaw level kicks to the inside of Crowe’s tree trunk sized legs and begins to chop the big man down to one knee.
Alecia Matthews: It’s starting to seem like Crowe, the much bigger and stronger man, is not taking Zoe seriously as a competitor and is starting to pay dearly for his lack of respect.
Zoe lines Crowe up for one last huge buzzsaw kick to the skull but as it’s thrown, Crowe catches the leg of Zoe. Crowe then stands up, hooking Zoe’s other leg in an Alabama Slam situation. Crowe whips Zoe to the ground with an Alabama Slam with such vicious velocity that the back of Zoe’s head slams off the mat.
Justin Tyme: Lack of respect nothing, how about you appreciate that Alana! That is your National Champeen finding his footing. It’s all downhill from here for Miss Schaefer.
Lucas wanders over to the downed Zoe and arrogantly puts his foot on the chest for a “pinfall” that Zoe kicks out of at not even one. Lucas chuckles and bends over to grab the hair of Zoe. When he does this, Zoe grabs Lucas’s wifebeater and pulls him into a small package.

Lucas kicks out and ambles to his feet but is met with a dropkick that knocks him back into the ropes. Zoe comes charging back and hits another dropkick that takes the big man up and over the top rope and crashing into the announce table.
Alecia Matthews: Zoe Schaefer is rolling here now as she has taken the big man out of the ring!
Justin starts shouting at Crowe to get his big ass up off the ground. Zoe takes off running towards the ropes and comes through the top and middle rope with a suicide dive but is caught by Lucas Crowe and driven back first into the ring apron. Crowe looks pissed off now at almost being embarrassed by a small package and the gloves are off. Literally. Lucas Crowe tears off his wrist tape and begins to choke Zoe with it on the outside of the ring. The referee admonishes Crowe, giving him to the count of five which Crowe adheres and breaks before the ref gets there. Crowe rolls Zoe into the ring.
Alecia Matthews: It looks like all that little flurry of offense only served to make the Motor City Mercenary mad.
Justin Tyme: You’re god damn right it pissed him off and now she’s going to incur the wrath of a furious giant.
Crowe gets back into the ring and absolutely flattens Zoe with a running senton. You can hear the air escape from the lungs of Zoe. Crowe wastes no time now in going for a cover but a level of arrogance is still there as he doesn’t hook the leg.

2…
Zoe gets the shoulder up but when she does so, Crowe floats over like a cruiserweight and locks in a cross armbar on the arm Zoe used to kick out with. Schaefer screams in pain but is close enough to immediately get to the ropes. Crowe, however, doesn’t break right away opting to once again use the referees five count to his advantage.
Justin Tyme: Miss Schaefer must be careful because Lucas will not hesitate to rip that arm off and eat it for breakfast. Then how will she be able to hit that gnarly little elbow smash of hers?
Alecia Matthews: I may not agree with how you said it but you’re absolutely right. Zoe can’t afford to have a man the size of Crowe lock in a move like that in say the middle of the ring. She’s lucky ring positioning was on her side on that one.
Crowe picks up Zoe by her hair very slowly and methodically but with a burst of energy, Zoe breaks Crowe’s grasp and begins throwing absolute bombs of forearms to the neck and chin of Crowe. She goes back to throwing kicks to the legs and ribs of Crowe. Crowe catches Zoe’s leg again but this time, without missing a beat, Schaefer catches Crowe in the ear with a huge enziguri that takes the big man off his feet. Zoe ambles over to a cover.
1…
2…
Kickout by Crowe! Zoe wastes no time in resuming the attack though. Crowe sits up but is met with the biggest running punt kick ever. It would have separated a normal man’s head from his neck. Instead, this one appears to have just rendered Crowe unconscious. Zoe once again crawls over to the pin.
1…
2……
KICKOUT by Lucas Crowe! Schaefer can’t believe it. She slaps the mat in frustration.
Alecia Matthews: Zoe Schaefer cannot afford to get frustrated here. She has to stay on the National Champion and not allow him anytime to recover.
Justin Tyme: She doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to. You… just quit trying to run her life. If she wants to give Crowe a bit of time to recover I will not hold that against her.
Zoe opts to stay right on top of the WFWF National Champion. She picks up Crowe by his ears very laboriously and shoves him back into the corner. She then ascends the turnbuckle and spins the big man around and locks him in a front face lock. She comes off the top rope in an attempted tornado DDT but is launched off by Crowe who throws her halfway across the ring. Zoe lands on her feet and makes a run at Crowe but is absolutely decapitated by a monstrous Yakuza kick. Crowe to the cover.
1…
2….
KICKOUT by Zoe Schaefer! Now it’s Crowe’s turn to slap the mat in frustration. Crowe shouts out “That’s it! It’s over” and picks Zoe up. He hooks under her one arm and then the other setting up The Crowe’s Nest (Gallows Pole) but upon lifting Zoe up, she slips her arm out and brings Crowe back down with a huge DDT. Zoe wastes no time going for the cover.
1…
2…..
KICKOUT By Crowe! This time, in reciprocation from earlier in the match, Schaefer floats over and locks in an armbar on Crowe’s massive limb. Crowe doesn’t have ring positioning in his favor however as he’s in the middle of the ring. Crowe tries to reach for any of the ropes with any available limb but despite his size, can’t seem to do it. Crowe opts for the pure strength option and lifts Schaefer high off the mat and looks set to drop Zoe with a huge powerbomb. Zoe, once in the air lets go of Crowe’s arm and falls behind the big man grabbing him into a sunset flip pin.
1…
Crowe kicks out at one. Zoe then backrolls out of the pin combination onto her feet. She attempts to charge at Crowe but Crowe catches her in the midsection with a lifting knee strike. Crowe wastes no time double underhooking Zoe and lifting her and dropping her with The Crowe’s Nest to a thunderous impact. Crowe covers Zoe and hooks the far leg this time.

2……
ZOE KICKS OUT AT TWO AND THREE QUARTERS!
Alecia Matthews: I can’t believe it! Tyme and Crowe are absolutely dumbfounded and this crowd are shocked at what they just seen. Zoe Schaefer just survived one of the National Champion’s best shots. Wha- Wait, Tyme, where are you going?
Justin Tyme dumps the headset and rushes up to the ring and slaps the mat to get Crowe’s attention. Crowe looks over at Tyme as Tyme makes the throat cut hand sign then points at Schaefer. Crowe picks up Schaefer by the hair but once again Schaefer breaks Crowe’s grip by delivering another buzzsaw kick to the right leg of Crowe.
Alecia Matthews: I would hate to see what Crowe’s legs look like after this match. Zoe Schaefer has been absolutely bombing those kicks in all match long.
Crowe staggers backwards but eventually takes a couple steps forward he’s caught with a huge Schaefer Special (rolling elbow) that staggers him and forces him to back up against the ropes. Schaefer smells blood in the water though and follows up with another Schaefer Special to the chin of Crowe that drops the big man down to one knee. Just as Schaefer looks ready to deliver a third Schaefer Special, Justin Tyme hops up onto the apron and shouts obscenities at the referee and Schaefer. Schaefer wastes no time in cleaning Tyme’s clock with a Schaefer Special of his own. However while Schaefer admired her work, yelling at Tyme to stay out of it next time, Crowe was allowed enough time to recover, grabbing Zoe from behind and locking her in the Motor City Blackout (rear naked choke). This time, Crowe has Zoe in the middle of the ring. Still, Schaefer attempted to struggle and scramble to the ropes but to no avail. Eventually enough circulation had been cut off that the referee, upon checking on Zoe, declared her unconscious and called for the bell.
*DING DING DING*
Christa Adina: Here is your winner by submission, the WFWF National Champion LUUUUCAS CROOOOWE!
Alecia Matthews: A very game Zoe Schaefer took the fight to the much bigger WFWF National Champion but at the end of the day the distraction provided by Justin Tyme was enough for Crowe to take advantage.
Crowe stands over the unconscious Zoe Schaefer with his title belt slung over his shoulder. He bends down, grabs Zoe’s lifeless hand and gives himself a handshake with it. Crowe climbs over the top rope, walks over to Justin Tyme who is holding his jaw and helps him up the ramp.
